Chapter 24: it's simply just another day in Gotham City
I was walking down the street wearing average clothes and watching average video on my average phone.
one would simply wonder why. a endlessly powerful entity be doing something so average.
well it's simply because I missed it.
I miss doing normal things like watching YouTube videos and just walking the streets minding my own business.
or just sitting down on a chair in the park looking out the scenery as children run by playing with their friends.
normal things like that just brings back a little bit of humanity I've lost over these millennials.
and so as I was still walking down the street holding up my new phone that I recently bought with the money I gained from my job.
a building suddenly ripped in half and was levitated to the air pointing at my direction.
the building was send towards my location at high speeds.
my eyes glowed as I teleported away from the chaos.
I landed in the park where I was previously.
and I noticed that I was sitting down on the chair holding the same drink I was drinking while I was there.
I got up throwing my drink in the garbage canned.
only for the ground around me to turn murderous and try and kill me.
spikes were literally protruding from the ground and trying to kill me.
"only one person could be doing this"
my eyes turned pure black as I appeared in front of somebody's face.
Tori.
and she was standing there with her usual glowing eyes red with anger,
"I won't let you get away this time I will have my—"
"oh my god when will you stop I killed EVERY single one of your family member so what they were bound to die anyway even if I didn't do anything"
"when will you learn to let go of the hate"
"NEVER"
"I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE"
"really an how exactly"
I said mockingly looking at the angry woman.
she seems to pause at my answer.
"short answer is you can't remember last time what happened"
(flashback)
"FINALLY hahaha"
"YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE INVINCIBLE. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE IMMORTAL"
"BUT NOW LOOK WHO WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH"
Tori raise up her hand as she created a literal meteor in the sky as she plunges her hand downward sending the meteor down to kill everybody.
"wait hold on if you let that meteor hit the city you're going to kill everybody"
I said casually.
"that is the point we will all die here and now"
"TORI"
was all I could say as the meteor hit the city creating a ginormous explosion that destroyed half of Gotham City.
just as a destruction happen reality shift once more in the entire city and world was returned to how it was before the meteor destroyed the city.
"huh wait what what happened"
"why am I still here"
then Tori turned around and saw me standing there unharmed undamaged and totally alive.
"ooh that was some great acting I just did"
"you should really consider doing a movie with me we would be great actors I'm the villain and you're the hero"
"what are you doing here"
Tori said holding back her anger.
"remember what you said prior to when you were going to 'kill' me"
and then as if a recording was played again Tori began to see the exact same thing that she said before the meteor hit the sea and killed half the population.
"YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE INVINCIBLE. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE IMMORTAL"
Tori covered up her mouth in shock.
"about the part if I start I was immortal yes I am immortal and two I am invincible"
Tori's face redden in anger. and she opened her mouth letting out a volcano worth the fire towards my direction destroying who knows how many houses and killing who knows how many people.
obviously I was standing behind her unfazed.
teared and destroyed itself at an attempt to kill one man.
'which was me'
only for reality to be put back together by the same entity that you was trying to kill.
"you know what play time is over"
the man said as he ran towards the angered woman and grabbed her by the head.
then the same man snapped a woman's neck and summoned a sword only the cleave the woman's head straight off.
are protagonists nudists wouldn't kill her but it would at least immobilize her until she can reform a new body.
after all she did kind of make herself as a mortal as I did.
(flashback end)
"see I am literally immortal and invincible how are you possibly ever going to get that revenge that you want so badly"
"I- I"
"I'LL FIND A WAY"
she yelled as she looked at me with that scene crazed obsessed killing smile that she always had.
the tall buildings and houses began to morph and shape giant people all having giant clubs axes or any type of weapon that can kill in their hands.
then Tori disappeared laughing and maniacal laughter that seems to vibrate in the air.
"I'll just leave this a Superman and Batman and Wonder woman to care of"
I too disappeared going to another side of Gotham City.
after all these attacks that I've been getting from Tori was simply just another day in Gotham City.
however when I appeared in that other part of the sea I noticed a blurring figure which was the flash Wonder woman and the Justice League in general going off towards the direction of the Giants.
meanwhile civilian screamed in the distance as they were being killed and devoured by the Giants.
I walk calmly away from the chaos like how I always do only for me to hear a loud woman's voice.
"YOU THINK I WOULD LET YOU GO THAT EASILY"
then she appear again in front of me and kick me straight in the face.
I flew towards the direction of one of the Giants and smashed straight into the Giant turning him into nothing but mist of blood.
I crashed on the beach shoreline unaffected by the punch.
then she appeared yet again beside me preparing to punch me.
but I was ready for this and stop time around the entire universe.
can I simply brought back her dead boyfriend to life and put him in front of the punch in his lower body strong enough to resist her punch but his head would be obliterated when time starts.
after doing that I started time again and what happened is something I would never forget.
time started once more and Tori with anger filled eyes punched her boyfriend in the face exploding his head.
his head flush right out of his neck as blood was practically gushing out of his neck.
Tori stopped right on her track and she realized what she have done.
she just killed her boyfriend all over again.
"hahahahahaha"
is my response to her tearing up looking at the rolling head of her already dead boyfriend.
"you just killed them all over again I brought him back to life to calm you down but seems like you just weren't happy to see a dead guy alive again"
"man I guess you really follow your religious belief only Jesus can bring back the Dead and if someone else does that person that is brought back to life is a demon"
I said mocking the religious woman with an evil grin.
"N— NO NO NO NO NOOOO"
she screamed standing a burst of energy towards my direction with the full intention of killing me.
but I was already gone leaving the heartbroken woman there alone and just to do her own thing maybe try and advance her anger on one of those giants that she created.
oh one last thing.
I snap my finger waiting for the effects to happen.
then I felt reality breaking itself apart on a wild Hunt to find somebody with unimaginable anger.
'it seems to work' I thought in my mind.
what I just did was brought back to life all the people I killed that were important to tori.
then right story realize that they were alive and standing in front of her they were brutally killed with gunshots that appeared out of nowhere.
just to Mark the angered woman even more.
and with a message by the corpse of her dead family.
*give up give up I'm just Superior I'll kill more people important to you if you don't stop*
was all I put in the note.
I stopped my finger again bringing the woman back to where she was before she could reach me I'm teleported away this time on the moon.
and with a smile on my face watching is the Justice League take care of The last Giant that was still causing destruction.

(Arthur's POV)
"so about Tori forgivings the protagonist for his actions yeah she will need time to recover from the shock of her family being resurrected and brutally murdered in front of her and her powerless to do anything again"
"anyway you can ask me any questions in the comments about the MC and everything and I'll try my best to answer them"
