Chapter 15: New spell.

"Where did you get that aegis ?" Ophni asked.
Lydan took a step back when he saw Ophni sneering in front of him, "Where did he come from?" Lydan's notion muttered.
"Lady?" Ophni called.
Lydan shot a glare at Ophni when he heard "Lady", as he stepped forward in wrathfulness. "What did you say?" he signed.
"Where did you get that aegis ?" Ophni responded.
"Do you have that much free time to joke around? and what aegis? What are you talking about?" Lydan signed with ferocity.
"I am a veritably busy person, do not accuse me, I would have gone to complete my precious sleep schedule if I was not bothered by your aegis," Ophni said in a comical tone.
"Get lost!" Lydan signed
"Lady, rage does not suit you," sneering, Ophni said.
Pleasantly, Ophni was peering at Lydan, whose pale face was getting redder–Ophni suddenly sensed a dagger on his neck.
Lydan, with a fixed dagger on Ophni's neck in the blink of an eye, was behind him rather than in front, while Ophni was unfazed–he anticipated Lydan to do that because of his experience from the morning.
"You're getting back at me for what I did in the morning" whistling Ophni said.
"Call me a lady one more time and I will rip you next" Lydan scribbled on Ophni's back with his finger.
"I can not help it" pithily Ophni said.

The broken hedge of fog was without a soul—suddenly a waft of breeze came from the forest and started gushing then and there in a strange pattern until it reached Lydan, who was with a dagger fixed on Ophni's neck and passed through him while making his gasp for air.
...
"Lady?" Ophni called out when he didn't get a response from Lydan–he felt heavy breathing on his back and saw that Lydan's hands were pulsing as the grip on his neck loosened.
Ophni suddenly looked back, and what he saw wasn't what he expected_Lydan's whole body was quivering, his one hand was on his chest, and he was gripping the pendant with his other hand while breathing heavily.
"Hey, are you okay?" Ophni asked in a worried tone.
Lydan was feeling a sharp pain in his scar–he couldn't hear anything, but whispers in his ears, his mind was numb as his vision started to get vague.
"Why?" Lydan's notion muttered.
Ophni surged toward Lydan and held him as he saw him trying to crouch down for support–Ophni started to get worried and before he could do something about the situation, he suddenly felt Lydan's body lifeless.

"What a lovely chat is this" Seated in a twenty bases high window, a man said while yawning.
Everyone looked over and saw a beautiful cadaverous man seated in a window–his casual clothes had wrinkles and his heavy eyes with dark circles were telling a story.
His short brown hairs were all ruffled and a stain around one corner of his mouth demonstrated traces of drooling while sleeping not too long gone.
Despite being in a haggard state, his dominant aura wasn't to be easily meddled with.
"You're awake Richard," Gage said.
"Someone was spreading rumors about me so how could I not?" Richard replied in his deep voice.
"The rumors are true!" Edward holloed.
"Oh, Edward you're here too! I am sorry I did not see you," Richard said sarcastically.
"Wait, what did you say?" Edward asked Gage.
"uh oh," Arlo blatted in between.
"We were waiting here and you knew that he was sleeping in the same room," Edward yelled.
"I knew it too," Arlo said.
"Same here," Lynorr said while rolling her eyes.
"Am I the only one who did not know that he was sleeping like an old lady in the same room? where I was waiting for him" Edward shouted.
"Edward that's..." Gage was cut off by Richard.
"Gage, isn't my brother a feisty one?" Richard said while peering at Gage.
"Not at all..." Gage was again cut off by Arlo.
"Umm... if you all had your love talk, then please proceed with our case," Arlo said in a comical tone.
"Our case? listen if someone had to give any discipline for the blast then give it to Arlo, he is pretty eager anyway," Lynorr said, striking at Arlo.
"I have heard a few things about you two and was told to keep a close eye on both of you," Richard said.
"This is nothing for popular people like us," Arlo said comically.
"There is no us" Lynorr yelled, glaring at Arlo.
"Sigh... I should have heeded those words" Richard said as he darted his finger.
Arlo who was tied to the chair, suddenly felt as if someone was choking him–Lynorr, who was tied to the chair in front of Arlo, felt that she couldn't move or speak.
"Richard!! what are you doing?" Edward thundered.
Richard was using his power " What do you mean brother? I am giving them for what you came to me to ask" Richard said while making a fist from his hand.
"It's too much for discipline, stop it!" Edward yelled.
"And why?"
"They're children and royalties on top of that" Edward was yelling as he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Edward suddenly looked back and saw Arlo standing behind him with his hand on his shoulder and Lynorr beside him–both chairs were intact and had fog ropes without a change in the spell which made Gage confused too.
"How?" Edward was in a muddle.
"You both are passed, you can go now," Richard said.
"Birse can make you lose your rationality, professor," Arlo said as he fled the room, following behind Lynorr.
Edward was rocked in his place, and Gage was surprised to discern the ability he noway had seen before.
"What was that Richard?" Gage asked.
"A new spell made by those two" Richard responded.
"How? I have been keeping an eye on Lynorr since she was a child, I have tutored her everything so how?" Gage said in incredulity.
"Are you sure you had your eyes on her every time?" Richard said with a smirk.
"I..." Gage grunted.
"Can you please put my brother on the chair? he seems too shocked" Richard said.
Gage used his fog spell to make Edward sit in the chair, while Gage was busy–Richard felt a presence in his room.
"You can come out, your highness," Richard said with a smirk on his face.
