Chapter 2: Episode 1: Rise Of The Red Ranger (part 1)
An horrifying yet beautifully crafted space ship floated above earth. In the main cockpit of the ship, a woman sat on one of the three thrones. She was busy painting her nails with a bright red color.
"Ugh, if I have to wait one more day for this mission to begin, I'll lose it" she complained
The automatic door opened and a creature walked in and the door closed with a hissing sound
"Ugh, how long does it take for something to become operational. It's getting boring in here" The creature said
Lady Vellvin looked up from her nails.
"Tell me about it." She said "Are you sure this plan will work?" She asked
"It's a foolproof plan, nothing like what I've come up with before. Now if...no, when the second phase of the plan is completed it's only a matter of time till we take over the world" Lord Vendox said and laughed evilly
Lady Vellvin smiled.
"I like the sound of that" she said and went back to painting her nails

In a nice brick house somewhere in the woods, Dash tap rapidly on the keyboard connected to his computer. The world would probably go up in flames and he won't even notice. That's how concentrated he was.
"It can't be" he said looking at the screen in front of him
"What can't be?" Camila asked walking into the underground base their dad had built
Dash turned to his younger sister and frowned
"Weren't you supposed to be in school, like two minutes ago?" He asked
"Well, yeah but what did you find?" Camila asked
"Get to school, Mila. I'll tell you when you return" Dash said turning back to his computer "And make sure to not run away with any guy." He said
"Aren't you going to drive me?" Camila asked
"Sorry Mila, I've got something to take care of today" Dash replied
"Okay. See ya" Camila said
"Bye" Dash said absentmindedly
Camila left the underground base.
The computer gave a beeping sound and Dash drew closer to it as if to see more clearly. Sure enough, the system showed a strong energy reading in the woods
"There's something out there" Dash said. He tried to pinpoint the source of the energy
After a few more minutes, he found what he was looking for but also something he wasn't looking for.
"Is that a.... human?" Dash asked himself confused.
"The red dino spiritgems can't bound with a human"
"No way. An alien?!" Dash said.
He got up, grabbed his keys and headed out of the house.

Deep in the wood, a boy lay on the cold hard ground motionless for a while then the person stirred.
The boy slowly opened his eyes and looked straight ahead
He couldn't make out anything cause his vision was blurry.
He groaned and sat up then blinked a few times before taking in his environment again.
The blur was gone and the colors made sense. Forest green eyes scan the environment
Trees, trees, and more trees.
The ground was covered in dried leaves
"Huh?" The boy asked confused. How did he end up in the woods?
The last thing he remembered was..... nothing. He ranked his memory for anything to help him. Nothing but the fact that he wasn't human and a few things everyone knew how to do but nothing about himself.
He got up and for the first time felt something in his right hand. He held out his hand to find a red stone
"I was expecting something more useful" He said and ran his fingers across the rough surface of the stone and looked around again
"Great, I woke up in the middle of nowhere with no memories and a strange red stone, can this day get any worse?" the boy asked himself and took a step forward.
A strong wind blew past him making him stop.
He heard loud growls behind him. Slowly and carefully, he turned to see what it was

Dash parked his car a short distance from where the energy signature was supposed to come from. He got out and took out his scanner.
He didn't have to use it as he heard growls.
He took off running in the direction the sound came from

The boy turned to see horrible looking dinosaurs themed monster footsoldiers holding swords
"I think it just got worse" he said taking a step back.
The monsters growled at him.
Something tells him they were after the red stone he wad holding. Whatever they want it for can't be good right?
"You want this?" He asked them
They growled and nodded
"Come get it" the boy said clinching his fist around the stone.
The monsters growled again charged.
The boy got ready to defend himself and keep the stone safe at same time.
A footsoldier slash at him and he quickly moved away then punch the creature. He watch it fall to the ground and become unconscious.
The boy smirked and charged at the others. He kicked one on the chest sending it tumbling into two others. He grabbed one's hand which held the sword and used it to slash another
A few of the footsoldiers fires at him. The boy quickly duck escaping the blast he got back up and does a back spin kick taking out another footsoldier.
The red stone began to glow a bright red
"What the..." The boy said forgetting the creatures around him, he looked at the stone
The footsoldiers looked at each other confused tilting their head to the side. One of the footsoldiers charge at the distracted boy and raised it's sword to slash him
The boy noticed a minute too late to defend himself and his hands moved on it's own accord, holding out the stone.
The footsoldier's sword hit the stone and it glowed a brighter red sending the footsoldier to the ground.
The glow surrounded the confused boy and after a few seconds, the glow exploded to reveal another person
Well, the same person but with another outfit. A spandex suit
The suit was red and white gloves with gold trim. The boots were red. The helmet took resemblance to a T.Rex head with black opaque visor which was shaped like a dinosaur wide mouth. A gold dinosaur paw print was on the chest. A gold belt with a blaster attached to the right side and a morpher to the left side.
The new red ranger looked at his suit confused
The footsoldiers were equally confused but above earth, in the space ship, Lord Vendox had an evil smile on
"What did I just morph into?" The new red ranger said. I took out his blaster. Turning to the footsoldiers, he blasted one and watch it wall to the ground
"Phenomenal" he exclamed and with that, made his way through the footsoldiers blasting them two at a time
Some of the creatures gather and pointed their swords at the red ranger. They all blasted red energy from the tip of their swords at same time. The red ranger quickly jumped unto a tree branch
"Nice try, now it's my turn" The red ranger said and blasted the footsoldiers below him one at a time.
They all fell on the ground and disappeared in a cloud of dirty green dust
"That took care of that" The red ranger said. Before he could get down from the tree, Dash ran and stood under the tree.
The red ranger watch from above as the man looked around and held out a scanning device.
"I know you're out here!" Dash called looking around "Show yourself"
From the tree, the red ranger considered going down and staying silent on the tree branch.
He decided to go anyway. What's the worst that could happen?
The ranger jumped down, right behind Dash. The older man stiffened before recovering from his initial shock
He turned to see the red ranger
The boy tilted his head to the side trying to recognize the man in front of him but nothing.
"Can I help you?" He asked his voice monotone
"The name is Dash Lincoln. You're not from around here are you?" Dash asked looking at the red suit.
"No" The boy replied with a shrug
"Aren't you going to de-morph?" Dash asked
"I would if I remember how I morphed to begin with" the boy replied
Dash nodded in understanding
"Just say power down."
The red ranger hesitated on doing so but he felt like he could trust this man
"Power down" The boy said and his ranger suit disappeared in a flash of red light but the morpher remained
"So, what's your name?" Dash asked
"I can't recollect that piece of information?" The green eyed boy replied
Dash now looked confused. What's up with that?
He sighed. His sister was much better at interacting with strangers but the said sister was at school at the moment.
Dash decided to hit the nail on the head
"You're not human are you?" He asked. It was more of a statement than a question
"How did you know that?" The boy asked his face morphing into a shocked expression
"You're an alien." Dash said to himself but the boy heard and he rolled his eyes. "I know a few things. I can tell you if you'll come with me" he said
"Yeah, I don't think so" The boy said and began walking away
"They'll be back and you won't be ready" Dash said
The boy stopped and turned to the older man
"Who are 'they'?" He asked
"I'll tell you. Just come with me" Dash said. The boy nodded and the two walked back to Dash's car
"So, what's your name?" Dash asked again hoping for a better reply than last time
The boy thought of what to tell him as he opened the door passenger sit
"Nathan. My name, you can call me Nathan or Nate and FYI, I'm an Android not an Alien" he said and got into the car.
Dash stood on his spot speechless. A machine? How is that even possible?
Nathan stuck his head out the window
"Are you going to drive or what?" he asked Dash knocking him out of his train of thoughts
Dash got into the car and drove off. The ride back was quite, not akward, just quite.

Lord Vendox smiled evilly as he watch, from the screen in front of him, the red ranger and Dash drive off
"And so it all begins" Lord Vendox said
"I can't believe the guardian took the bait hook, line and sinker" Lady Vellvin said smirking.
"But he did." Lord Vendox said and laughed.
"General Vendicom" he called
The automatic door opened and the general walked in. He stood before Lord Vendox and his wife
"At your service, My Lord. What shall i do for you?" General Vendicom said with a small bow
"I want you to fine an alien and send him down to earth. Let's test just how strong this new powers are" Lord Vendox said
"Maybe destroy a human or two on the way" Lady Vellvin said
"As you wish" General Vendicom said and walked away.
He walked to a large room where thousand of alien monster were. The room was rather noisey as the aliens talked and laughed with each other
"Quite" General Vendicom shouted and the room became perfectly silent as the aliens turned their attention to the general
"Lord Vendox request that one of you go down to earth and shaken things up" General Vendicom said
Low murmurs travel through the room
"I'll go." One of the aliens said stepping out of the crowds
"I'll wipe the city right of the surface of earth"
"Mothun, Good. You can be a challenge for the red ranger" General Vendicom said

Dash and Nathan arrived at Dash's house. Nathan looked out through the window as Dash brought the car to a stop. The two men got out and Dash unlocked the door
"Come in" he said and they walked into the living room
"So, you stay here alone?" Nathan asked
"No. There used to be my dad but he disappeared last year. People thinks he's dead but I don't. I'm still looking for him but for now, it's just me and my younger sister" Dash said leading them under the stairs
Nathan wanted to ask how his dad disappear but decided not to push that topic
Dash opened the latch to a keypad built into the the wall. He pressed 8-9-1 on the keypad then the enter key
A hatch door leading to a set of stairs opened up
"There's a secret passway under your stairs. Cool" Nathan said as the two walked down the stairs
"You haven't seen anything yet." Dash said taking the last step into the base.
"This is the power ranger command center or base if you want." He said spreading his hands around
Nathan looked around at all the computers
"It's cool. Its..em..what's a power ranger?" he asked walking towards the long table in the center of the room.
The table had five office chairs at opposite sides and two one chair at each end. Each chair took a ranger color and the extra two were gray.
Nathan sat on the red chair at the right end of the table and Dash sat opposite him on the left side.
"What do you mean what's a ranger. The guy whom just fought off those dinotrots is a ranger. The red dino ranger." Dash said
"Okay, that answers my first question. My second question is..." Nathan brought out the morpher from his pocket and dropped it on the table in front of him
"That is a dino morpher. It's operated by a series of number codes. Centuries ago, a team of warrious used the powers of the dino spiritgems to fight off Lord Vendox and his army of alien monsters. The warrious manage to weaken them and temporary save the world. Now, Lord Vendox has awaken and he's still after the spiritgems." Dash said
"So...,that red stone I had wasn't just any stone." Nathan said
"No. That was the red spiritgem. It's too powerful to bound with a human so it bound with you to make you the red dinoforce ranger"
"Yeah, right. I don't think so" Nathan said and got up
"What? What do you mean?" Dash asked getting up too
"All of this have truly been exceptional but i'll show myself out of the door. This is all just bizarre even for me" Nathan said
"Take the morpher with you then. It's 1-0-5 to morph" Dash said
"I don't need it" Nathan argued
"Trust me. You will" Dash said
"Whatever" Nathan said picking the morpher. He turned to the exit and left the command center
Dash sighed. That didn't go exactly as planned now did it?

"Have you found an alien that will help test the red ranger's powers" Lord Vendox asked his general
"Yes my Lord" General Vendicom said
"Good. Send him down at once" Lord Vendox said
"I've been itching for some action" Lady Vellvin said sitting upright on her throne
"Right away" General Vendicom said and left the throne chamber

There was a huge explosion of fire followed by scream of fear from people whom where running away from whatever just landed
"I'm going clean this city for Lord Vendox" a creature said walking out of the smoke
It looked around at the buildings and held out his sword. The sword glow a bright orange and slashed at a building. The building exploded to nothing. The alien laughed
"This will be a piece of cake" he said slashing at another building

Nathan rounded a corner and came face to face with the monster
"Woo" he said stepping backwards
"Hey kid, get out of here while you still can" The alien said pointing it's sword at the boy
Nathan got a beep from the morpher he was holding. He opened the latch and Dash came up on
"Nathan, i'm picking up alien DNA from your area. Do you have a visual?" Dash asked
"Affirmative. It's standing right in front of me" Nathan said
"Well then what are you waiting for? Morph and get the job done" Dash said and before Nathan could argue, the screen went blank.
"Take that" the alien nodded sending an energy slash towards Nathan.
