Chapter 33: Going Out Of University
*Ring* *Ring*
"Ah... F*ck, who is it?" muttered Ian as he answered the phone.
'Who would call this early?' - Thought Ian in confusion.
{Oh, you just woke up? } said the caller in surprise.
Ian frowned when he heard that voice. He looked at the Caller Id and the frown eased a bit;
"Asher!? why did you call so early? "Asked Ian, bewildered.
Ian did recall giving Asher his phone number when he bought herbs from Asher, But Asher would only text him. This was the first time he called him.
'Did something happen?'
Ian couldn't help but think negatively.
{ Is 6 Pm early for you? Wait... So you slept until now! No wonder you aren't replying to my message }
' It's 6 Pm already? '
Ian looked around himself; he was still lying down on the floor with a phone in his hand.
He stood up and tried to dust off his clothes.
He laughed awkwardly and tried to change the topic;
"So why did you call me?" Said, Ian.
Asher was silent for a moment before asking,
{ Are you interested in going to Copenhagen? }
Ian furrowed his brows when he heard that.
' Copenhagen? Copenhagen... Ah! It's that event already!? '
Ian was surprised. However, he suppressed this feeling and responded calmly.
"Sure, why not... so who is going with us "
{ It's you, me, and Aeric. } Said Asher.
"Rue is still busy?" Asked Ian.
It's been almost two weeks since he last saw Rue.
{ It's time for his 18th birthday}
"So? Did he go back to his home?" Asked Ian.
This left him perplexed; Rue was supposed to have a terrible relationship with everyone but this idiot.
{ Oh, you didn't know? Rue had a Vampire bloodline, and around his birthday, it would begin maturing, intensifying his desire for blood, so he went somewhere where there weren't any humans to control that desire. }
'Hmm... But in the original event didn't Rue accompany Asher... did I change something?'
Maybe something changed, but Ian didn't know what changed. In addition, he did not even leave this university...how could he possibly change something that could have such drastic effects?
' Wait! Rue is 18? Then Asher and Aeric would also have similar ages... isn't this event supposed to happen when they are about 21? '
He didn't understand. Ian never got involved in any of these matters, so why did it change?
{ Why are you silent for so long? By the way, when is your birthday }
His frown deepened at this question; why would this idiot ask such a useless question?
'Well, what's the harm in saying it?'
Ian sighed and responded;
"I don't even know when I was born, so I never celebrate my birthday."
Official records show Ian had a birthday, but it was the day he got admitted to the orphanage, and thus even he had no idea when he was born.
{ Then you don't know your age? }
"I think it's about 20 or 21 years in official records..."
{You're older than I am? Oh well, it makes sense. After all, you are my senior. Anyway, get to my dorm by 9 p.m., we will begin at that time.}
"Alright..." Said Ian and ended the call;
Then he looked at his clothes and around his dorm room.
"I don't think I need to change clothes," Ian muttered.
When Ian was trying to recall the details of that event, he noticed someone staring at him and turned around.
However, he didn't see anyone nearby.
'Maybe I was mistaken,' Thought Ian.

At 9 Pm, Ian went to Asher's dorm and found Aeric and Asher standing outside the Bungalow.
After some greetings, Ian looked around and questioned.
"How are we going to Copenhagen? "
Ian found out in his previous regression that this University was situated somewhere in Britain.
Aeric, lost in his own world, as usual, did not respond.
Asher smiled mischievously when he heard that. He pointed upwards.
Ian followed his gaze and stared at the sky.
When Ian looked up at the sky, he saw a helicopter high above the ground.
"Will it come down?" Asked Ian.
"No, we must first go outside of the campus, helicopters can't land in the university," said Asher.
Ian nodded when he heard that.
"Then let's go," Said Ian.
A while later; the trio exited the university grounds and boarded the helicopter.
Ian stared at the view of the university from above.
"It's really too huge to be a university ..." Said Asher, sitting beside him.
Ian agreed with that. It looked like a town from above.
"Oh yeah! I just recalled something," said Asher and opened the bag beside him.
He took a few sets of clothes and masks from the bag and gave Aeric and Ian one.
"This... a Mind protection mask?, and Mass produced Stealth Cloak!" Exclaimed Ian.
Asher nodded and continued,
"Yes, you got that right... the place we are going is slightly dangerous, so it's better to have to use these."
Aeric didn't say anything and just wore the cloak on top of his clothes.
With the mask and cloak on, the trio looked like some villains plotting something.
"Why is this cloak black!? You should have bought other colors" Said, Ian.
Aeric looked at his own outfit and muttered, "This looks like a classic cultist outfit. "
Ian: ...
Asher: ...
