Chapter 3: A Massive Snake!
Unknown cave,
Wang Tian was walking through the narrow rocky path. His footsteps echoing through the narrow, rocky path. The ground was rough and uneven, with sharp rocks jutting up from the ground at every angle.
Cold rocky smell entered his nose as he continued to walk.
* Step * step
Only the sound of his footsteps could be heard.
Suddenly, Wang Tian stopped walking. He stood there for a moment, his body tense and alert as he tried to figure out what was wrong.
"What's this? Why am I feeling dread?" he muttered, looking ahead with a sense of growing fear.
He didn't know why, but the closer he got to the core area of the cave, the more dread he felt. It was as if there was some unseen force, some dark and malevolent presence that was emanating from the depths of the cave.
[ Answer- an unknown aura is causing this. Estimated location 600 meters in front.]
"Is this the reason why there are no animals here?" Wang Tian muttered to himself, a sense of realization dawning on him.
" Growl.. Growl.."
"Sigh," Wang Tian sighed, his shoulders slumping in resignation. "Even if I don't want to go, I have to. Or else I'll starve to death."
After some time had passed, Wang Tian found himself aghast as he looked at the thing in front of him.
A massive black snake-like beast was lying on the ground. It was releasing a bone chilling dreadful aura that made him shudder.
He was frozen in fear, unable to move or even think as he stared at the beast. He had never seen anything like it before, and he had a feeling that it was not something he wanted to mess with.
Finally he understood what kind of world he had come to. He wanted nothing but curse those transmigrators who became happy and so full of themselves after learning that they came to a fantasy world.
Did they ever not think about the horror of this kind of world..?
He was nothing but a mere mortal. How could he survive facing such a thing?
" Hey system, can I survive from that thing ?" Wang Tian asked in a low voice. He had no choice but to place all his hope in the system.

It was a massive cave mansion, if he had to guess it would be at least ten times bigger than a football stadium.
Shiny crystal-like objects were attached to the walls of the cave mansion.
" What is this place? " he muttered.
[ Answer: This should be a spirit stone mine..]
" Huh! Spirit stone..do you mean the spirit stones that used for cultivation" his thought snapped.
If this was true didn't that mean he hit a jackpot..
Wang Tian looked at the surroundings carefully. His eyes glistened looking at those shining spirit stones.
For the first time, a smile formed on his face.
The rocky floor was covered with green moss and grass only..
" Do I have to eat grass.." he said but noticed a little place was covered by the snake's massive body.

Swallowing his saliva, Wang Tian cautiously approached the area..
He slowly peeped into the area first.. noticing nothing strange he tried to enter the area. As he was about to enter the area..
" Hiick " with a frightened cry he fall on the ground.
It was a middle aged man whose body was full of wounds leaning his body onto the snake.
Shortly after he noticed the middle aged man was motionless.
" Fuck! That scared hell out of me.." he sighed in relief.
He approached the area and looked at the man carefully. Looking at the man he saw he was also emitting a faint aura even though not powerful as the beast but it was there.
" Did they fought and perished together?" he couldn't think of any other reason.
" Then he should be a True monarch cultivator as the system says"
" Eh what's this" he said looking at the red color bracelet on the man's right arm.
He carefully removed it from the man's arm.

Without any thought he picked the fruits and started to eat…

" Tasty! Feels like this fruit is made of alcohol my throat is burning..kugh.."
" Talking of alcohol this should something like that.." he said looking at the two bottles in front of him..
He took the bottle and opened it..
" Aah what a smell…even the most fine wine would be pale in comparison.."

" Kugh.. this is heaven…."
In a few minutes he gobble up the fruits and the one bottle of alcohol.
Slapping on his flat stomach he said.." finally I feel full.."
But suddenly..
" Aree. What's happening with my body.."
His body was turning red in hot..
Slowly the sensation of pain spread all over his body..
" Argh.. what's happening" he screamed.

" Ugh what's this smell.." he muttered but shortly after noticed his whole body was covered with blood.
Then he remembered what happened before passing out.
"So, I managed to survive.." he said.
Standing up, he removed all of his clothes as it was blood soaked. He wore one of the robes that he got from the storage bracelet.
" Why do I feel like I am lot stronger now.." he muttered.
Not only that, he suddenly felt that he could understand everything very clearly now..
" System, how long has it been since I passed out "
