Chapter 2: Developing 1970 (1)
Taisha just finished reading her 'information' in front of her when she felt her vision go blurred.
[Beginning dispatch...Agent 418 is being transmitted to World Matrix...]

When Taisha woke up again, she was already in a very cheap room.
This room wasn't very large and the room was shit stinky, there were no windows for sunlight to enter the room or ventilate the disgusting smell.
There were a lot of trash bags in the corners which were big as a washing machine. The floor was filled with either empty beer or alcohol bottles. Some of it was even on the bed she was on.
Lou Liab could definitely assume that this room hasn't been cleaned in years.
But, she couldn't smell the disgusting smell of garbage, something was off.
At this time a pale yellow book appeared in Taisha's sight.
It appeared directly in her hands this time instead of being in the air. Though it looked like a book on the surface, a futuristic tablet was fit inside.
Those weird symbols Taisha had been seeing from the moment she was in the white room still appeared on the tablet.
As soon as Taisha touched the tablet's screen, a pale black diamond appeared after which a series of texts were shown:

The tablet suddenly melted into one of the book's pages, with Taisha turning to the next page, some new texts appeared:

World age: Eleven years old.
Identity Status: Orphan.
Current situation: Jane Byers had successfully been chosen as 418's Host after she died from an overdose of drugs.
Reminder: Due to having no ties in this world, the Agent can play freely as Jane Byers.

Taisha started to think about what she should do.
The first thing is that her current situation is both lucky and unlucky at the same time. She has watched 'the Matrix' but this is twenty-seven years before the main event.
Now, Neo must be just a child.
From what Taisha understands, she could absolutely not join the IA's or the Revolutionaries. The IA's would erase her memories while the Revolutionaries weren't strong enough to fight against the IA's without Neo.
Taisha was only an ordinary person. Although she might be slightly more crazy than average due to killing her parents for revenge, it didn't mean she could survive a fight against an Agent.
From the "Potential A to A+" you can guess how strong this world will be in 1999.
As for her mission, "Trigger the mission". Does she need to walk the whole world now?
Taisha had a headache as a ding came from the book in her hand. It had three simple words written on it, "Agent 418, your five minutes are up."
Suddenly, the sounds of birds chirping and loud moans of men and women could be heard from the room next door.
Taisha finally understood why she felt something was off, the past five minutes, the world had been frozen.
The main characters Neo and the crucial side character Trinity and Morpheus are still stuck in this blissful world without the knowledge of the Matrix.
The Agents aren't a threat to her as she wasn't a part of any 'anti-IA' groups.
As Taisha was thinking about what to do next, she heard a scream.
Taisha finally remembered what kind of place this is, a place filled with fugitives, so she started to plan to leave this place.
She started to think of her next step, at this point, a working brain is far more important than a working body.
Taisha ran towards the door.
She put her eyes on the peephole of the door trying hard to see the situation outside.
"Fucking slut, you want to run away!"
"Bitch die!"
Taisha observed her neighbour, It was a man brutally beating a woman.
Both the woman and man were wearing thin clothes which made them nearly seem naked. Both of them seemed like the homeless desperados.
"Heh, do you think without me sleeping with him, you and Trinity could be fed? Bastard, useless bastard!"
The beating didn't stop as the woman started loudly crying again.
"With your disgusting body, how much can you earn! After I sell Trinity, I will leave this shitty place and become rich..."
Before the man could finish his words, he was interrupted by a young girl, at least an 11 years old child. The child climbed on the man's back continuously hitting him with a piece of Pepsi can.
Taisha stood behind the door without any intention to help. Both the man and child didn't seem to want to succumb to each other. Even though the girl was famished and weak looking and the man was tall and muscular.
She looked at how the man threw the young girl to the ground, smashing her with his fists.
Yet, Taisha felt no pity still having no intention of helping.
"Ding..." Taisha abruptly looked down at the texts on the new page forming in the book she was holding.
She sighed. She finally realized why the 'Ancient City' made this place her starting point.
