Chapter 1: New Life New Me

A groan left Sean as he opened his eyes, he was waking up from a much needed beauty sleep.

The first thing he noticed upon gaining coherence, was that he had a ceiling fan. First things first, his room didn't have a ceiling fan. The second thing was that he didn't have any back pain. Granted that comes with old age when you don't schedule for full body massages. Finally and most importantly....he had a bigger schlong.

Sean was peaking beneath the blankets, his dark brown eyes locking onto his lower half with a glare of curiosity. He also noticed that he had abs, most likely due in part to him being young...that's not right.

'So first of all, when have I exercised?', thought Sean, 'I was a fat fuck by the time I was forty!'

Sean was bewildered, he had a six pack, a bigger schlong, as well as not suffering from back pains. With a grunt, he moved out of bed and found himself standing at least possibly an inch taller than he should be. He was suppose to be five foot nine, not six feet.

Before Sean could try and use rational thinking, he was hit with a sudden and excruciating headache. One that made his head numb as he was made to see past memories not his own. Well, technically speaking they were his own.

For nearly ten minutes he groaned and knelt on his knees in throbbing pain. When the pain past, he had blood dripping from his nose. To Sean, it felt as if his brain was being rewired. The reason why he felt this way was because he had just gained memories that weren't his own. These memories involved himself, well not him but another Sean.

He knew now that he was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was currently 2007, July 3th. He was the son of a Hydra agent, which was more or less bewildering. Sean wasn't a great Marvel comic book fan, he was more of a Micheal Vey fan. That being said, he was a Marvel movie fan, meaning he knew what was going to happen in the movies.

The only reason that he knew about his heritage towards Hydra was because he himself was ALSO a Hydra agent.

What made him different from other Hydra agents was the fact that he somehow had powers. Well said powers, from what the other Sean knew, were psionic technically speaking.

Another bit of important information was the fact that he was currently on the job for Hydra. So he was more or less hunting someone down and infiltrating their life to determine if they be threat or asset. Said target's name was Nadia Trovaya, the estranged daughter of Hank Pym. Sean's mission is to get Nadia to trust him and to use her inherent intelligence. Hydra was already aware of Hank Pym and his other daughter Hope, they were hoping to kidnap Hope and use her intelligence through brainwash. When it was revealed that Hope didn't inherent her father's intelligence, Nadia was the next best thing.

Sean, or rather the other Sean, had already made contact with Nadia. So far he was right on course for the mission, that said with the current Sean having been put in this body. The question of if he should interfere with the timeline so early came into question.

'Wait a second, if I'm in the movies universe doesn't that make me...fictional?' Sean thought, about to start having an existential crisis. That lasted after a few minutes before he heard a cell phone ringing. Sean turned towards his nightstand and found the most powerful weapon in the universe.....a fucking NOKIA!

With a smirk, Sean approached it and saw it showing Nadia's name. With great reluctantance, he answered the phone to hear a young woman's voice on the other side.

"Hey Sean!"

"Ms. Trovaya, to what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call?"

His response seemed rather formal, then again he was going by the previous Sean's memories.

"Always so formal, anyway I was calling to make sure you remembered to come by my place."

"I remember, don't worry I'll be there in the next hour or so."

Sean reassured, getting a sigh of relief from the other side.

"Alright, I'll see you when you get here, bye!"

Before Sean could return the goodbye, she hung up on him. Though it didn't get to him since he was still getting over the fact that he was a fictional character.

At that moment was when he got a theory rolling in his mind. Sean Grace doesn't exist, whether it be in the main MCU timeline or the Agents of Shield one. Because from what he's seen in the previous Sean's memories, he was fully capable of taking on Captain America and winning that bout if he played his cards right. He was trained similarly to a Navy Seal, Spetznaz, SAS, Japanese SFG, and finally Dutch Commando Corps. So basically Sean's current body was practically made for delivering death upon anyone who made themselves a threat to him.

Sean sat down on his bed and began to try and think rationally. He was slowly but surely getting over the fact that he was a fictional character. There was no way to make himself a bigger than life character if someone was watching his life or reading them. That in itself makes him a forth wall breaking character just by knowing that fact.

As the young man sat there, he began to run scenarios. He was a Hydra agent, and due to his knowledge of the MCU up to Shang Chi, he knew what was going to happen. The problem was what would happen if he changed anything, or if he was actually able to change anything significant enough for it to be a problem?

He was estatic that he had powers sure, but the idea of himself being in a world where all it would take is a bullet to the head would kill him was terrifying. He may have Psionic abilities, but that did not mean that he was bullet proof. In other words, any lucky thug could blast him in the face if he wasn't careful.

With a slow inhale and exhale, Sean rose to his feet and moved to his apartment's bathroom. He was going to take a shower, try and wash his worries away, despite them continuing to mount up. Several minutes later he was well into his showering, thinking upon what he could do to get out of Hydra's sphere of influence. He knew that they were a sinking ship at some point, and be didn't want to be sinking down with them. Of course the idea that he could have been brainwashed came to mind, then the thought was kicked out as sudden as it came.

Psionics didn't seem to be the only powers that he had. He was capable of telepathy in some regard as well. The reason he knew this was because he was hearing a thought from his neighbors upstairs doing the duty while talking on their phone. He would have thought that they were just loud, except their voice sounded like it was right in his ear. A normal person would have freaked out, but for Sean being inside of this body, he seemed to have gained the previous Sean's mannerisms.

As Sean finished showering, he moved towards the mirror in the bathroom to get a good look at himself. Wiping away the fogged up mirror, he found a pair of hazelnut brown eyes staring back at him. His dark brown hair reached past his ears and drenched from his showering. Sean's body was built like an Olympic athlete, he wasn't entirely sure how long it took to have this body but he wasn't regretting being in it.

His original body was chubby, he ate Doritos and drunk Mountain Dew alot. His best exercise on a good day was walking to his front door to get ordered food from Doordash. His hair was also dark brown but longer, eyes being the same color, and a chubby baby chin.

"Alright, let's go on the date."

Sean said, taking notice that his voice sound like a deeper version of Jensen Ackles. He wasn't thinking that was bad, but it was an interesting thing to note. Not long after, he turned and walked out of the bathroom, quickly moving to get himself dressed.

-------------------------------(How Timeskips Will Work)----------‐-----------

An hour later, he was standing outside a house in uptown San Francisco, California. It was roughly three o'clock P.M. in the afternoon. The house that Nadia was staying in seemed reminiscent of the one in Stuart Little. He didn't think too much about it, though the memory itself was quite a fond one.

Sean rung the doorbell, waiting for Nadia to come and answer it. He could hear footsteps running towards the door, for a moment he tensed. Then relaxed as he remembered that he was suppose to be playing the part of her online friend. It was similar in a way towards Bruce Banner, and that Mr. Blue guy.

Sean watched as the door swung open revealing a young woman who was almost half his size. She stood a good five feet eight inches, her skin being pig pink, hair a light brown as well as trimmed to fit her style. The attire that she wore was a blood red loose fitting sleeveless blouse, a black chocked around her throat, deep sea blue slim pants, and a pair of black and red Nikes. If Sean wasn't mistaken, she was trying to impress someone today with that outfit.

'Thank God she's over twenty-one, otherwise the FBI would have gotten me." He thought relieved

Nadia gave him a once over, taking in Sean's attire with a smirk. He had on a white t-shirt, olive white skin, a light brown leather jacket that looked like it was made for a biker, black Carpenter pants, and a pair of black Tim's to go with them.

"Looking good", Nadia complimented, "But if you wanna get me to date you, you're gonna have to try harder than that."

The woman's accent was more apparent now. It was a mixture of Caucasian and Hungarian, though with more of the Hungarian side showing.

"Likewise, if you plan on wanting me to date you that is."

Nadia rolled her eyes at him then moved aside so that he could enter. Once he moved past her, Sean took a look around the foyer that he was in. A pair of stairs leading upwards towards a second floor, everything just shouted at him that this was Stuart Little's house.

"So, you ready?"

"Yeah, just taking in the environment."

"Come on."

Nadia started to guide Sean towards the living room. Within it was quite a few things from books, game systems, and even an early flat screen TV. Well, a Panasonic TV to be specific about it.

Nadia gestured towards a large couch that was pointed towards the TV screen, showing him where to sit. There were already glasses of red wine prepared for the both of them.

"Well isn't this fancy, you pulled out the wine."

"Oh shush, you had me drinking that disgusting Corona Beer!"

As soon as she yelled that at him, Sean snapped his head at her and pointed at her.

"Don't you go disrespecting my favorite drink just because you can't handle it's taste."

His tone wasn't an offended one, nor was it in anyway a threat. After all, he had a playful smile plastered on his face. Nadia rolled her eyes at him once again as the both of them sat down.

"So, down to business", Nadia started to speak in a more smoother tone, "Our fist official meeting face to face, honestly I expected you to be some fat guy who wanted a fast woman."

Sean raised a brow at her before shifting a bit on the couch. He moved a leg over his like a more professional man should. "I'm sorry to deny your expectations."

Nadia shook her head before taking a sip of out of her glass. "Hardly, you surpassed them so much that you're practically eye candy to any horny girl or woman."

As soon as she said that, Sean couldn't help to tease her. "So what does that make you?"

Nadia went quiet for a moment before clearing her throat. "Like I said, let's get to know each other first before I think that you're someone I can put my lips on."

"You know failing to answer is kind of bad."

"Answering that question would be way worse."

"I don't know, I mean how you looked at me at the door seemed like I was eye candy to you."

"How about you stop teasing me and tell me about yourself?"

"Lady's first."

Nadia let out a sigh before setting her glass down on the table before them. She faced forward as Sean relaxed against the couches cushions. "I'm pretty anti social sometimes, don't have alot of friends, hell my boss even feels like that to me."

Sean listened to her speak, already knowing quite a bit of her backstory. This wasn't because he knew who Nadia was, he wasn't a comic book reader. It was because Hydra had always kept track of her and had made sure that he knew everything about her. So what all she was about to tell him was already known to him.

"So you're pretty much one of the only people that I've talked to, let alone met face to face. Everyone else were just from around the country or around the world. Honestly? I'm really glad that you lived nearby, living alone is so...well lonely."

That last word struck a cord in Sean's heart. In his previous life, he himself lived alone. His family never visited unless he was injured, none of his friends were around to talk, and lastly, he was way more antisocial than Nadia here. He had alot of resentment within himself that had never been unleashed before.

"So!", Nadia raised her voice, trying to change the subject, "What about you pretty boy?"

Sean smirked, before taking a sip from his glass now. "Well Ms. Trovaya, I'm pretty much an average guy who works on bikes."

Nadia stared at him intently, waiting for him to continue as she had an ensnared smile plastered on her lips.

"I mean, I ride a Ducati, so I have to make sure that it doesn't mess up on me. Not alot of mechanics are around to fix motorcycles, and bikers drive around knowing their bikes or needing real experts to fix it for them. Especially when they don't have the parts."

Sean paused on speaking once he realized that Nadia had leaned a bit closer from her place on the couch. "This probably sounds pretty boring since you don't know anything about bikes."

She shook her head as her smile grew more. "No, it's not boring!"

"I've had nothing but you and my online friends to keep me company in this house. You talking to me about something that you love doing is a very, VERY good change of pace!"

Sean seemed a bit taken aback by her, though it did make him give her a slight grin. "Well I'm glad that you're enjoying my talk, maybe I can teach you a few things whenever you plan to ride a bike."

Nadia tilted her head to the side as she finally relaxed back against her couch. She had a hand holding her head up as she gazed at Sean. "Well maybe if you could convince me to buy a motorcycle, then I'd be more inclined in learning how to fix it."

"Deal!"

Just like that, Sean Grace and Nadia Trovaya began to talk. Sean with his expertise on mechanics for motorcycles, and Nadia on her job. The job that she was referring to was being in charge of a branch company of Stark Industries called, Trovaya Inc.

Granted, it was a fledgling company that had little to do with Stark Industries. That said, it's main purpose was to focus on medical sciences. So far Nadia has made progress by making something that could theoretically stunt the growth of Cancer. If she was able to finish this project, she would not only be hailed as a hero, but also being awarded quite the sum of money. Though the bit about being hailed as a hero was more important to her than the money.

Sean knew that Hydra wanted some knowledge of her secondary project, Pym Particles. It had come to their attention that despite her more approachable behavior currently. Nadia had a secret, one that she shared with an Elite Shield agent. That agent being, Natasha Romanoff, the future Black Widow. The only thing that connected the two were two words, Red Room.

Sean was kind of hoping that Nadia hadn't gone through the same procedure as Natasha. After all, if the two of them actually do end up dating, then they may have to do the deed. Then again, if she was actually considering the idea then he may not have anything to worry about.

"Alright, now that we've got that out of the way", Nadia stated while finishing her glass of wine, "I'm pretty sure we both know that it's a bit too early to start a relationship, so give me at least three months to consider it. Look, I like you I really do but I'm a little nervous about dating someone I hardly know."

Sean nodded, understanding where she was coming from and slowly stood from the couch. "No problems, gotta be cautious in the world we live in."

Nadia rose to her feet as well, their conversation had made the passing of time pass by alot easier. It was now six, thirty P.M.

"That said, a yes or no would be good after three months."

"I know, just give me some time to think about it."

"Of course, and please do call more often, I like talking to you."

Sean's words seemed to get to her as a warm smile curled their way up her lips. She nodded her head once and walked him to her front door. After saying their goodbyes, Sean was already getting on his Ducati and about to speed off down the street. With his helmet on, he drove off, using his previous self's memories to drive the bike.

Now with Nadia out of the way for the time being, he needed to continue planning.

'So I'm a Hydra agent, a respected and trusted one at that since they know about my psionic powers', he thought, 'If the other Sean's memories were right, then that means I'm pretty rich and have quite a few resources at my disposal. I need to train myself, because I feel like there isn't a limit to what I can do. Especially with those telepathy powers, I need to learn how to turn it on and off so that I don't read someone's mind while they're having sex. Next thing that I should do is build a base away from society so that I don't get put on a Black List for being Hydra.'

As those thoughts raced through Sean's head, he realized a very important fact that he had missed. The Sean Grace before him was married and his wife was looking for him!

"Well shit..."
