I can't keep my toes from bouncing on the floor. My hands are sweaty and steepled in front of my face, while I wait for them to open the envelope. 

The presenters' plastic faces both stretch into equally plastic smiles before reading the card that was plucked from the envelope. 

"And the Grammy for Album of the Year goes to– Deadly Nightshade for The Rest is Silence!!"

Shooting out of the fancy rented chair, my body full of electric excitement, I turn to face my fiance whose face is a picture of shock and excitement. It took her a moment for it to register that her band's name was just called because I was out of my chair before she was. That's because I was expecting the win. I knew they had it in the bag.
