Chapter 32: CHAPTER THIRTY TWO:The Club.
She gulped the third glass of liquor down,as it burned through her throat.But she was not in any way bothered about the fact that this is the first time that she's going to the club without Kai.
She has a low tolerance of her alcohol,and that's a very high risk that she took.But she could care less what sort of problem she could cause tonight.
After all,Her grandma and Kai were always there to take care of it.If there was anything they were good at,that is cleaning up after her.
Tiana could feel her consciousness slipping right through her,and that's the alcohol taking its effect in her body but she couldn't stop.
She had drawn a lot of attention to herself,and as much as the club was busy
It wasn't hard to find such an alluring beauty like her in the midst of the crowd.
She stood out.It has always been her lucky charm,and also being a problem because she always gets unwanted attraction that she didn't find interesting.
Not at all.
If there was anyone that would come rushing for her tonight,if they were aware of her drinking alone,that one person would be Ken.
She would love having him here with her,but she's sure he's in Australia having his best time with his girl to care about her.
She couldn't and wouldn't deny the fact that she didn't have a thing, for the one closest person that she could call a best friend.
Ken had been there for her, right from highschool to college,and it doesn't really sit well with her that he's in love with some other woman who is not her.
For a starter,yes,she has a thing for him and had always known he knew that she liked him.But what would you have her do ,when he doesn't want to acknowledge the fact that he likes her too.

Yes as a friend, and not in the boyfriend kind of way.The last thing she would ever do was to be the reason why he breaks up with Lilac.
She's a nice soul and definitely not a bitch who would dwindle her face ,any time she sees her with Ken.She knew their relationship,and respected that.
And just because she's such a heartless bitch who has a thing for him,doesn't give her the right to wish that it was Ken who she is getting married to and not some gold digger.
Her grandma is such a total klutz who doesn't know that they were after her inheritance,she's not a fool not to know that no man in his right sense would want to settle down with someone like her.
No one,but a girl can dream that one day there's a possibility that she would get over this. Get over the feeling that her marriage would end up like that of her dad.

There's no inheritance for her,not even a single out of all the properties she had.
That's cruel of her to do that.She's her blood but her grandma has an absurd way of treating her family.
There's absolutely no way that she could stay in any forced marriage for a second, talking more of a year.
That's too far.
She's going to go insane before that time comes,hell no! She can't do that.
If there was anyone she wanted to marry,with all honesty in her, it was ken Micheal's, but he's not the one for her.
She knew that.
Taking the fifth shot and slamming the glass down hard,that made the bar man look at her.She can tell what's going on in his mind right now and she doesn't care if he recognized her or not.
She just wanted to be drunk and feel free.The burden in her chest was now too heavy that it's weighing her down, emotionally and physically.
Kai knew that.Her fucking guard could see how everything that is happening lately is taking a toll on her,and she hates the fact that she knew basically everything about her.inside and outside.
She's sure that she's going crazy right now because of her disappearance, but she needed to be alone.She's had enough of waking up to see her face rather than that of the man she loves.

Love was overrated,and she knew that whatever it is she feels for Ken would stop soon.Thats what she had always assured herself that she was only drawn to him, because he's basically everything she had wanted while growing up.

She instantly felt uncomfortable that she had some company that is not appreciated, she's not in a mood for that right now.
So,she did what any good girl would do,she ignored the lousy statement without giving him the attention he wished for.
He's not her type,She could already tell with the way he's talking and his behaviour so far.

When did she ever have any thought, that there's a chance that she would see her type of a man here.
The club is the last place to do that,and there's no chance she's going to give some pussy hungry imbecile her precious time,when she could use that to plan on how to reverse her grandmother's will.
All she needed to do was think,think like the smart lady who would kick her ass for having messed with her.
"It's really rude for a lady not to reply when being asked a question"The cranky fella moved on to touch her arm,and that's not a smart move.Not at all.

She saw the man stood up, but he was way too drunk than her to keep up a stable balance which made her gag when she saw who touched her.
He was old enough to be her dad, what's with men trying to sleep with someone who's way too younger than them, she's sure that he has a lovely wife at home that does have any idea that he's a cheat.

If the table were tried around,he would have sent his wife packing if he finds out that she's a cheater just like him.
The drunk idiot touched his cheeks,and saw some liquid which turned out to be blood from the scratches of her newly done acrylic nails.

She stood up, taking that as a cue for her to leave because she's not sober enough to brace herself for what was about to happen.
Drunk Tiana is not a smart sober Tiana,and there's no Kai here to help her with him either.
She was pushed to the counter,as her head collided with the glass cup that fell down on the floor and shattered.
But the funniest thing about all this was the fact that everyone were minding their business,and were too busy to notice anything that was happening.
Neither did the barman who was nowhere to be seen, leaving her to the mercy of the man who fell back and released her when she matched him with her sharp stiletto heel.
She stood up.
She had to leave, there's no way she's dying in a club filled up with people who could care less that there's a woman that is being assaulted.
Where is Kai when she needs her?

Her subconscious yelled at her.
"You will pay for this.."he yelled at her and heard the sound of something shattering.He broke the bottle and started walking towards her with the sharp edges.
Her legs had to move instantly towards the
exit,as she looked back with every second that passed to see that he's still hellbent on stabbing her with the bottle.

Halfway to leave,her legs tripped over something or someone that nearly made her fall to the ground, but surprisingly some strong arms caught her.
"Are you okay?"
The voice.
The deep sultry voice of her saviour,was so pussy clenching,that her core throb painfully when she looked into his eyes.

"I…you…''She stuttered,and the smirk that crept up his face when she did that didn't go unnoticed by her.
Looking into his eyes,she got lost staring at his brown orbs that she forgot so soon, that there's an insane man on the loose who's after her life and that's a mistake that she regretted for stalling.
The moment she looked behind his back,she saw the psychopath standing at his back with a smirk on his face.
"Noo!"She yelled,as the man that saved her earlier turned to see someone holding some broken bottle up.
She attempted to push him aside ,but he rather pushed her away from harm's way that made her hit the floors,and when she looked up she saw as the bottle went into his stomach.
And right at that moment,she let out an ear piercing scream when the sight of blood covered her view.
