Chapter 12: Entering the Academy
Scrolls were interesting I had to admit. They were like phones, but supremely lacking on the entertainment. No games, no funny videos, barely any porn! Just news...
I pocketed my scroll and stood up to see the view. I blinked and almost laughed at the happenstance. This was just too good! Two girls or should I say two sisters were on the same flight as I was. One was little red or who I found out as Ruby Rose and the other was the girl from the bar who was Yang Xiao Long. Thanks to the internet I was able to learn who Ruby was. Thanks to her having almost perfect combat grades and being taught by her Uncle Qrow.
Wouldn't you fucking know it, but her Uncle was a friend of Ozpin! Ruby was likely the girl Ozpin had put high hopes on. No she was the girl he had put his hopes on simply due to her name. Rose petal semblance the girl's name was Ruby Rose.
Yang her sister was equally as interesting though, from what i could figure out the woman she was looking for had some connection to the huntsman team Qrow was in. That's as far as I got though... Didn't mean I had my own guesses though. The woman was either blood related somehow or killed someone blood related. The obvious guess was she was Yang's mom. After all unless Ruby is some secret love child. Their Uncle Qrow had to be blood related to their mom. Hmmm, or moms? The two didn't look very similar.
Interrupting the two's conversation I followed up on Ruby's statement. "You are special if you moved up two years. I mean perfect combat grades, Ozpin personally putting interest into you, not to mention... You have have Goldilocks here as your sister."
"Goldilocks?"
"YOU! How? What? Why are you here?"
"Woah slow down Yang. I'm a teacher...'s assistant. So what happens at AA stays in AA okay?"
Yang paused clearly mind boggled. Ruby however seemed to have a slightly more obvious nature and plowed into her own question. "You are a teacher's assistant here? Is that how you know our names?"
I shrugged, "More or less surprised I was hired actually. You know how it is though don't you Ruby. The world is full of surprises." I grinned, "May we birds of a feather flock together."
Yang gave me a glare, "I'm watching you buster."
I gave her a smiled, "Likewise..."
I leaned back as Glynda came on as a hologram giving a brief introduction. Once it finished a boy with blonde hair started to gag. I stepped out of the way as he ran past, I felt a weird sense of deja vu from him. Like I had met him some how...
"Oh that mother fucking purple bitch." he traded souls alright he traded souls in the present mother fucking time. No wonder the Commader in my past life advanced so quickly. He was reincarnated in that fucking life in my past life! Two souls my fucking ass.
That blonde hair boy was the spitting image of Lincoln. I let go of my balled up fist, and breathed out. So here's a question then, if Lincoln was reincarnated in the start of my life and I was now here in his life. If I affect his past life would my memories of my past life change?
I would keep my eyes on the blonde boy, see if he really is Lincoln. It may not be him after all he only looks like him. I followed the two sisters off the plane. I wanted to learn a bit more about Ruby. Ozpin clearly was paying attention to her, so it was best I should too.
I watched Yang ditch her sister. "Cold hearted of her."
"Well Yang is older than me of course she would have her own friends."
I just shrugged, "Then make your own fr-"
"Hey watch where you are going!"
I turned around to a white haired girl who ran me over with a dolly. She had several boxes of dust piled high. This time I did actually laugh. "Pfftahaha! You are the one who bumped into me lass. Watch where you are going, Miss Schnee."
It seemed luck was eating me alive today, So many people, with amusing possibilities.
"I am Weiss Schnee! Are you saying I can't see where I am going?"
"Indeed you are, did I not confirm that? Or are you just stupid? Perhaps you ran me over on purpose then? After all your family has quite the history with he Faunus and here I am..." I made a gesture of looking around. "The only Faunus in view. Seems a little targeted."
Weiss took a step back and Ruby seemed completely frozen. She wanted to intervene, but she didn't know my name. I hadn't actually told her. I shook my head, "I will see you later Miss Schnee. I will be keeping my eyes on your actions."
I walked away, Ruby helped Weiss put her stuff back on the dolly. I had no doubt Ruby would tell her that I was working here. Perhaps they could be friends.
