Chapter 5: prelude to war

''Hayato-saaaan enter the aogiri, please.''
''No way, I don't want to be restricted by an organization. put your claws into another ghoul, yoshimura''
In a totally dark shed were two ghouls talking, probably if an investigator saw this scene he would easily recognize these ghouls. Eto yoshimura the founding leader of the aogiri organization and hayato the ghoul that was recently added to the ccg archives.
"I didn't come here to ask you to come in hayato" Eto who was sitting on the cold floor stood up towards hayato who was standing in the middle of the shed "Consider this a threat, I know a lot about you. I can destroy your stomach with my kagune in the blink of an eye.'' the ghoul's voice changed in tones of cuteness and menace.
''So kill me, I can kill others, others can naturally come and kill me. That's nothing.''
Hayato knew how dangerous and obsessive Eto was when she wanted something, her childish appearance didn't fool him. aogiri is an organization with many powerful members, he could name the top five strongest members and he would lose to all of them.
"you piece of shit, pay attention to who you are talking to, do you think I am that old man?''
The nerves in his forehead could already be seen by someone even with the bandages covering his entire body, she could never understand what was going through Hayato's head, he could be ready to die if necessary.

Ghouls, yes. that was Hayato's main concern. he felt hunger daily, his kakuhou was thirsty to store RC cells. he was like a junkie always looking for something to satisfy his hunger. and by his reputation it was getting harder and harder to get new meat.
''I accept your offer, but on one condition''
Hayato distanced himself from eto by creating a space between them.
''I want to be the partner of the much feared, Oomori''
Yakumo Oomori was an executive of the aogiri organization, and founder of a gang of ghouls. he was known for his sadistic and vicious nature. some ghouls said he fed off his own kind. just like hayato.
''Oomori? all right, you will be his partner. i heard he is going to torture someone on the day of the invasion. if you are lucky maybe he will let you participate in the torture session. well, i believe we have settled our little argument. see you in a few days hayato-san''
Soon only hayato remained standing in the middle of the shed, he was still looking from where yoshimura had left. ''I'm not interested in a silly war, ghouls or humans. they're all pigs ready for slaughter in the end.''

Dramaturgia the war is coming, the next chapters will focus on the confrontation of the war. probably the next two chapters will end the first volume. if you are confused about the chronological order of the fanfic, i recommend you to review the anime. it is following the same proportion of the events but the ending will be different from the first season. Anyway, I write for fun, so don't take this fanfic too seriously.
