Chapter 156: Fool

Ren Jidian was frozen in shock for a while, like the rest of the spectators. Many of them quickly pulled out their phones, and recorded what just happened. 

He snapped out of it and covered his beloved from the flashing lights. 

"Zhi-Zhi….. Zhi-Zhi, look at me. Stay with me." He whispered and held on to his face that had some cracks. 

His beloved shook his head. "I'm alright…. I'm not going to die, Dian-Dian. You can fix me again. But the problem is….. Now the truth is out in public."

Ren Jidian turned to the people taking videos and pictures. "What's wrong with you all??? Don't you see he's hurt??? Get away from here, stop taking pictures!"

"They won't stop. They'll probably think it's a prank or some kind of street performance. I'm not a human to them, so I can't get hurt. " He chuckled bitterly.

"Just….. Take me away from he–HE—HE—HE—HE—eee…ree…."

He suddenly malfunctioned, spasming and then turning off.
