Chapter 5: Cristi, Child of Luck.
Zach packed the essential items like, healing pills, bandage, food etc. His grandpa was too strict for his safety.
The Ice Spider Forest was not too far away it was just ' 20 km ' away from the city.
Zach sat inside his car and in 20 minutes Zach was at the forest entrance.
He looked at the forest in front of him, after gathering some courage he walked in.
Although Zach had trust in his strength, and guards were protecting him from the shadows, he was still nervous and did not drop his own guard.
After wandering in the forest for at lest 10 minutes he still did not find any ice spider, but then he heard something from his behind, his survival instinct caused his to jump in the air, in the next moment an ice spear stabbed were he was standing.
"Damn I got too careless, I could have been heavily injured right now. Regina Fire ball."
Next moment a fire ball killed the ice spider in one shot.
Zach was astonished, but he just thought that it must have been just a Tire 1 ice spider, because no matter how powerful and special his beast may be but it is still difficult to kill someone in one shot.
And Regina did it in one shot.
Zach thinks nothing of it and moves forward.
...After an hour of wandering in the forest...
Now Zach is fully convinced that Regina is someone special Zach has checked it several times, Regina being Tire - 5 could easily kill a Tire - 9. Yes Regina has now become Tire - 5, not only that Zach also discovered a new function of Eye of Chaos, it is able to find flaws in the attacks and give the solution to correct it as well.

He even killed Iron rank ice spiders, and Zach knew the reason why he was not able to advance, their wasn't much of a pressure, he needed a stronger opponent, so he went deeper into the forest, he wanted to fight the ice spider queen, "I hope the queen is at least at higher tire of iron rank."
Hoping for a good fight Zach moved forward but just when he moved he heard a cry, it sounded like the cry of a girl, Zach moved forward cautiously when he arrived at the scene of the voice he saw a delicate looking girl in worn off clothes, their were countless bruises on her body it looked bloodied. Zach understood that the girl might have been attacked by a group of ice spiders.
Zach looked at her, his Eyes of Chaos were active.

Zach's eyes widened an SS - level talent how rare was that, if she is nurtured properly she will become as strong as his grandpa, and the Luck attitude was just too amazing to ignore.
But he was a bit suspicious, if a SS - level talent was born he should have known it right, and even if not, how can such a talent be left to rot like this.
Nothing less he helped her, "What's your name and what are doing here." Zach asked her in a polite tone.
The girl was a bit shy but she gathered her courage and said, "I.. I.. I am from a nearby town located on the other side of the forest, I just became a beast master and formed my own beast space, I came here to look for a beast to form a contract with but was attacked by a group of ice spiders."
Zach confirmed that his guess was correct and she was indeed attacked by a group of ice spiders. "And what's your name."
"Oh..oh s..sorry about that, my name is Cristi."
"And what is your family name."
"I don't have a family name I am from a very poor family." Cristi said with a bit of sadness in her eyes.
In this era only big and Nobel families has the right to have a family name, as for other people they have two choices.
1. Live without a family name.
2. Join a big family and if you are lucky enough, you can inherit that family's name.
Having a family name was one of the most important things in this era.
Zach looked at Cristi and told her to rest for a while he placed Regina with her so that she will be safe.
Zach walked a bit far from Cristy, "Sister Jessica are you their."
A cold looking girl appeared out of the shadows, "You called me young master."
"Sister Jessica can you find the background of that girl named Cristi."
Jessica did not ask the reason she just nodded and went back into the shadows.
Zach also wanted to test the nature of Cristi so he chose to travel with her.
Zach went back to Cristi, "How are your wounds, will you be able to walk."
Cristi looked at Zach with astonishing gaze her wounds healed as soon as she rubbed the medicine given by Zach, but Cristi just nodded.
Zach understood the meaning and said her to follow him.
Cristi followed him inside the forest, she was hesitating at fist but after thinking that Zach has helped her she did not hesitate any further.
On the way Zach also found more about Cristi's talent it had the power to steal someone's luck or give someone her own luck, but it was not permanent after some time the luck value will return to normal, not only that but he also found out that her luck was very high.
Zach talked a bit to Cristi and found out that she did not know her own talent, on the day of awakening the machine showed her talent as F - level talent.
Other than this they never talked even once.
The reason was simple Cristi was a shy girl and Zach was not interested in talking without any reason. Zach did not tell her about his background.
They both traveled together for a week, Zach came to know Cristi's nature she was a shy and righteous girl and had a good heart.
"Sister Jessica should have done her research by now, let's see her background, if she has a clean background I guess I'll talk to grandpa and take her as my personal maid, I sure can have luck with my side." Zach thought to himself, after a while Zach gave an excuse and came to a deserted area, "Sister Jessica."
"Here, young master." A voice sounded in the shadows.
"Have you done the background check."
"Yes."
"Tell me then."
"She is 18 years old, she comes from a very poor family she only has one mother, her father went to buy milk for her when she was born but did not return after that, She was the last to awaken, her talent was F - level talent, her mother is sick from a very deadly disease, and the medical cost is not enough so she wants to become a beast master to provide enough money for her mother's medical bills, she loves Jasmine flower her favorite color is yellow, she has no friends and has never been in a relationship, she loves mast*rbating in front of the moon, her fetishes are..."
"Enough sister Jessica enough I do not need so much information."
"As you wish young master."
In the entire conversation her face was expressionless. Zach was terrified by the intelligence force of his family, like how can you even know how a person likes to feel pleasure..
"Sister Jessica can you give me my phone back I would like to talk something with grandpa.
Jessica nodded and gave the phone to Zach.
Zach called his grandpa.
"Hello Zach you miss the old man so much already."
"Hey grandpa I just wanted to tell you that I'll be home tomorrow with a girl and I would like you to give her our family name."
"This old man understands don't worry your wedding will be very epic."
Zach was dumbfounded did his grandpa misunderstand, it seems like it.
"Grandpa I am not in the mood to joke I'll be taking her as my personal maid and I already know that you know which girl I am talking about."
"I know I know you are talking about that girl named Cristi right, tell me what's so especial about her, I have read her report several times I did not find anything special about her only her fetishes were strange, so I thought finally my grandson might be interested in someone. You know rich children of your age has already popped their Cheri, but you, sometimes I wonder if you are gay or not."
"I don't know about what strange fetishes you are talking about because I already stopped listening before that part, but yes she is special and I will tell it about you in private, for now just tell me can I promise her that she will be given Crimson family name, and her mothre's illness will be healed."
Zach ignored the gay part, he was not interested in arguing with his grandpa.
"Both are easy things for me to do, and I certainly will do it if you say that she is special, anything else."
"Yes grandpa, one more thing I'll come tomorrow, so please prepare the needed materials for evolution."
"Don't worry I have already prepared all those items, you can come home without any worries."
"Bye grandpa."
With that Zach hung up the phone call.
Zach had already fought the ice spider queen but he wasn't able to break through, so he had already made up his mind that he will put Regina in the beast space till she reaches Tire - 9.
.....Beast Master's way of ranking up.....
A beast master dose not need to cultivate, he gets cultivation from his own beasts(feedback). A beast normally only gives 20% of his cultivation to his master. The numbers can go up depending on how good the relationship between the beast and it's master is, but no matter how low their relationship is 20% is minimum, but in Zach's case the minimum amount is 50% due to the Perfect Contract method, that's why beast masters tame more beasts, and the powerful the beast the stronger the quality of feedback.
A beast master can contract one beast after each rank, for example if Zach reaches Iron Rank he will be able to contract one more beast. It is not necessary to contract a beast, some people only contract one beast in their entire life time but are able to reach Dimond Rank or Amethyst Rank.

Zach went back to Cristi who was playing with Regina.
"Cristi let's talk."
"Ah."
