Chapter 3: Her Again

Dave pov :

I descended the stairs to the living room. Mom had been calling impatiently since earlier, asking to hurry.

The matchmaking event was to start at five in the afternoon, and it was still half past four. Mom said they shouldn't be late if they wanted to make a good impression on the rest of the family.

Arriving in the living room, Mom in her yellow dress greeted me, looking enthusiastic.

"Look at my son's perfect face, how cute my grandson will be, ouch!" Mom straightened my shirt. Looking at me from head to toe, satisfied with the results of her work.

"Obviously he followed my face when I was young perfectly." Dad laughed softly, shrugged his shoulders, acting even more proud.

"Look at his black eyes and lips, of course it's from me!" Mom did not want to lose seeing her husband who looked arrogant. Dad was handsome when he was young, but of course I was perfect.

"Look at his height, it's clearly from me!" Dad put down his newspaper, stepped beside me. We're almost the same height, but I'm slightly taller. Dad chuckled proudly, while Mom snorted softly.

I'm laughing.

"Alright, thanks to both of you." This conversation without them realizing it had become a habit, it was like that every morning.

"If you want to thank me, then give me an adorable granddaughter." Mom gently massaged my shoulder, a sign she was coaxing.

I memorized it, then she would say 'Mom's not that desperate for grandchildren, but the William family mansion is too lonely, devoid of life. Dad would just watch or read the newspaper all day. Mom also needs a shopping buddy.' A daughter-in-law meant.

I shook my head slowly, the request again.

….

The "matchmaking" family meal went smoothly as usual. The parents continued to chat, then laughed. It's not that I don't want to get married or that I don't want to have grandchildren like Mom wants, but so far none of the women have appealed to me.

Those women also want to marry me because of my good looks and money, that's for sure. Although I don't really understand the meaning of love and marriage, in my plan, I will marry when I want and only marry the woman I love.

I am Dave William, without flaws and without gaps. Being cool with women and people out there is my best attitude right now.

"Parents are always boring, aren't they?" The blonde woman took the seat next to me. She tucked her hair behind her ear in a gesture that looked made up. Taking a glass of wine slowly, trying to show her long finger, teasing the men around her.

I could smell her strong perfume, as if it had been deliberately over-sprayed. Her makeup was even too thick, but it didn't look pretty. Red lipstick color that makes the eyes hurt. Huh

"Don't try, you're making my eyes hurt!" I stared blankly at her who was about to hand me another glass of wine. Her movements stopped, her expression began to irritate.

It's boring.

I stepped out of the room, getting some fresh air. Mom and Dad are still busy talking.

This restaurant is on the second floor, only going up three more floors will reach the roof of the restaurant. I've been here once, and had dinner with work partners. On the roof should be a garden with lots of seating. The visitors who want to smoke or date couples will usually be there. Since it's late afternoon, it's probably crowded upstairs, but it's better than being in the room earlier.

TING !

The elevator door opened.

A boy with a girl in his arms, and another girl who seemed to be looking down deeply. The atmosphere looks unpleasant. Should I enter or not?

The girl in the black dress lifted her head. Our eyes met. She looked a little surprised, but quickly hid it.

"I told you, I have a lover!" The girl said flatly to the girl and guy who was with her in the elevator. The girl stepped out, walking straight, towards me.

"Do not move!" The girl stopped in front of me. I stood on tiptoe and pulled my head down a bit. Cups!

I fell silent. The girl gently kissed my lips, my eyes, and my nose. Her hands were wrapped around the back of my neck gracefully. She smiled slightly, showing her straight teeth.

"Sorry, I made you wait so long. Come on!" I was still silent, didn't say anything and avoided the slightest bit. The girl pulled my arm away from the elevator, forcing my hand to follow her

Is this the next trick? Yesterday chased me into the elevator, now drags me and even kisses me? Did mom send it?

Alright let's see your play little girl.

She stopped pulling me down the hall to the bathroom. Her hand gripped mine tightly, shaking slightly. Her body was still facing me, but I could feel her adjusting her expression.

"You....," the girl turned around, looking at me awkwardly.

I didn't notice the first meeting in the elevator yesterday, Brian was right, she has cute eyes. Small nose and lips with carrot colored lipstick. Her face is neither too round or oval. The make-up is light but looks right with her white skin tone. She probably doesn't really care about makeup. She wears a black dress, but wears sneakers as her subordinates. A mismatched mix, but oddly enough it seemed to suit her.

"You were standing there earlier, I have to choose you," the girl leaned against the wall, staring at another white wall in front of her.

Hey! So I just made an escape from the guy she was with in the elevator? And she kissed me? Wow!

"I have to go, thanks for that. I hope we don't see each other again."

Trying to go? After doing as you please me? I am Dave William. You have to know me to run away from me, little girl!

"Why play only half way through?" I grabbed her hand, pushed and locked her against the wall. Her hair covered half of her face as she kept turning her head.

"Need payment?" She looked at me sarcastically. Her breath was calm, but seemed to be holding back annoyance.

"You just kissed me without permission, and now want to leave?" I smiled sarcastically, pressing her body with my body even tighter against the wall. Yesterday this girl called me boring, heh. Let's see the real attitude of this boring man. She looked at me annoyed.

"Yes! You do have to pay for it"

I kissed her. She was silent, unmoved. Her hand struggled a little, but my hand held it tighter. Her wet lips did not resist my kiss, nor did she return.

Her eyes were closed, her breath rising and falling, starting to become erratic. She let go of her hand slowly, moving my hand to her waist. Slowly opening her eyes, she started wrapping her arms around my neck. Her lips returned the soft lips of mine, it was soft, but sweet.

"Dave!"

The girl stopped her movement, looked towards the source of the voice behind me. Mom was standing there, her phone in her hand pointed at us, taking photos. Her expression was confused. But the next second she laughed happily, then came closer.

"Gosh! It's only right that you always refuse the girls in the matchmaking Dave, it turns out that you already have a lover." Mom watched the girl beside me in amazement. Judging from our current position, it looks like a couple making out in front of the toilet hall.

"What's your name dear? Oh, you are so beautiful." Mom pulled the girl towards her, releasing her from me. The girl smiled awkwardly, looking at me questioningly.

"L-lisa, Lisa Redriguez."

"Lisa. A beautiful name matches your beautiful face. Oh my God I'm so happy, Dave why did you hide your lover from your own mother. If you're honest, I don't have to bother holding an arranged match like this!"

I even just found out her name today, how can he be my lover? Wait! Love and matchmaking? OK. I got you !

"Lisa is a shy girl Mom, I wanted to take her home but she keeps refusing," I put on a pitiful face, acting pitifully.

Mom looked at Lisa, giggling. Tidying up Lisa's black hair that kept moving as she looked down awkwardly. They were almost the same height, Lisa only slightly exceeded her. Lisa looked at me, slightly irritated.
