After two seconds, a burst of loud shy-feminine laughter was heard, "I must say that I'm impressed you actually noticed my presence." A woman slowly materialized and dropped down gently from the ceiling. Much like a spider slowly would descend on unsuspecting prey.

"What do you mean notice?" Adria asked, "I found you hiding the moment we came out of the sewers. I just thought it was a pest. After all, you do look like one."

This insult made the woman frown, but to be fair, she did look very different and this was even by vampire standards. In fact, one could say she was very peculiar. For one, although she was quite beautiful on the face, her other features were not very defining of popular beauty standards.
