Chapter 25: Buying New Gear
Zoom went to his friend screen and clicked on the search button and typed 'Aizen'.
After a quick load the profile of such person has popped up with his picture and name visible while most of his details remained private.
Zoom could see that Aizen was already in a guild and in a rather powerful one, but nonetheless Zoom didn't back down now.
Zoom clicked on the add friend button before sending Aizen a message.
"I'm the archer from the group you fought earlier at the Giant's Dungeon, are interested in joining my team in three days, theres an event coming up, or maybe you can join us grind out some levels if you're free to do so." Zoom messaged.
"Rather shameless of me but hey I don't mind being carried."
After a few second a Zoom received a reply.
"Didn't expect to receive this type of message from you, I thought you were going to send me some trash talk but hey, I kind of liked how well your group played, nice teamwork, everyone supports everyone, my guild... not so much, though were a huge guild, and about your question, sure no problem, we could even go now but I'd like it to be just you and me for now, you're archery skills are worth mentioning."
"When would you like to meet?" Zoom replied.
"North Gate, 5 hours from now, i have to go im too busy." Aizen said.
"Nice! Since i have nothing to do might aswell sell my stuff first."
Zoom went to the main commercial area of the city to sell his un used weapons and armour to buy tier 3 ones.
He went over to the shop he entered last time.
"Your back, any more cores for me?" The clerk greeted as she leaned forward on the counter.
She had a slight smirk on her face as she stared at Zoom.
"Yes but only a few, weapons and armor though, i've got a load of them."
Zoom dumped all the armor and weapon on the counter which barely fit all the items.
"S*** how many do you have? Did you steal these?!" She laughed.
"That's a rude assumption." Zoom said.
'You are right though i did steal these, well thats not the correct term... I looted these... fairly.' Zoom thought.
Basic tier 1 equipment have no additional stats while tier 2 equipment gave only a measly 3 stat points on specific gear, tier 3 is where things start to go upward fast.
"With the repairs needed to get some of these to sell I'd say ninety-thousand." The clerk said.
'I don't really know the price and since tier three costs about twenty thousand a piece i can probably buy a full set with my money.'
"Deal." The two shook hands as they completed the transaction.
"Do you have any tier three equipment?" Zoom asked.
"Yes, just take a look around there." The clerk pointed at an area inside the store.
"Alright" Zoom went around the shop to the said area and picked out what he wanted.
'I need a bow, a dagger, boots, armor, and a helmet.' Zoom thought
Tier 2 equipment were nothing to be proud of as most players currently don't even have a full set of tier 2 equipment yet.
The tier 2 bow that Zoom used to wield was something he had looted and it gave him +3 on damage.
At the countless bows Zoom had picked out a black coloured bow, it's string was white which was transparent, it weighed lighter than the tier 2 bow he used before.
The stats of this tier 3 bow was no joke giving him +15 on damage with an additional 5 stats on agility and 5 on perception which costed forty thousand universal coins, one could understand and see the difference of tier 2 and 3 gear.

Quality was measurement by how good the quality of such an item was and it's quality was determined by the quality of materials used.
There were five levels of gear quality with the first one being the normal quality followed by better, great, amazing and lastly the perfect quality.
While the level of a gear was determined by the skill of the crafter, the performance of a crafter during the creation process of the weapon also had a great impact on the level of the weapon.
The enchantment level though always started off at level 1 and no matter the skill of the crafter and quality of the materials the enchantment will always start off at level 1.
The enchantment level of a gear could go up using a gem called 'Enchantment Gem', a mage was needed to enchant any gear using a enchantment gem and enchanting a gear to a higher level would give the gear a higher addition in attributes.
After picking out the bow he went over to get himself a dagger.
Initially Zoom only had a tier 1 dagger and had not looted a tier 2 one giving him no additional stats.
He was easily attracted to a black coloured dagger, it was slightly curved and longer than average.

Unfortunately the dagger's stats do not apply as long as it's not being used.
Next he easily found a set of leather armour that was designed for archers, it had a hood and cape black in colour, perfect for wandering at night, it was what Zoom needed for what he wanted to do.

Zoom had no problem with the equipment and bought them all costing him one hundred thousand leaving him with less than ten thousand.
