Chapter 26: Duke, I Want You

After Asher left the room, Felix sat in his chair and was in a daze for a while. He really dared to ask for something so shameless. But he was not the kind to regret his words. So he simply forgot it, not having big hopes from Asher.

"Brother...Are you there?"

Not soon after, he got busy with his work, but he heard Anne knocking on the door and looking for him. She must be there to look for Asher.

Yeah...As expected, she wanted to know if Asher informed the duke about any improvement in his health. Felix actually didn't know he took a leave. But he kind of guessed the reason and said he wasn't feeling well yet. Seemed like Anne was satisfied with his honest answer and turned to leave.

"So how did brother deal with that body?"

Felix looked at her sister's evil smile that appeared out of nowhere and stunned for seconds. Was she really gonna be evil and this heartless?

"..."

Felix chose to ignore answering. But then, he couldn't keep his silence after hearing her next words.

"I think it's better to be ready to destroy one more body. Very soon."

She said as her eyes glowed with excitement, a weird dark aura making her laugh seem evil in that innocent face like a witch's.

"Anne!"

Felix furiously hit the table and got up trying to warn her, but he suddenly found himself lost for words.

"Don't be angry, brother. I will not make trouble like the first time. Now I am all grown up, aren't I?"

She said happily, with her innocent tone. How could she change her expressions so fast? Felix was really at a loss.

"Haa. Anne, just st-!"

He didn't get to finish. Anne ignored him and opened the door, slammed it with full force closing it, leaving the room.

"You!"

Felix yelled but no one heard him. He was again alone in the room, his head throbbing thinking for solutions.

'Agh! Why is she so stubborn?! Aaagh!'

He angrily kicked the table, but soon had to focus back on his work because he had a pile awaiting to be finished. But he still kept her matter in his mind for later.

However, these days he didn't have enough time to care about other things. During the day, he would be busy and at night time, he would lose his mind. It was still the third day. There were seven more days left to end this hell this month. When it ended, he would soon focus on her. That's what he planned.

And that's what happened but in a different way. Because he was right.

Asher was the best cure for him.

The cure he couldn't find all these years.

He finally found it!

It was that very normal-looking man who he bought for his sister. He was the cure.

That night, he was in his room, the pain hitting his nerves, the desires making him uncomfortable, that heat giving him the hardest time. He didn't wait for Asher because he thought Asher would not come to him again after that weird offer. So, he already made up his mind to pass the night alone but still thinking of a way to at least find that comforting scent from somewhere.

However, Asher really did show up in front of his door.

He also had lost his mind and the only thing Asher had in his mind was the duke.

'I must reach the duke!'

When he knew the heat and the scent getting strong, Asher got that familiar gut feeling. He was going into heat again. This time, he didn't want to use candles. And he already liked the duke's deal. So he knew running to him at this time would be the best way to show his approval and get a...dick! cough! a relief for his desires...

Before he would lose the strength in his legs, he ran to the duke's mansion even when those few servants looked at him strangely. But none of them bothered to infer or stop him because they needed to run for their lives first. If Asher really wanted to disturb the duke when he was sick and got killed, then let him. They needed to save their life before others.

Asher took a deep breath, hitting on the door as if he was trying to break in, not knocking anymore.

"Duke! I...Haaa...I...can't breathe!"

Asher was terrified when he found it was hard to breathe. Maybe because he ran. He patted his chest continuously, panting, but failing to calm down as the heat and the weakness also spread through his body.

"You! Hey! Don't fa-"

When the duke opened the door, he saw Asher almost half kneeling on the floor. It was not an unfamiliar sight to him since he saw that exact same look on his face yesterday night. His face was all red, panting, clearly showing his grace for touches.

Felix couldn't deny the fact his glares looked sexy and seductive. He had a pretty face though.

He picked up Asher and dragged him in, closed the door, and locked it. After laying Asher down in the bed, he waited for a response from Asher. But he was still silently panting. But it seemed like he was not feeling that bad anymore.

"Are you okay? Did you perhaps run? Are you crazy? Why wo-?"

His words got cut again when Asher got up all of a sudden, staring into his eyes.

Both of them stared at each other in silence, failing to escape the awkwardness. However, in the end, Asher took the first step.

He silently put his hands around the duke's neck, pulling him closer. Both people's heat made them go crazy to enjoy those slightest touches and those hot breaths fell on each other's necks.

After moving his eyes away from the duke's widened eyes, Asher leaned closer and whispered in the duke's ear with his hot and low voice.

"Duke...Help me…I want you."
