I was reading a book under a trees shade, while the kids were playing a simple game of tag.
They were playing in lush green plains that had a very nice environment. Of course, I wouldn't play with the kids my age, as it didn't benefit me in any way. I had black hair, with piercing gold eyes, and I also am pretty tall for my age, because I'm twelve.
<Starts Raining>
"Of all times why did it start raining" I sighed.
"REN!!" My mother called out to me, as she was afraid, I might get sick. Her name was Mary Hemlock, I asked my mom, when I was little on where my father was. She was quite shocked when I asked her that question, she just answered and said that my father is now gone.
I asked her why, and she just said he was just gone saying no more than enough. My mother has black olive hair, with a silky skin, she could be called beautiful in her own right. She was also always wearing these green, or purple clothing's, sometimes I wonder if she only has these two colors.
I started walking towards my house and saw a mysterious man walking on the road. He noticed me, and we made eye contact. I just ignored him and walked to my house.
When I was home, I was shocked to see my mother talking to the mysterious individual.
"Oh Ren, you're back!" My mother said.
"We have a guest so don't misbehave." My mother said, giving me hard look.
"I won't, I won't, anyways who is this man?" I asked with my eyes filled with caution, as I remembered seeing the mysterious man on the road.
"Don't worry Ren, this man is Hagrid Millis." She said while looking at the man.
'My mom is too nice for goodness' sake.' I said in my mind.
"Now introduce yourself Ren." My mother said.
"Hello Hagrid Millis." I said looking at the man.
"I am Ren Hemlock" I said.
"Well, that's a nice name Mr. Hemlock." Hagrid had said, saying nothing else.
"While you two get familiar with each other, I will make some dinner for us" My mother said, going towards the kitchen.
I observed the mysterious man's appearance. His skin was rough, while he also has brown hair. He also has blue eyes, and is really tall, he also appears to be in his mid-twenties. I then noticed he had a knife, or specifically a dagger.
"Why do you have a dagger on your belt Mr. Millis?" I asked feeling confused on why he has a dagger.
Mr. Millis then chuckled and looked at me.
"For a lot of reasons, Mr. Hemlock." He said looking at me even more.
I was confused at what he meant, and then everything went black.
