Chapter 18: Sexy Broker
"Now come to think of it I can't feel any change in my strength. What the fuck?" James said as examined himself for the first time after logging out of the game.
'System can you tell me why I am not able to express my strength in the physical world?' James asked the system for an explanation since all his plans depended on that. Due to Bella's interference or peep into a bit of the future, James had an idea about eight people who will receive unique classes that will make them a cut above the rest of the players. James knew about the financial situation of about five of eight of these individuals. With his newfound wealth, he could invite these five individuals into his camp as long as he took care of their financial burdens and their families. But for the remaining three, who had all one could ever wish for; money, fame, and women, the only way to convince them of making the right decision is by showing them pure unadulterated skill and strength. But the effect of showing such skill in the game won't have as much impact compared to the real world. This inability to showcase his strength had now once again become the main crux of his towering problems.
"Ding!!! The only reason might be the absence of mana currently on earth or due to the host's uninhibited soul power which has not been suppressed by the soul limiter." The system notification rang in James' head.
"Okay, it seems the solution to the problem is simple," James thought as he remembered his earlier problem when he tried awakening earlier after logging in to the game. It was the same problem here too.
"Okay now that is settled, I need a house and to register for school by today. Next week is when college education starts officially for our batch" James said as he prepared to call a realtor to sort out his house issues.
"Hello. My name is James Mills. I would like to ask for a mansion between the prices of 200,000 to 500,000 dollars. Where would be the meeting spot??" James asked the realtor over the phone.
"Hello Sir, as a bonus from the Homes and Insurance Company, we give a ride to our customers to their potential estates." A woman's voice said over the phone.
" Okay, but may I know your name?"James asked the woman without any ''ulterior motives''.
''My name is Rebecca and I am the manager of the estates around The North Institute region. I am sorry Sir for not introducing myself earlier on. Can you please send me the coordinates of your location?"Rebecca said after she apologized for her rude behavior.
"Okay apology accepted. I'll send the coordinates now." James said as he hung up.
"Lisa!! I am going to solve the house issues now. Stay in your room till I come back." James said as went to the meeting spot he decided to meet Rebecca at.
"Okay big brother" Lisa shouted out from her room.
[Thirty Minutes Later ]
James was sitting at the decided meeting spot when a Maybach S650 pulled in front of him.
A sexy and beautiful lady with bright green hair with bright blue eyes looking about 22 years old came out of the car and headed towards James' sitting spot.
"Hello please, did a person come around looking like he was waiting for someone?" Rebecca asked as she looked at James.
''No Miss. I didn't see anyone when I came here" James said as he checked Rebecca out.
"Oo! Okay I guess he has not arrived yet," Rebecca said as she sat with James and started fiddling with her phone.
"Hello Miss, can I please know your name? " James asked as he pretended not to know her.
'Hmmm...I guess it won't hurt just to tell me his name. He is just a kid after all.' Rebecca internalized as she wondered about James' motives.
''My name is Rebecca and I am a realtor at the Homes and Insurance Company. I came to this area to pick up a customer." Rebecca summed up her identity and told James about her purpose for coming to the area. This was a tactic to cut off their conversation before it even started.
'Even though he is handsome, he is too young for me. I am sure he doesn't even have the money to satisfy my needs. I hope this customer will be someone my age. If I can trap him I can leave this realtor job behind. I have just been dealing with rich old men all my career. Their old dicks can't even satisfy me' Rebecca thought as she prepared her hooking line to trap the big "fish" which was James. One would be shocked such a beautiful and noble-looking woman will have such vulgar thoughts.
"Nice to meet you. My name is James Mills. I am here to purchase a property from the Homes and Insurance Company. I am here to meet my, broker who goes by the name, Rebecca" James said as he stood up to shake the stunned Rebecca.
"H-Hello, Mr. James. Nice to meet you too." Rebecca said as she stuttered.
'That was a close call, had I been rude I'll have lost a potential customer and a handsome boyfriend material. I nearly lost a substantial commission.' Rebecca said as she wiped off her imaginary sweat. She just forgot about thinking he was a broke young man who wanted to pester her.
''Can we move to the estate zone? It will take a while to find the perfect house to fit your preference." Rebecca said as she tried to change the subject from the previous awkward moment.
"Alright. Let's get the move on"
(A/N: Guys sorry for the short chapter today. I kinda had a lot to do today. A lot of people have been asking whether this will be a harem and the answer is a technical No. Technically, because a harem is when the mc has a love interest in multiple women. But here lies the case, our mc is just about the sex. The sex is for benefits of course, such as a price reduction on a house, etc. His only love interest is Tabitha. But if you don't agree, depending on the votes, I can make him stick to only Tabitha. #Strictly No Other Women.)
