Chapter 46: Ruth's hand-crafted buddies.

It was impossible to fathom that those two individuals were one and the same, for their very aura exuded a stark contrast. Like the stark difference between a calm, tranquil lake and a raging, tumultuous ocean, their presence gave off an entirely dissimilar vibe.

One of them emitted an aura that was as deadly as a venomous snake, capable of killing with just a glance. The other, on the other hand, looked like she couldn't even hurt someone even if she tried.

"Tch." With a derisive snort, Jona callously flung Ellia aside like a ragdoll, sending her crashing to the ground with a resounding thud.

"Hey!" A shrill cry escaped Jessica's lips as she dashed over to Ellia's side, pulling her up from the cold, hard floor. Her eyes blazed with fury as she leveled a withering gaze at Jona.

"Where are you headed?" Jessica asked while flipping off Jona.

"Privite rooms." Ellia naswerd.

Jessica shifted her gaze toward Kai, "I'll help her get there. Just go on ahead without me."

"Alright." Kai nodded.

As she supported Ellia's weight by having her arm draped over her neck, Jessica spoke, "You do know that alcohol is forbidden in here, right."

"No..." Ellia shook her head.

'Well, it is so watch out. 'You're lucky you only got caught by me." Jessica let out a smile.

"Uh-huh..."

Before they knew it, they had arrived at the elevator.

'Is she also a high ranker or just a noble.' Jessica thought as she watched Ellia struggle to press the button for the elevator.

"I'm fine now... Thanks for guiding me here." Ellia spoke as he waved Jessica away as if she was a nuisance. Jessica herself was taken aback, but remembering that Ellia was drunk, she reluctantly let it go.

"Alright..." Jessica mumbled, watching Ellia enter the elevator by herself. Jessica's lips parted in a barely audible whisper as she watched Ellia enter the elevator. The doors slid shut like a pair of parted curtains, leaving Jessica standing there in stunned silence.

With a burst of energy, Ellia's voice reverberated through the elevator shaft as she hollered, "Upper floor 6!" Suddenly, as if plucked by some unseen force, Ellia's body vanished from the confined space and reappeared instantaneously on the third floor, leaving nothing behind but the lingering echo of her voice.

But unlike last time, Ellia felt as if she needed to puke as she had trained in mana for three weeks with James.

As Ellia stumbled toward her room, she felt the effects of the alcohol wash over her like a relentless wave, threatening to drag her into a sea of unconsciousness once again.

Ellia's heart sank as she fumbled through her pockets, desperately searching for the keycard. But as her fingertips grazed the empty fabric, she knew with a sinking feeling that it was a fruitless endeavor - she had left it behind in the dormitory.

"Ah, fuck..." As a lethargic groan escaped from her lips, Ellia's heavy eyelids drooped, threatening to shut out the world around her. Her weakened body, devoid of any semblance of strength, staggered forward, struggling to keep upright.

But before Ellia's face could smack against the cold steel of the door, it unexpectedly slid open.

As Ellia plummeted towards the ground, her body hurtling towards a seemingly inevitable collision with the hard surface below, a mysterious black metallic blob appeared out of nowhere to break her fall. It enveloped her like a protective cocoon, its smooth surface reflecting the dim light of the hallway.

The black blob pulsated, seemingly with a will of its own, as it slowly dragged Ellia into the room.

Once Ellia was situated in the center of the room, the black blob came to a halt as it began snaking out to encircle Ellia. Suddenly, its shape shifted, its fluid arms extending to reach out to caress her breasts with a gentle touch.

Despite the initial impression that it was reaching for Ellia's breasts, the black blob's true purpose became clear as it zeroed in on a delicate necklace nestled between her breasts. Its grasp tightened around the delicate chain of her necklace, pulling it free from its resting place with a soft tug.

As the black blob captured the necklace, the air around it began to crackle with electric energy, the very atmosphere pulsing with a bright neon blue light.

It was as if a conduit of energy had been opened, and torrents of raw power surged through the room, flowing into the amorphous entity like a river of light. The blob absorbed the energy with ravenous hunger, its inky form pulsing and expanding as it consumed the vast quantities of energy being channeled through the necklace.

As the black blob continued to absorb the pulsing energy, its form began to coalesce and take shape.

Slowly but surely, the inky mass began to take on a distinctly humanoid form, its limbs stretching and morphing into recognizable appendages, its once-featureless surface now sprouting eyes, a nose, and a mouth.

As the transformation neared completion, the black metallic skin that had once encased the humanoid entity began to soften as if melting away under some unseen heat. The transformation was accompanied by a mesmerizing display of color and texture - the surface of the blob shimmered and rippled. Its once-dark hue gives way to a milky, white skin.

As the last vestiges of the metallic skin faded away, strands of vibrant red hair tumbled down from the now-humanoid figure's head, framing a face that was striking in its beauty. The once-liquid limbs now resembled flesh and bone, their surface smooth and supple to the touch.

"I was finally able to put all this energy to good use." As it spoke, the figure opened and closed its hands, testing out the intricate movements of its new limbs.

But just from the soft voice, it became unmistakably clear that the newly-formed humanoid was none other than Ruth.

A sudden draft of cool air caressed her bare skin as she realized that her once-black metallic skin had given way to soft, delicate flesh and that she was completely naked.

"Humph." Black liquid began swirling around her in a mesmerizing dance. As she watched, the liquid began to take on a life of its own, merging into a swirling vortex of darkness. But instead of engulfing her, the vortex began to twist and turn, taking the shape of a flowing, ethereal gown.

The liquid fabric flowed around her, enveloping her in a warm embrace, and as Ruth looked down, she saw that she was now clothed in a gown of the blackest night.

Then with a flick of her wrist, a warm of the same black liquid emerged from the kitchen counter and shot towards Ellia.

As the tendrils of black liquid enveloped Ellia, they began to seep into her pores. The dark, inky fluid flowed through her veins. With each beat of her heart, liquid surged through her body like a storm.

"Arghhh!" Ellia groaned in pain as she convulsed with pain, her body wracked with spasms that threatened to tear her apart, but it quickly stopped just as fast as it happened. Ellia felt her eyes slowly flutter open, her vision blurry and unfocused. As her gaze slowly cleared, she realized that she was staring up at a massive screen, the system interface looming over her.

"Are you feeling better?" As Ruth spoke up, Ellia's gaze was drawn away from the captivating glow of the screen to meet Ruth's questioning eyes.

"Huh?" Ellia mumbled in confusion. "I'm I seeing things?"

Ellia's hand rose, tenderly caressing Ruth's cheek with the gentleness of a mother cradling her newborn.

"How...?"

"It's simple," Ruth said as she raised her hand. The next thing that happened caught Ellia off guard as Ruth's hand melted into a black liquid and slowly poured onto the floor. "Nanorobotics. I'm able to control it at will, and so are you."

Just then, the dark liquid that had once pooled on the wooden floor began to transform before Ellia's eyes. Now once in a liquid state, it began changing into dust.

"These things are also in your veins," As Ruth's voice cut through the stillness, Ellia's eyes were drawn down to her arm.

"Is that so…" Ellia muttered and looked back at the screen. "What is this?"

"It looks like the system put up everything you need to know about my buddies," With a smug expression, Ruth curved her lips upwards and inflated her chest proudly. "Do you wanna know what it does?"

"Why not?" Ellia spoke, quite excited herself, as something like this was foreign to her.
