Chapter 11: Year 3: Foxtrot By Foxtrot II

"Well, shit." Ela cursed as Takashi relayed his findings to them through his LINE Comm's projection feature. Ela's face was grim like everybody else's as they sat around the table.

"There is a lab indeed." Takashi said as he swiped the layout tab away and opened a new one that displayed some images and videos. The images and videos were quite visceral, photos of illegal test subjects being experimented on to outright being fed to monsters they keep in cages. "It's worse than Harran. Instead of just creating a virus, they are actively testing on zombies. There are a wide variety of zombies inside that lab and they need to be put down before something sets them free and dooms the entire world."

Takashi while alerted was relieved as there weren't any strong zombies. They were normal RE Zombies, and Biters, and a dozen of them were Degenerates.

"What about Kyle and Jade? Are they-"

"They are safe for now." Takashi replied. "The two of them have been chosen to become the test subjects of a new strain. "They are calling it Project Tyrant."

"Shit. Doesn't sound so good." Zero cursed. "What is going to be our next step."

"Attack of course." Takashi smiled. "Tonight, Umbrella will face consequences of fiddling with shit out of their hands, for the first time."

Dokkaebi, Ela, and Zero shared a look before they nodded back at Takashi. Smiling, Takashi shifted the tab and began explaining his attack plans.

"Let's familiarise ourselves with the layout of the structure from what we know." Takashi said as he switched back to the 3D layout slide as he began. "Let's start with the compound first. The distance to the main entrance of the building from the main gate is about 150 yards. The distance from the back end is similar but tapped with land mines. We aren't going to barge in from the entrance but it would be quite rad if we could but lucky for us the distance from the right side is about 50 yards."

"Yeah, but it wouldn't be easy getting in." Zero folded his arms. "The main issue is getting over the 10-meter tall electric fence. Can't use a tactical ladder considering the barbed wires on top of the fence. Not to mention even if you manage to cut the wire and get inside you would be spotted by one of fifteen guards that patrol the compound ground. The terrain is plain with no rocks or trees to hide. To make the matters worse in every four corners are watch towers with searchlights."

"Damn it. How are we gonna get in then?" Ela asked as she scratched her head. "Dig a hole?"

"That would have been a good idea if it wasn't so inefficient." Dokkaebi said shaking her head.

"Exactly." Takashi nodded. "Drilling our way in would be the same as waltzing in naked. Shoveling our way in while stabilizing the tunnel would have been our best bet if we had the time. Sadly, we do not have that luxury but, I have an idea that will work as I imagine. Anyways, I'll be taking Dokkaebi with me. Once we get inside the mission is simple, the camera will be feed custom loop footage so all we have to do is eliminate the guards on the upper floors without altering the ones below the ground. We free Kyle and Jade and then secure the security room. Good so far?"

"Plausible." Dokkaebi shrugged. "Then?"

"You and will stay with Kyle and Jade in the security room while I go down to extract the evidence and set the laboratory up for explosion and then we run for bandito before the lab blows itself sky high." Takashi grinned as he turned to Zero. "Which brings me to the next part. Zero, I'll need you to leave for Izmir and prepare our ride out of here. Grab food and fresh clothes for a good couple of days as well as medical supplies in case Kyle and Jade need one. "

"Alright." Zero nodded as Takashi switched his attention to Ela.

"Ela, you will escort me and Dokkaebi to the part of the wall you dropped me off earlier." Takashi said as Ela nodded. "You wait there as me and Dokkaebi retrieve Jade and Kyle and then we blast our way to Izmir."

"Got it."

"Good." Takashi smiled. "Any questions?"

"Umm... You still haven't told us just how we are going to get in." Dokkaebi asked and instantly regretted it as Takashi grinned like a Cheshire cat.

"We are going to fly."

"I don't feel so good."

(A/N: Mr. Stark!)

------

"I really, really don't feel so good." Dokkaebi deadpanned as Takashi grinned. They ducked on as a searchlight passed bay, missing them by a foot. Looking up, the both of them treaded slowly making their way towards the fence.

A few feet away from the fence, Takashi who was leading her raised his hand, signaling her to stop. Dokkaebi did so and watched in curiosity as Takashi retrieved a hexagonal metal plate from his bag and tossed it on the ground.

"What is this? Whoa-Mph!" Dokkaebi wasn't given much time to process her thoughts as Takashi suddenly grabbed her, quickly shutting her mouth with his hand before and lifting her over his shoulder in a show of incredible strength. Dokkaebi was surprised as Takashi lifted her easily before she began to struggle to hiss as quietly as she could. "Put me down! Can't you hear me-"

"I can hear you but I'll choose not to listen to you." Takashi replied tapping on the plate with his feet before taking a few steps back as he secured the thrashing Dokkaebi on his shoulder by wrapping his arm around her waist. The plate glowed before it shifted and expanded into a jump pad.

(A/N: Octane's Jump Pad from Apex Legends)

"Already get, the searchlight is coming again. Whatever you do, don't scream." Takashi warned and didn't bother waiting for a reply as began running towards the jump pad.

"What-Nonono! Ahh-mph!"

"Alley-oop!" Takashi cheered silently as he jumped on the jump pad, as the upper plate shifted under his weight before it launched him into the air.

Dokkaebi felt her world spin as one second she was on the ground and as soon as she blinked, the ground was far below her.

Takashi missed the barbed wires tucking his legs as he was launched into the air. Using his second hand he secure Dokkaebi so that she doesn't fall off, before shifting her into a single-hand princess carry as he retrieved his grappling hook.

Once he was over the main building, he aimed at the rooftop and shoot the grappling hook. The hook attached itself to the floor and tensed as the motor began to wind pulling Takashi down before Takashi could sail past his destination.

Takashi was pulled to the floor at an incredible pace and gravity did nothing to slow his fall so Takashi, shifted onto his back, holding Dokkaebi to his chest as he pulled a string attached to his bag.

Upon pulling the string, the bag expanded into an airbag as Takashi hit the floor. Takashi grunted in pain, the air back had absorbed most of the force but Dokkaebi's added weight almost fractured his spine in half.

"Phew~ Well, that was fun." Takashi muttered as the pulled the string once again allowing the airbag to deflate. Dokkaebi looked up, pulling her face out of Takashi's chest as he smiled at her. "You managed to not scream, huh?"

"I-"

"Good for you." Takashi nodded humming to himself. "For a second, I was worried that I would have to kiss you to shut you up."

"I... You fucking brat..." Dokkaebi cursed to herself as she shoved Takashi's chest as she pulled herself up. Dusting herself as if she had been touched by something filthy, she leveled a glare his way but Takashi could care less. "Ugh, I hate you."

"Well, seems like a you problem." Takashi shrugged as he picked himself up and cut the deflated air and pretended to shove it back into this bag as he turned it into MP. Looking at Dokkaebi he flashed her an easy smile as he walked past her and towards the rooftop door. "As far as I know, I'm pretty loveable."

"Ugh!" Dokkaebi groaned as she followed him.

Smiling to himself, Takashi shook his head as he turned serious. Entering a prompt on his LINE Comm, he hacked into the security system and began feeding them looped footage.

"Visuals are gone. Use your secondary and keep it silent." Takashi said as pulled out a pair of Tactical Tomahawks. "I'll lead, you keep eyes on opposite corners and cover me just in case."

These Tomahawks were crafted from blacked-out carbon steel. It boasted a 3.5 inches, really sharp straight-edge axe head with a nail puller at the back of the axe head that doubled down as a sharp double spike.

All in all, it looked like a pair of deadly weapons to Dokkaebi, but she was still skeptical about Takashi's actual combat abilities.

Takashi had proved himself to be a competent individual. He was a smart, intelligent guy with a knack for creating gadgets as she had learned from their conversation and seeing it now firsthand. He was also a competent spy as even Zero showed him some courtesy.

And while he is definitely stronger than a regular male his age, evidenced by the fact that he could easily lift her and survive a fall with her added weight, his actual combat competency was unknown.

While it wasn't a bad thing to have her reservations, Dokkaebi wasn't really looking forward to the situation that would unfold in case Takashi turned out to be a bad fighter.

'Well, it's too late for the second guess now.' Dokkaebi shook her head, clearing the stray thoughts as Takashi attached a coin-like device to the locked door and tapped on it. Dokkaebi watched in facilitating as the coin glowed turning hot-red as it melted a hole through the door allowing Takashi to open it with a yank.

Entering the prison facility, Takashi couldn't help but frown at its condition. The walls were chipped and mossy, the floors were filthy with dirt and dried mud stains. The railing of the stairs leading down was rusty, and the few lights that were working flickered on and off. All in all, it looked like no one has two shits about properly maintaining the place.

But that was good for them in the end.

"Advantage." Takashi muttered to himself as he slowly made his way down the stairs. They were on the second floor right now. Climbing down the stairs, Takashi gestured Dokkaebi to keep an eye on the stair that led to the first floor in case someone came up while Takashi couched and looked over to the corner to get a visual of the barely lit hallway.

Four guards patrolled the hallway monotonously, armed to the teeth as they walked back and forth. The hallway itself was almost bare with the only thing that could provide him cover was an old couch that was littered with cards and female celebrity magazines and a discarded surgeon's table in the far corner. There was no ideal way to approach this matter.

Takashi would have to make a window. Tapping Dokkaebi's shoulder he gestured for her to ready her aim as Takashi began tapping his foot. The tap was loud enough to attract the nearest guard but there was an interval of three seconds in between each tap to not alert the guard. He just need to pique his curiosity and it did.

The guard furrowed his eyebrows as he causally began walking towards the darkened corner to investigate the odd taps and as the saying goes.

Curiosity killed the cat.

The guard was like a deer caught in headlights because as soon as he turned around the corner, he saw Dokkaebi pointing her gun at his face but before he could even react or scream.

There was a movement in the corner of his eyes and he felt a sharp pain in his neck as blood flooded out of his neck and out of his mouth.

Takashi tucked away one axe as he could grab the other with both of his hands and crouched, waiting for the opportunity.

As soon as the guard turned, seeing Dokkaebi immobilized him and Takashi struck. He used the spike end of the axe and rammed it into the guard's neck. The guard began gurgling on his blood but before he could make a noise, Takashi yanked using the spike as a hook and brought the man to the ground and axed the man in the face cleaving it half and putting him to rest.

Removing the weapon from the dead man's head, Takashi flicked the blood and grey matter off his blade and blinked at the look Dokkaebi was giving him.

"What?" He asked. His question seemed to have shaken Dokkaebi out of her stupor as she shook her head.

"Nothing." She whispered as Takashi shrugged. Pulling the man back, Takashi knew he didn't have a lot of time.

"Alright, I'm gonna rush them. As soon as start running you cover me and shoot whoever turns to look at me first, clear?" Takashi instructed as Dokkaebi nodded seriously. "Alright. Ready? Now!"

Nodding to Dokkaebi, Takashi turned and began sprinting towards the three guards, brandishing his tomahawks.

"Huh? What the-" The man nearest to Takashi turned first and was baffled as he saw a Japanese 'kid' in Tactical gear rushing towards him. He wasn't given any time to process it as Dokkaebi quickly pulled the trigger.

The first bullet shot right through his neck while the second hit him in the eye and penetrated his brain.

The man fell backward like a sack of potatoes attracting the attention of the other two guards. Takashi twirled his axe and threw it with precision as the axe sailed past the guard in the middle and instead lodges itself into the skull of the guard in the far corner.

"What-Shit! Shit!-Ahh!" The last remaining guard turned on his heels but it was already too late. The guard had already whipped out his gun and was about to take a shot as Takashi slid onto his knees and attacked the man's knees cleaving them in half and rolled back to his feet as the man fell to the ground screaming in pain. His screams were cut shit as Dokkaebi silenced him with two bullets to his head.

Takashi nodded in appreciation as he turned and made his way toward the two cells.

"W-What just happened-" A man's gruff voice croaked out as Takashi peered into the dark cell. "Who... Who are you?"

"Hello, Crane." Takashi smiled as he raised his axe, aiming at the lock of the cell.

"I am Foxtrot.." Takashi smiled. "But considering I am your best bet out of this hell hole, you can think of me as your best friend."

*Clang!*
