Chapter 50: Chapter 50: The Ending to Our Love Story

Remi’s POV

Gray’s voice replaying the words ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’ kept me from falling asleep. What did he mean by that? Is he coming all the way to Texas to see me? But that would be impossible because he doesn’t know where I live.

I groan and roll to my side, looking out the window beside my bed, watching the sun slowly begin to rise in the distance. My head is aching, and my eyes are begging for me to close them, even for thirty minutes, but I know if I do, all I’ll be able to see is Gray’s face.

I’m still trying to process his acceptance speech from the night before. Does this man really love me? Or does he think he loves me because he thinks it’s the only way to win me back? I want to believe that he truly does love me because it can change everything.
