It's been a week since I've regained my mind. I don't feel the pain any more so I had told Ash that we can now go on our trip. I'm currently packing my bags.
' Mike. Bring that cup.' I told my son pointing at the cup by his right. He then pointed at it then looked at me, meaning I should pick it myself. I went over and took the cup then used it to push his head lightly. He then started fake-crying. This boy will not kill me. I then went to his side repeating my action again but this time going to the living room laughing, silly boy.
In no time he followed me down the stairs hit me and started calling mommy, running around. We spent our afternoon chasing each other around packing long forgotten. Being with Mike makes me forget almost everything. He is my miracle child that the Moon goddess miraculous saved. He was said to be a miracle because I fell from a very high place when I was seven month pregnant, and nothing happened to him except that he born prematurely. I was unconscious for three months with no one but Ash to look after him. Ash took care of him despite the fact that he doesn't know us, which is why I owe him my life.

When Ash got back, I was already dressed. We had earlier planned to have dinner with the Alpha for the last time , since we were finally leaving tomorrow. The Beta and his mate also be there. The Alpha, Drake, his Beta Conner and Ashley who is the Gamma have been friends their whole life. We, the girls too formed our own squad, the only difference is that I'm not Ashley's mate.
Having put Mike to sleep, I went downstairs to meet Ashley who was already waiting by the door.
' Let me give Risa a call, so that she will come and look after Mike, then we will be all ready.' I said to Ash who nodded smiling. I gave Risa a call telling her to come over that we are leaving already. Clarissa is one of the members of the pack that I've warmed up since I got here. She is a very nice girl and she loves Mike. She was so sad when I told her were going to be gone for a while. She suggested that she could stay with Mike while we we are out for dinner. I instantly agreed because I didn't want to bring him along.
The moment Risa arrived, we made our way to the Alpha's. It is five minutes drive from our place but I told Ash that I needed to stretch my legs so we walked.
We walked hand in hand across the street, with cool breeze blowing my mid length gown a little higher. I really love night walks, with the moon and the stars high up in the sky and cool breeze that cools the mind, it's the perfect time to take a walk.
Within fifteen minutes we got there and rang the door bell. Mel, the Luna, was the the one who opened the door immediately pulling me in for a hug.
' I'm going to miss you a lot. Who is going to be the peacemaker when me and Dara'. She said pouting.
' You've just got to learn not to fight each other anymore' I said as we made our way to the dinning room where Drake, Conner and Dara were already seated.
' Why didn't you come earlier? We could not start dinner because Mely here said we can not eat till you arrive.' Drake said playfully glaring at Ash and I.
' Sorry for making you wait, Alpha.' I said curtsying. I intentionally called him by his title knowing that annoys him. He usually says that when his friends call him that it makes him feel like an old man.
He just glared at me probably tired of correcting me. We sat down and dinner was served. All my favourite dishes were served. The main dish was rice and beef chili which was and others which I don't even remember their names as I tasted the heavenly goodness. Hallelujah, God bless the cook! I'm a foodie? I know. I mean food is life.
'The food was beautifully cooked'. I said as Chef Ramsey would say. Everyone on the table got the reference because we girls loved watching 'Hells Kitchen'. Everyone just laughed.
After dinner, we all went the garden reminiscing about the past three years I've been year. With everyone saying the things they will miss about me and repeatedly saying we should find whatever we wanted to find quickly so that we can return ASAP.
With midnight fast approaching we decided to go back home. Yeah, that's how long we spent there, since it was the last time we would get together for a long time. Since we didn't bring the car and I was damn tired, Drake borrowed us his car and said we could use it and return it tomorrow before leaving. The moment we got into the car, I fell asleep.
I felt Ash carrying me from the car and I opened my eyes slowly.
'Sleep, I will take you to bed.' He said to me gently. I closed my eyes back and open it back when we got to the room because I could not sleep until I set my eyes on Mike. I saw him still sleeping on the bed with Risa by his side also fast asleep. Ash put me down, and I pulled Mike closer mumbling a sleepy goodnight to Ash to which he replied smiling with something I couldn't decipher shining in his eyes. And then I joined my son in the dream world.

Today is the D-day. The day that had refused to come earlier than this. I thought as I rolled the last of my travelling bags to the trunk of the SUV.
I saw Ash who had earlier gone to return Drake's car back to him. We were still going there to bade them farewell but since I couldn't drive because I kept on stalling the learning process, he had to take their car back to them first before coming to get us. Not without complaining that it would have been easier if I learned how to drive a car. But I've always felt some kind of fear behind wheels, I really know why. Maybe the reason is part of my lost memory.
' I told you not to carry the bags that I was going to carry it when I got back.' he said as he helped me lift the bag properly in the trunk.
' I didn't want to be useless.' I said walking back inside to carry Mike that was still sleeping. He sure sleeps a lot.
I got Mike and we entered the car and sat in passenger's seat since I had to carry a sleeping Mike. After he made sure we were comfortable, he started the ignition and made his way towards the Alpha's mansion.
When we got there, our friends had to come and greet me in the car because Mike
was on my lap. After alot of crying and promises to call everyday we were finally allowed to leave. On a tedious journey of discovery.
