Chapter 16: Chapter 15 "Who's a little kid?"
Soon Da-Eun's House came into view… Aldo looked at the two story house that stood in front of him..
He turned to look at Da-eun who picked her school bag, put the water bottle inside and was about to leave but stopped to ask "Do you wanna come inside with me?"
As soon as she said that, she realized it was too early to invite him inside the house, as a friend.. they had only become friends for a day and Aldo might think that she was a girl who invited everyone to her house..
She initially thought that it was okay if she invited him for an evening snack before leaving, in return of him sending her home.. Da-eun didn't like owing anyone anything.. but now she felt like she made a hasty move and was regretting it..
Aldo looked at her and was feeling conflicted about going inside, when Da-eun spoke again feeling a little awkward "It's fine if you're not comfortable with it.. I understand.. see you in school.. bye.."
She opened the car door and walked a few steps when she heard Aldo's voice from behind "If it's not too much trouble for you.. then.. Umm.. I'd like to take your offer.. if-if only it still stands.."
She turned around and saw his face that had turned red from embarrassment.. she finally smiled a little at what he said and nodded her head "Sure.. follow me.."
After saying that she turned around and walked in front of her house with Aldo following behind her..
It was Elio who opened the door for them "Welcome back home miss.."
Da-eun looked at Elio and nodded her head and made a gesture towards Aldo and said "He's my friend Aldo.. Aldo this is Elio my new butler..."
Aldo and Elio greeted each other and Elio walked them inside to the living room and said before leaving "Please make yourself at home Mr. Aldo.. I'll go and prepare some snacks… is there anything that you'd like to have? Please let me know and I'll make it for you.."
Aldo looked at him and shook his head "I'm fine with anything you make.. please be at ease.." After saying that he sat on the couch..
Da-eun turned to look at him and said "I'll go and change my clothes.. you can feel comfortable here.. I'll be fast.." She strode towards her room that was on the second floor.. Aldo followed her with his eyes until she entered the room..
He took out his phone and started to play video game.. He was engrossed in the game to even notice his surroundings and was startled when he heard a childlike voice "Who are you? And who let you come inside my house without my permission? Elio.."
Aldo looked up from his phone and saw that it was a young kid who was looking at him with his eyes narrowed.. he had his arms folded in front of his chest and was wearing a business suit..
Aldo raised his eyebrows at him and found him pretty amusing.. it was rare for a small kid to wear business suit, and at home at that.. Aldo was about to introduce himself when Elio came with quick steps and said in a hurry to the little kid "Young master.. He is Mr. Aldo, Miss said that he's her friend.."
Noah looked at Aldo as if he was an alien entity that wasn't supposed to be in his house but now he had to tolerate him for the sake of Da-eun.. he furrowed his eyebrows and dismissed Elio with his hand and sat in front of Aldo with one leg on top of the other..
In Aldo's eyes he looked like a boss baby who liked to boss around and would throw tantrums when things didn't go according to his wishes.. His eyes never leaving him..
Aldo heard the sound of the game that he was playing and found out that his avatar had died and felt a little frustrated because his ranks fell.. it was quite difficult to raise in ranks in the new video game… he sighed and mumbled to himself "Oh no.. now I have to again raise my ranks.. it was already hard enough for me to come at this level.. what bad luck.."
His voice was not too loud but Noah still heard him and stoop up to walk towards him.. When he reached in front of Aldo he took the phone from his hands without speaking a word and looked at the video game that he was playing..
Aldo looked at Noah in surprise and was about to speak when he heard him say "Huh.. let me show you how to be a master player.." Noah smirked for a split second before returning to his usual serious face..
He went to sit at a hands distance from Aldo on his left side.. Aldo found it a little odd for a small kid to behave like that.. but he kept quite and watched him play the video game..
Da-eun came walking down the stairs and saw this scene.. she found it interesting to watch as the oddball Noah was playing quietly while Aldo was watching him play and making noises like "Yes.. go left.. now right.. hit him.. yaa... woah.."
They were too engrossed in the game to notice her presence.. she walked behind the couch and stood behind them to watch what they were playing.. Aldo exclaimed with excitement as the game finished with Noah winning it..
"Woah.. you are such a good player little kid.. it's really amazing for you to play a video game at such a young age and even winning against professional players.. I'm surprised.."
Aldo was very happy as he got his ranks increased in the game and was complimenting Noah nonstop..
On the other hand Noah kept looking at the phone with an expression that said 'You call this hard.. I can win it in my sleep..' "Who are you calling a little kid?" He said with annoyance..
Da-eun found it cute and ruffled Noah's hair from behind and said "You are pretty good with video games I guess.." As soon as Noah felt her hand in his hair, his body stiffened, he removed her hand quickly and got up from the couch..
Noah looked at her as she was smiling at him and said "You are not allowed to touch me again.. hmph.." After saying that he walked to the opposite side and sat on the chair in front of them..
Elio came with snacks in his hand and placed them on the table.. then walked back to the kitchen to bring back something to drink for all of them.."
Da-eun wanted to retort Noah but let it slide.. she didn't want to argue with her little 'brother' in front of Aldo, who came to the house for the first time..
