Chapter 33: W1(28)
“Jack. Calm down, calm down, calm….” Elen started but was cut off by Jack somehow breaking off from all the bodyguard’s hold and rushing towards the exit before he was held down again.
“LET ME GO, MOTHER! HE’S GONE! HOW CAN I LIVE WITHOUT HIM?!” Jack shouted at his mum with red eyes showing his rage.
“Jack calm the fuck down we’ll find him!” Jennifer shouted at Jack which got her a death glare in response.
“How did this happen again… why only us? Why are all these misfortunes coming to us alone?” Jason who had seen it firsthand muttered with a pale face.
[Earlier]
Elen sorted out the matter. In the end, they decided not to report Mike, Jack also agreed with this, although Mike had to be punished, the worst thing that they could ever do was report him.
As for Mike… he seemed to have varnished but with technology was well advanced and finding him would be easy the instant he became a target.
The International Ancient Conference was a Worldwide organization made up of the most powerful Ancients in the world, they were ranked according to their family powers. They were almost on par with the Originals due to their number but in the end, the Originals surpassed them due to the sheer insanity of the powers they had.
Filled with the most powerful members with eerie yet terrifying abilities, it really wasn’t a shock that the Originals held the role of the world's strongest.
Mike’s family was a member of the IAC and as his wife so was Elen, but now that they had broken up, things were going to get crazy. Elen was more than prepared to fight Mike, maybe before when she was nothing but a tool for him due to her lacking in many terms but now she would change!
She could only sit down like an obedient puppy, but now with this newfound power she was more than sure that the IAC wouldn’t let go of an asset like her and that was all she needed to evolve into a crazy mutt and bite the hell out of Mike.
What worried her was Mike’s sudden disappearance, since everything had been in chaos and her mind was all over the place;
Trying to compensate Danison's Mother, suppressing the news and all, by the time she knew it, Mike had escaped from the hospital they had sent him to for recuperation.
“I know that bastard, he would never give up that easily,” Elen muttered to herself as she signed a document.
“Double the security, I don’t know Mike’s plan but one thing I do know is that none of my kids are getting hurt,” Elen said to her new assistant.
“Yes, madam.”

“So this is how you ended up, huh old pal?” A deep voice resonated, its tone wasn’t the least playful but full of mockery.
“Shut up, is the plan ready?” A green-haired man whose hair seemed to be greying at an incredible rate said.
“Sure thing…. Mr. Johnson” The voice said not in the least losing its teasefulness making the green-haired male growl in anger.
“I’ll make sure that hag knows who she’s messing with,” Mike grumbled with rage.

It was a Sunday, Jerry was out with Jason and Jessica on a walk to the pack, Jerry was sweating buckets with the group of fellows behind him.
It hadn't been long that his heat ended.
He had gotten himself after a week, although his heat only lasted for around five days. Strolling to his room he took a long bath before dressing up and going into his kitchen to make a snack. Usually, he snacks with Jack and as before went to his room to have their usual snack time, who the hell would have expected Mrs. Elen to be there?!
Before words could form in Jerry’s mouth he was attacked! With his quick reflexes, Jerry dodged the hand-chop that was about to land on his neck and flung himself out of Elen’s range before landing perfectly.
Elen was so shocked that she froze for three straight seconds while Jerry felt his heart beating out of his chest, he had barely seen the hand at all!
“You… actually managed to dodge it?” Elen asked in an exasperated tone.
“I’M SORRY!!”
Jerry was so scared that he might lose his job that he was about spilled all kinds of apologies he had in his vocabulary when Jack attacked him with a hug.
‘In the end, Mrs. Elen explained why she had attacked me. I can’t believe I was that shameless! Argh!! I blame this curseth heat!’ Jerry contemplated in his mind with a slight flush on his fair face.
“Jerry? Are you okay?” Jennifer asked while waving a BL manga in front of him.
“Hey! Hey! Jessy, you don’t just wave around that thing anyhow…!” Jerry said
“Whatevs, who’s here except you?” Jessica said coolly.
“Them?” Jerry said whilst pointing at the four bodyguards standing beside them and making them particularly stand out.
Although Mrs. Elen was particularly sure to make it so that they got a VIP portion for themselves, the burly man still made Jerry feel weird.
“Treat them like walls or something,” Jessica said while motioning to another guard to hand her another manga which he obediently did
“Haigh…..”
‘This rich brat’ Jerry thought.
“By the way, isn’t Jason taking too long in the toilet? Did he chicken out of the reading competition he himself set up?” Jessica mumbled all the while having her eyes only on the BL manga.
“Never Understand huh…? I heard this manga is an emotional…”
“Indeed! Especially when Jaerim was blackmailed and kidnapped by that bastard who pretended to be his friend! But he does get character development I think, in the side story… I haven’t read it though,” Jerry said with sparkling eyes and acting like a fellow injected with chicken blood.
“Oho? You also know this one? Is there any BL manga you don’t know?” Jessica asked in amusement.
“Well I do know a lot… like a certain harem one, with the MC actually ending with two hot gongs!” Jerry said with a devilish smirk.
“Eh?? Harem!! Please tell me!!” Jessica said excitedly.
“ ‘There’s no way this is fate!’, it’s hella interesting and there’s also a sequel I think,” Jerry said
“And you never mentioned it! Wait! Is there a hottie gong with black hair there?” Jessica asked, her favorites had always been black-haired hotties.
“Yup, not only that, but he’s also a pervert! Although the two gongs are pervs, he’s more pervier, and guess what?” Jerry asked.
“What?” Jessica asked
“My best ship is the two gongs themselves! I so wanna see them fuck~” Jerry said with stars in his eyes and the poor bodyguards watched helplessly as the two hopeless people squealed like idiots.
“Ah! I want to buy it and go read it at home! Where the hell is Jason?!” Jessica howled like a possessed hag.
“Now you’ve said it… isn’t he taki…..”
“HELP!!!!”
Suddenly, Jason's dread-filled scream filled the air startling both Jerry and Jessica. Two of the bodyguards dashed off in the direction of the scream to see what the hell was going on why the other two protected Jessica.
“Miss you must stay here” Bodyguard #1 said while restraining Jessica as the other guards dashed off.
“But…b…”
“JESSY, please,” Jerry said while hugging her.
“Okay... I hope Jason is okay” Jessica muttered shivering.
“He is, ‘cause am going to go get him.”
“Eh?!”
“As an awakened Ancient, I think I can be of help?” Jerry asked.
“Fine.”
It was a good thing that they had rented the library all for themselves today or hell would have been let loose if the other customers were around and this shit happened.
Dashing off while casting one more sad glance at the shivering Jennifer, Jerry wasted no more time as he ran faster, eventually crossing even the guards to their surprise.
The guards were Ancients and alphas at the same time so it was rather shocking to see a skinny Jerry who was only an omega surpass them but they dropped this worry the next minute they saw their comrades’ bodies sprawled all over the floor all passed out.
They were two of them sent to look after Jason as he did his business but somehow, they had passed out!
There were no trails to follow if not dashing around and the longer they took, the more danger Jason would be in.
Jerry took a deep sniff of the air and found traces of weird substances in the air, their smell was barely noticeable and so the guards didn’t notice it but as a Pure, he did.
Without any explanation, he followed after the scent until he reached a dead end in the library,
“Damn it!” Jerry shouted in anger as he punched a library shelf causing books to tumble down and fall.
When it looked like all hope was lost and despair became nearer than ever, Jerry’s ear caught a sound.
“Huh? Jason!” Jerry exclaimed in pleasant surprise as he saw Jason who was blindfolded, handcuffed, and gagged while placed on top of the shelf!
“Mpphh, Mphh!” Jason tried to warn but was too late as someone from behind stabbed an injection on Jerry’s neck.
