Chapter 11: Creeping Stranger
Maggie could be seen taking a cup of coffee when she heard the noise of a bike outside.
She stepped out the kitchen and almost immediately, the door pushed open and Silvia entered.
"You're late, did you find a boyfriend now?"
"What are you talking about?" She asked with a deep frown.
"You stayed late, two hours to get supplies"
Silvia dropped the bags in her hands and exhales.
"I ran into a little issue, my tyre got flat"
She made to walk about but Maggie held her back.
"You're not a good lier sister, you know you can't lie to me"
"Fine, I met Tara"
"Wow!, Tara, you mean our Tara Moon?"
"One and only"
Silvia picked the bottle of bourbon on the table and uncovered it.
"Did she try to kill you?"
"Typical Tara, yes and a no, blame the death of Devina on me"
"She's gonna come around, soon enough"
"It's been nine months already and she haven't, we should know beings of her kind gets destabilized by the death of their loved ones for a long time"
"Good thing she didn't kill you, not yet though"
"Tara is not an issue, Sister, i think she still got a thing for us"
"You think?"
"She says we should leave the city cos the hunters are gonna find us and we're gonna end up dead"
"Does she have her sister ability now?"
"No, No, but she's probably right, maybe the rumors are true"
"What rumors?"
"That wolves don't last 24 hours at Stardom Before they're killed"
"Here we are sister, Day 3, we're alive"
"Yep"
She gulped in the content of bourbon bottle and dropped it.
"If it came from the mouth of Devina, I'll be running my heels out of Stardom now"
"So bad she's dead now, she didn't deserve to, poor girl couldn't predict her own death"
"She predicted the Invasion sister, we laughed at her, remember, i feel guilty somewhere deep within, maybe we would have averted it"
"It's the past now sister, we're going to serve them hot, the hunters"
"Yes, I need to rest, what are you doing with a cup of coffee at this time of the night"
"I'm weird, remember?, by the way, how's your Elena girl?" She asked walking away.
"Watch your tongue, Maggie" She warned and paused hearing the snap of a branch.
Her sister was out of sight already, she turned to the window and caught the sharp reflection of something deep into the darkness.
Silvia pulled open the door and stepped out of the small bungalow which was situated at the northern end of the woods.
She was welcomed by the fresh breeze which caused her to sniff.
Yeah, fresh it was but she couldn't ignore the slightest strange scent that had found its way into her nostril.
She grabbed the revolver behind her and looked around.
"You wouldn't want to be sneaking out on me, step out before a rare bullet is deposited in that creepy body of yours "
There was no response and that prompt her to take a step forward.
A figure peeped from behind a tree and she aimed perfectly at it but paused as she made to shoot.
She slowly retreat the weapon as the figure had vanished into the darkness.
She dashed forward with one swift speed that caused the dried leaves to rustle.
Slowly, Silvia returned the gun behind her and a figure could be seen watching her from a tree.
She looked around for a while and zoomed into the darkness of the woods.
The figure stepped out and made to move when Silvia returned with a quick speed, grabbing the being tightly, they both crashed in front of the house and her eyes turned luminous red immediately.
It was a dark-skinned girl in a singlet and short.
Silvia pulled the revolver and placed it on her forehead, choking her at same time with her other hand.
"Wow!, Wow!, it's me..." She chuckled with hands raised up.
She slowly rose from her and retreated her gun.
"It's all true, the rumors, there is an alpha at stardom, oh my God, I'm so shocked it's you, Silvia, haha!" The dark skinned girl chuckled as she staggered to her feet.
"What are you doing here?, Olivia"
"Woo!, you can't even appreciate my blending with the darkness move"
"I would have shot you"
"I'm a wolf, I'm amazed by your strength"
"You haven't answered my question yet, what the hell are you doing here?"
"You're not shocked that I'm alive, we haven't seen for months"
"You ran, didn't you?, that's what you always do, you're the scared wolf"
"I had no choice, I ran immediately the first fight started and here i am, alive"
Silvia grabbed her swiftly by the throat and she gasped.
"Leave immediately or that death you escaped shall find you this time "
They heard the creaking of the door and they turned to see Maggie step out.
"Sister, who's that?"
"Maggi, Maggi, you're here too, I don't know what you two are up doing here but I heard you dropped trail of bodies already, I'm in" She announced breaking from Silvia's grip.

"Keep the change" Elena yelled at the cab man as she wore her bag hurriedly in front of the school gate that morning.
The yellow vehicle drove off and she walked briskly into the vicinity.
She shut her eyes and inhaled the fresh air in the atmosphere, it was indeed a bright morning for her.
"You look bright, today" She heard a voice and turned to see Tara who was in a red T-shirt and bell shaped skirt.
"Tara"
She stepped forward and Elena inhaled.
"I just wanted to apologize if I had scared you yesterday" She told Elena and walked away.
"Tara!"
She paused and turned slowly to her.
"The things you said about Silvia, are they true?"
Tara didn't reply as she adjusted her bag and vanished into the passing crowd.
Elena inhaled heavily and found her way into the building as well.
