Chapter 8: CHAPTER 8
"Then let alone an alpha like Laura, is there an omega who can beat any alpha alone? Is there even an omega that can split an alpha directly in half, not in a normal way? The only way it can do that is if the alpha is either exposed to the wolfsbane, or the person who killed her must be someone who knows Laura so she's restrained."
"So the person who did this knew Laura?"
"I think so. No survivors in your family? From family, this is a stronger possibility."
"There is only me and my uncle."
"If not you then there is one option left."
"He can't do that."
"Why?"
"He is in hospital right now."
"Then check him. Try to attack him. Even give him my name and listen to his heartbeats."
"Fine."
"[Shadow open] See ya."
"Hm."
Then Derek left and I went back to the car.
"The weather began to cloud. I think it will rain."
I got into the car and went back to meditating.
An hour passed.
"I'm so bored I want to try my powers. But it would be really bad if people saw it. Wait a minute, they're at a party right now and everybody's probably drunk or high, then I can work outside."
Then I went out, walked a little further into the forest, and passed where no one could see.
"I want to use that [Hollow Purple] if I send a small one towards the sky, I don't think it will hurt anyone. Let's use."
"[Cursed Technique: blue] [Cursed reversal: red] hollow... Purple. [Hollow Purple] towards sky."
I sent a small purple ball from my hand straight into the sky. And it suddenly exploded in the sky, which actually looked like a firework until...
All of a sudden, lightning started to flash and it started pouring rain.
Since my infinity is active, I quickly reached the car without any raindrops falling on me, got into the car with a satisfied smile on my face and started to wait for Allison.
After a long and boring time it finally looked like the party was over and Allison came up to the car, I opened the side door and let her in. But even from a short distance, I was drenched.
"Parties are so much fun, you should join someday."
"Come close."
"Hm?"She didn't understand what I was saying, but she approached anyway.
*Sniff Sniff
"Are you smelling me?!"
"Good, you don't have a man's or alcohol's scent on you."
"Of course."
"Well, if you had fun, we're going."
"By the way, Lydia asked you to come to the next one."
"I refuse." I answered directly.
"Sigh... Like my mom used to say, you need to socialize."
"Nope I don't need it."
Although it rained heavily, I could see in front of me easily, so we could easily reach the house.
After taking a bath and getting ready, we finally went to bed. I woke up early in the morning and got ready after a while, everyone in the house woke up and got ready. But then I felt Derek's presence across the street. Without anyone in the house noticing, I went to Derek with my [Secret Shadow Walk] skill.
"So?" I asked.
"You were right. I can't believe my uncle killed Laura."
"If he can do something like that just for the sake of alpha, you should be more careful. Also, you do realize that there is a new beta, right?"
"Yes Scott Mccall."
"We need you to teach him werewolves, otherwise if he accidentally kills someone, it will be difficult for us, and your uncle is after him after all."
"Why do you care so much, normally an Argent only cares about killing." Derek asked.
"So are all werewolves the same?"
"No."
"Then all Argent's aren't same either. I'm not like Kate or Gerard. And by the way, I'm sorry about what happened to your family. Kate and Gerard were behind that fire."
"How do you know?" Derek were surprised.
"I heard the two of them brag about it when I was younger. In fact, I can't let them get away with what they've done."
"What are you going to do?"
"Not me, your uncle will do it. The plan is simple, your uncle will kill Kate and Gerard, or either, then a beta or omega we can trust will kill your uncle. Because Beacon Hills needs an alpha, not a monster."
"How will he do this? Neither is near." Derek asked.
"Simple because Kate will be back in town soon. And I'm sure your uncle hates her and will try to kill her."
"By the way, do you know Shades?"
"Yes I remembered." After thinking for a while he replied.
"I think they used to be in the Hale pack and are still in town."
"I see. I'll talk to them."
"Okay see ya." Soon after, I came home and got ready and went to school with Allison.
We attended classes as normal, but with one difference, we were meeting and chatting with Anna between classes. And I have to admit, it was really fun chatting with a friend.
"By the way, Anna, you know, there's a new Beta in town." I asked while sitting on a bench at recess.
"Eeehh? Really? Do you know who?"
"I know actually you know too."
"Really who?"
"Scott."
"Scott?"
"Yep Scott Mccall. He bitten by that monster."
"So now Scott is in that alf- monster's pack?"
"No, he has not yet fully grasped what he is. That's why I asked Derek Hale to teach him."
"Hm? Why?"
"Because Scott has been staring at my sister every day since my sister entered the classroom, and bitten werewolves' emotions get out of hand in these kinds of situations, so he needs to be trained so he doesn't try to hurt my sister and get killed by me."
"Oh I see. So how did you met with Derek Hale?"
Then I told her what happened at the party the night before, except of course [Hollow Purple].
We are back to the lesson. And this time there was a lunch break after class.
