Chapter 16: CHAPTER SIXTEEN:A Little Bit Of Seduction Was All He Needed.
The flashing lights of the camera greeted him, the moment the car stopped in front of the hall where the gala event was to be held.
Turning to his sides,his outstretched hands were covered by the soft delicate hands of his partner,May Rodriguez.
The oos and gasp that left the lips of the journalist don't go unnoticed by him, if anything he knew what tonight was all about,and how it's going to be a hot topic in all news headlines before tomorrow.
The attention was what he always seemed to grab,no matter where he was,that's the power Damien Kings had.
This was certainly the first time he had a partner,and not just anyone but the famous actress, Maya Rodriguez who was getting annoyed with the crowd.

A real man he would be tonight after the event is over,he wasn't so sure how Mata is going to take this urgent request judging from her perspective to keep things casual between them.
Of all his flings,Maus was the only person who didn't seem to have any feelings for him,that has been the secret why he favours her more than the others.
She had been the first woman to crush his ego,about how soon she was going to fall in love with him,but she had proved him wrong by keeping everything casual.

He took a drink from the server,and gave one to Maya who took it with a look on her face that meant that she's serious.
"Okay fine,I did that because i wanted to give the wrong impression out there,but honestly,I loved every bit of that and …."
"You need to stop Damien"Maya cut in,smiling at some woman who came to introduce herself to her.

She had to give her autograph to the lady before she left,and that's without trying to make Damien notice that she likes him.
But he didn't give any attention to her,rather he had his attention only on her which irritated her.
"why do i need to stop Maya?We have known each other for years now…"He tried to explain.
"Which is more reason, why you should stop acting like you are about to propose to me right here Damien, because i will walk away without staring back"She warned.
It was as if she knew what was going through his mind.

"Okay fine,I need your help Maya and it's really serious"He finally admitted,he heard James,his personal assistant clear his throat, interrupting the two .
Idiot!
Damien cursed.
He had talked it out with him,and he was the person who had suggested he tells Maya about this, and right now he's acting weird.
Maybe this was a bad idea?
"What exactly do you need my help for?"Maya asked,looking away from James who had shifted a bit to give the two some time alone.
Whatever it is that Damien wanted to say,it is really important,but why does she get the feeling that she is not going to like what it's all about?
"I need you to act as my fianceè for a day"
"Gosh no"She could have screamed,but remembered she was outside.

"Maya,just for a day please?"He couldn't believe he was here begging her for something so simple,when he had the power to get a girl who would be honored to be his real fianceè.
"Why would you think i would agree to something as horrible as that,you know i hate this Damien"She complained.
"I don't have anyone else to ask Maya"
"And the others?"She quaked her eyebrows at him.
He's such a good liar to say that he had no one else to do that for him,she could bet once he's done with this boring event, he's definitely going to have one of his constant flings riding his d****.
Rolling his eyes at how fast she could catch him lying to her, there's no trying to decieve Maya.
"Fine! I couldn't think of anyone who could do this for me except you,you are my favorite girl you know that?"He teased, rubbing her arms in a loving manner and inching up to place his hand on her sweet spot.
A little bit of seduction was all he needed to get her to give in to his demands, but sometimes she's full of surprises and he hopes that today would be different.
"Okay fine,I will do that"She said, removing his hand from her collarbone.

"So, who are we meeting?"She asked, this was a very important question that would require her putting in effort, if she was going to do as he requested of her.
Yet,she prayed it's not his mother.
Andromeda Kings is scary.
"Well…"He said, trying to find a suitable way to calm her down before telling her who they were going to meet.
