Just a few hours had passed and Hinata had basically got the hang of the Taijutsu technique. Hinata had managed to easily learn what her father taught her and Hiashi wasn't exactly surprised. It wasn't that Hinata was a super genius in term of comprehension that she managed to quickly comprehend the technique. It was just that the physical aspect of the technique was actually pretty easy. The most difficult part of the Gentle was actually the chakra aspect because it required one to have insane chakra control. Only Hyugas could freely use it because while Jr wasn't mentioned, chakra control basically comes free for them as a bonus for possessing the Byakugan.
The physical aspect of the Gentle Fist, was actually just sacrificing force behind your blows and focus all of your power in pushing your speed to the max. That was why Hyugas could actually go that fast.
That leaves them with one weakness though which was that even a Genin could punch harder than Hiashi. But no biggie, the Gentle Fist doesn't rely external force to deal damage. Instead, it heavily relies on the injection of chakra to the enemies body to either block off their chakra points or just straight up deal internal damage. While it wasn't the strongest Taijutsu technique as the Hyuga clan claimed it to be, it is still a very fearsome technique and Hinata was happy in learning such an awesome technique.
For the rest of the day, Hinata happily trained in the Taijutsu technique and she didn't even need to rest because she found out that her stamina was basically endless. It was then that she learned of another feature her chakra had as a result of transmigrating, and that is, it is infinite. She couldn't explain how that was possible and neither could Hiashi, so they both just accepted it and instead, took full advantage of it. Hinata, inside her head, just accepted it as some transmigrator bullshit.
...
The next few days, Hinata was allowed to go out again but had to return shortly to continue her training. Hinata didn't really know what to do when she's not training so she instead decided to check if his new cute chubby friend was at their agreed spot if they wanted to meet.
On the way there, she decided to stop by some snack shop and bought chips again with the money she asked for before going out. Fortunately, just a measly D-ranked mission could pay for a huge amount of chips and well, D-rank missions were abundant so her parents couldn't be more happy to spoil their daughter a bit.
Soon, she arrived at their agreed spot, which was just under the shade of a big tree which was good for picnics. It was also in a secluded part so it was guaranteed that there won't be any annoying disturbances. Hinata looked over and indeed saw Choji who was lying down on the ground. What surprised her was that there was another boy who was lying down beside him and the two were just watching the clouds together.
Walking a bit closer, Hinata finally recognized who it was judging from his black pineapple hair, lazy appearance and the fact that he was willing to hang out with Choji. The boy was Shikamaru Nara.
"Yo"
Both boys instantly look over to the source and when they saw Hinata, they both had differing reactions.
"Troublesome, what's a girl doing here. I thought this spot was hidden.", says Shikamaru.
"Ah, it's you! I-I forgot to ask for your name... ", Choji says shyly before scratching the back of his head. Shikamaru watched his actions with raised eyebrows before glancing back at Hinata and then nodded in understanding.
Hinata just chuckled seeing both of them and said, "My name's Hinata. Bout you, I also don't remember asking for your name."
"Ah, I'm Choji Akimichi."
Hinata then turned to look at the other boy and said, "Bout you, pineapple head."
"Tch, troublesome girl. My name's Shikamaru Nara."
"Well, nice to meet you Choji and Shikamaru. Anyways, I brought some snacks.", Hinata says and Choji's face visibly brightens up at the mention of snacks. Shikamaru just glanced at the snacks and said, "No thanks, I'd rather watch the clouds."
Hinata once again chuckes and just threw a bag at Choji who quickly caught it, opened it and started munching away. Disregarding Shukaku's words a while ago, Hinata then also threw a bag at Shikamaru. The boy just glared at her and was about to put down the bag when Hinata said, "Oh come on just accept it. Besides, it's always more interesting watch something while eating. I preferably like eating chips paired with some cold drinks."
A thoughtful expression then appeared on Shukaku's face as he contemplated on Hinata's words and in the end, he accepted and said, "Makes sense." He then laid down, opened the bag and started munching away. Choji also went ahead and laid down beside him and continued watching clouds together while eating chips this time. Hinata took a bag of her own and laid down beside the boys and also started munching.
And just like that, without much words, a friendship had been formed between the three children and although they didn't do anything aside from eating chips and watching clouds, they enjoyed each other's company.
This was especially so for Hinata who was already mature for her age. She originally found it hard to make friends with kids her age because they're too energetic and annoying for her taste but with these two, she enjoyed their company. Shikamaru was already more intelligent than many adults from her original world while Choji wasn't as annoying and whiny than most kids.
