Chapter 37: Getting Surrounded
A few minutes later, two people came to move the bags.
Ian gave those two every bag except the Stone ball, gun, bomb, and a few other invaluable treasures.
He didn't want to take any risk; These items are very important to him. As for the gun and bomb... Hah, having a weapon for protection is important, and its importance is even more magnified today.

The Unity Bank of the Central realm, and finally Occult Council's Local branch.
"Isn't that dangerous?" Muttered Ian while staring at the top of the buildings.
They were built to the ceiling of the underground city.
Some are even touching the gas lines!
One can easily destroy the Underground city and even the thriving city above by just attaching a bomb to those lines...
' No wonder they did so many identity checks on the way, '
He shook his head and walked towards the location that Asher sent him.
There were many people like him, who came here to watch the execution and all of them also hid their identities.
He soon found Asher and Aeric, along with a few Burly men armed with Assault Riffles, protecting them.
' He even arranged bodyguards? '
Ian was surprised by this.
It seems like what he said about having Assassins sent after he wasn't a bluff; Asher was really worried about Assassins.
"Ha... why are people fighting within themselves even in times like these? " muttered Ian.
Unfortunately, there was no one around him to answer that question.
In fact, Ian already has an inkling about what caused these infightings - Human greed.
"Oh, you are here at last!" shouted Asher, noticing him from afar.
Ian couldn't see his expression because of the obstruction of the mask, but he could tell that Asher was angry and confused.
"What happened?" Asked Ian in confusion.
Asher seemed to notice Ian's confusion and said while grumbling.
" Aeric went to the trading center and spent all of the money I gave him... I wouldn't have cared about it normally But! he had accidentally revealed me! Those Quinn idiots are now staring at us from every angle...." said Asher.
Ian pondered for a moment before speaking;
"Then we can't escape? "
Asher nodded angrily, even kicking the boulder beside him, which caused him to jump around on one leg.
A message notification rang from Asher's phone while he was dissatisfied.
{Ian: There are people from the Shrine of Sin and other Abyssal realm factions surrounding the underground city...it would be better for us to flee when things got too chaotic.}
Asher responded in a single sentence.
{Asher: Alright}
He didn't even doubt the information Ian gave him.
The screen soon lit up, and a darkly lit room appeared on it.
There was a middle-aged man in it who was covered in blood and chained; one could clearly see the madness in his eyes.
And there were a few people sitting on high rising thrones in front of this man.
Although their faces are obscured, everyone in the room recognized them as the Council leaders.
When Ian saw the screen, his eyes lit up; the people sitting on the thrones could be said to have the pinnacle combat strength of humanity, similar to Osiris.
" That's a Transcendent level expert from Shrine of sin- Wrath FiendKing, He is quite famous for his mass murders and indiscriminate killings." Explained Asher.
' A Transcedent huh...'
Ian knew about this, the stage above Mortal Stage.
Beings who reached this stage would no longer be considered humans, instead, they call themselves Transcended humans.
While Ian was recalling the information about Transcendents
The chained man started laughing and spat out a mouthful of blood before saying.

Ian started frowning when he heard that.
" Asher lets go "
Aeric, looked at the ceiling noticing something.
Asher also followed Aeric's gaze and his expression became complicated when he saw the ceiling.

Maybe all entrances were also blocked by those Abyssal Realm's factions, to put it simply they were stuck in a cage.
