Chapter 25: No one can stop the protagonist
Azalea didn't have many people she could call friends. There were very few people who truly cared for her and loved her without wanting anything in return. One of them was her mother who died when Azalea was young due to illness. There on forward her only support was her dad who also one day mysteriously died, leaving her all alone. She never cried after that day and closed all her feelings inside herself. But soon the feelings which she locked behind will slowly but soon be pried open by someone.
The note left on the table was simple and short but it had a very deep meaning for someone,
"Eve,
There is breakfast in the fridge, and don't forget to heat it up before eating. There are also some medical supplies by the table in case you need it.

Evelyn was shocked and confused at first after she read the note as she thought of the all the reasons why someone like him would do something like this for her. 'Why would he even do something like this?' 'Why is he not questioning me for leaving in the middle of the night?' 'Why would he even prepare breakfast for me in the first place?' 'Doesn't he care that I am here to spy on him and then possibly kill him?' These questions were popping in her mind.
This was the first time in many years that someone really cared for her after her father's death. This maybe a small gesture as of preparing a simple breakfast but it meant too much for her. She didn't understand what she was feeling right now and just scoffed it off before saying, "What a weird fellow." If someone looked closely they could see a small arc on the corner of her lips.
On the other side, Lin Hao was discharged from the hospital two days ago and now was sitting in a huge chair looking outside the glass wall and facing the back of his chair, there was standing a middle aged man. The man had a mediocre appearance and judging from his expensive looking formal attire, he must be a big shot. Despite all this he had a humble look when facing Lin Hao.
Lin Hao turned his chair and glanced at the middle aged man directly. The man took a flattering posture as he stated, "It could be seen from senior brother Lin's temperament that he is a dragon and phoenix among men and the only one worthy to truly be accepted by master."
Lin Hao listening to his flattery smiled inwardly as a wretched smile bloomed on his face as he finally saw a familiar scene. The middle aged man was frightened seeing that evil smile but it soon changed back to admiration.
{This should be the respect a person should have when meeting the Dragon King.}
"My master mentioned you once and asked me to meet you if I needed any help." Lin Hao this time properly looked at him. The man eyes shined in respect in awe after he heard the word "master". He couldn't help but exclaim, "Master mentioned of me! Senior brother whatever help you need this Shan is here to help you. I can only repay this way after all the help I received from master."
The man was named Weng Shan and he was the owner of Hubing Cosmetics. He was influential figure in the business circle of Yanjing as his companies was one of the top companies in the city. He was not always this rich and powerful but was a small businessman who just started a small company. Thirty years ago, when he was new to the industry, he travelled all around the world to search for opportunities to expand his business further.
There he got into an caught in a civil strife and got kidnapped by local militia. He had lost all his hopes and waited for his end to come. In the end nothing of that sort happened and instead he was saved by a man and was taken to his sect for treatment. A lot of things happened after that and he returned back to his homeland after few years of worshipping the sect.
He was just accepted as a outer disciple at the sect due to his lack of talent. He still worked hard to gain some knowledge about herbs and medicines, which would later help him establish his company further. It took more than twenty years for him to reach where he is now but he still has respect and admiration for this person for his life saving grace. Now after knowing the same person had a personal disciple, he had the same level of respect for him.
If Lin Hao asked for his company now he would give it to him with open hands. Lin Hao also understood the fact that the other person was a firm believer of his master. He already had planned out how to fully extort him but now he had other plans to complete.
"Okay now provide me with a nice place to stay and also a car. Also make me the vice president of your company." Lin Hao nonchalantly stated his demands as if talking about something insignificant. "I'll arrange a nice villa for you soon and for now you can take my car keys. The contract papers will soon be sent to your villa." Wang Shen didn't even bat an eye before giving of his car keys.
Lin Hao was impressed by his act and as he started to walk out of the office he said in a authoritative way, "Don't forget to fire those security guards who tried to stop me at the entrance, and also that ignorant secretary of yours." Then he closed the door and drove away in his new car. Someone trying to stop him was a unforgivable sin and cannot be left unchecked.
So who were these unlucky security guards? Lets go back half hour earlier, Lin Hao was standing in front of a huge building being blocked by the security guards, preventing him to enter inside. Why was he being blocked? The answer was simple as he simply tried to enter the building without having authorization or an prior appointment. When being asked the reason for entering he simply stated, "I know the owner of the company."
Further more he didn't have any identification card with him for verification. Lin Hao started shouting further when not allowed inside, This attracted the attention of others.
The security guards had a simple job to do and that was not let any unauthorized or suspicious person to enter the company premises. After all its a big company, who knows who might wanna enter inside with ill intentions or to spy on company trade secrets. The security can't allow just anyone can it? The company policies also didn't just allow any non-employee personal to enter without identification and clearance.
If a non-employee or outsider wants to enter, they must make an prior appointment. Whomever they wanted to meet and whatever kind of task they might have had, they first had to get an approval. The security guards will be notified accordingly and will be allowed to enter, once their identities are verified.
Lin Hao was wearing a floral shirt, baggy pants along with slippers. From no angle he looked like a good person. When the guards heard he knew the owner they hesitated at first but decided to inform the higher ups seeing a crowd started to gather due to the commotion but in the end they got no response.
"Let me call and make you guys realize who are you trying to stop from entering." Lin Hao waited for all this to transpire after which he finally called the number which his master gave him.
Not even few minutes passed after the call ended and a middle aged man came running down toward the entrance shocking all the bystanders enjoying the show. This person was none other than Weng Shan. The security guards where more shocked that the hooligan looking guy actually knew the owner of the company. This created a uproar in the company that the owner himself went to meet someone.
Now Lin Hao could have called earlier before coming and not created so much of a ruckus. Getting an appointment before meeting someone, whatever status you may have is considered to be an etiquette. This way the other person is also informed and make arrangements accordingly for you. But how could the protagonist do this.
The sole purpose of not informing before coming was to pretend to be coercive. If you don't do this how could you be the protagonist. Attracting hate knowingly then trampling your haters by showing of your noble status is one of the requirements for being a protagonist.
