Chapter 2: The Moon's Gate

It was a beautiful starry night. It felt like nothing mattered anymore. The stars glimmer gently while the moon's light dominates them all. A young boy was admiring the night view on the balcony of the highest tower of Enarol, Knarbo. The boy's name is Jed Enia Enarol. He was the first prince — an heir to the throne. It was a beautiful view to be seen. The prince was thankful that he was able to witness this starry view every night.

One day, when the prince went to see the night sky on top of the tower of Knarbo, he was surprised that the starry night was no more. Instead, it was only the gigantic view of the moon. Why had the moon grown so big at the top of the tower? And yet, at the bottom, it was at a normal size? Prince Jed was dumbfounded. He tried reaching the moon's surface, and when he touched it, he found himself floating in a reddish space. It was surprising to Jed that he was able to breathe even within the void. Was there some powerful entity keeping him alive? He looked for exits, and when he turned his back, he saw a boy roughly his age. The boy was a bit peculiar, having white hair and blue eyes. They tried communicating with each other, and when they asked for each other's names, only the boy was able to say his name. "Blane," Jed repeated the boy's name many times, yet he forgot about it in a matter of seconds. It was just at that moment when his younger brother arrived at Knarbo tower.

What could that sudden experience have been? Jed was confused. He was able to remember the boy's face but not clearly. Jed forgot the boy's name so quickly, yet he still remembered that they tried exchanging their names. Whatever that experience was, Jed tried his best to forget -- but he wasn't able to do so.
