Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The wedding
The wedding ended in the way the bride wants it to happen. And ostentatious wedding everyone on her batchmates could envied. After the church venue everyone proceeds to the reception area, the ' Lush Hotel '. There they experienced the living of elites for hours. Then the newly wed gaves surprised party to her guest. Everyone had fun, and before the guest lives she announced a stay for the lucky people she choose to stay on the hotel and sleep there for free. Infact she just wants to have more fun and she still has more words to say. You can see the lucky chosen people are those whom she wants to get jealous of her, the people she made friends. And these includes the friendsis.
" You guys are so lucky. Just imagine you have chosen to stay here for a night, and the expenses is on me." She arrogantly says. Making the everyone surrounds her sarcastic.
Rossini was sipping her champagne while her classmates and friends only listens to her. They laugh when she laughs, and agrees what she says. But the fact is, everyone knew she would act that way. After all she was the princess of pride. And everyone also knows the expense was from her corrupt politician uncle, who supports her every family request can ask.
Meanwhile, Lemy who was on the corner of the table was in distress. Nizsha who promised to attend has no presence to feel. The chair she preserve still has a wind. She can no longer hold her annoyance towards the boastful bride. Then Rossini caught her attention being the lonely Lemy.
" Lemsie you seems alone? Where is my storyteller?"
Rossini was the toppest fun of Nizsha when it comes to storytell. Nizsha tells extraordinary stories back in the ages. But when they were highschool the wind changed. Nizsha's listeners vanished and begin to search their prince at young age.
" I don't know, maybe she'll come maybe not." Lemy replied.
"Or maybe she's late. One of Nizsha's character was laziness and tardiness." Angel motioned.
The table tenesed.
"Yeah right, I almost forgot that attitude of her's. Thanks Angie for reminding me." Rossini responds.
Then they started to gossip Nizsha. Some are interested some are just acting they were listening. Lemy bite her lower lip listening to false accusations these people spreads about her friend. She can't believe she was only there listening about them backstabbing her best friend.
Then from a far they heard her loud voice. It was apologizing to someone. It was because she stumbled on the luggages of on the hotels guest.
" Stupid as always." Rossini said while disgustingly staring at the approaching Nizsha.
"Sorry Rosi I'm very too late. I just finished something at school, you know sophomore years are in bumpy roads." Nizsha said smilingly and settled in the vacant chair Lemy prepared.
"You're arrival was right on time. Cause we were just talking about you!" Rossini sarcastically replied.
"Really? What is it about me?" Nizsha who was confused.
"It's about your academic, I heard your grades in your major are lower than your minor subjects."
Nizsha smirk when she heard it. She understands what these Rossini wants to happen. And that is to compare her grades.
"Well, you heard it right."
"Maybe your siblings were sad, cause they spend money for you to be in a famous college's but your efforts lacks."
The tenesed begins. And everyone on the table feels and understands that Rossini was mocking Nizsha. Rossini's husband change the topic and turns to ask Jennifer about how was his training as a maritime student. Then everyone share and laugh at each other's experiences towards their courses. Only you can see that Rossini evily stares at Nizsha. And Nizsha can do nothing but catched her looks by glimpse and smiles ungenuinely.
" I almost forgot, it's a tradition to open gifts from the guest. Maybe We should do it Honey." Rossini interrupts.
Then everyone agrees. Rossini ask Nizsha for her gift. Cause she would like to open it first.
" My gift was not that much." Nizsha who was happy and was also thrilled.
Then the couple unwrapped the gift and it was a unique tumbler with a unique printed design. But Rossini shows a sign of disgustment. Then she move to Ynah, Nizsha's couzin who was more fortunate than her. And as expected Ynah gave a luxurious couple's shoe. And everyone claps. Then the groom ask Lemy's gift. And Lemy apologizes for she forgets to bring a gift for the couple. Her classmates comforts her, cause she not the only one who doesn't bring gift. The air should be okey but the groom added....
"Was that rich boyfriend of your's became stingy?"
"What do you mean by that?" Lemy asked.
"Playing dumbed bella? Every boys all know your a gold digger." The groom angrily replied.
Here's a little history because Lemy was a belle inside and out, a lot of guys pursue and it includes the Groom Lester. He also confesses his affection towards Lemy and he was Fredo's rival for Lemy's attention. Lemy can't hold herself but slaps the groom. The bride rages in anger and pushes Lemy hard that causes her to fall. She also asked her to leave the hotel. And out of embarrassment Lemy left with no word.
Nizsha follwed her but Lemy was too fast and easily gets a cab and left. Nizsha felt her friend and empathize her. She returned to the party and confronts the newly wed couple. She took the wine glass and strikes the glass with a strong force impact of spoon and it causes the glass to shattered, along with everyone's attention. Nizsha's looks were cold. And Ynah her couzin sensed something is going to be fun.
" Thank you for all your attention. I just want to gave a toast to the newlyweds. Cause I am living early cause after all I am the Kill Joy ttpe of a person. So let me take it to the fullest." She started then took Lemy's wine glass and raise it and continues.
" I just want to gave short sweet message to my dearest friend Rossini for her undeniable love towards me and her classmates. Thank you for inviting us. For letting us feel the luxurious experience. You ask me earlier if does my siblings regret sending me to an expensive school. Well let me tell you what, they don't regret it, because I am still continuing my study cause I didn't got pregnant at early age. And they believe I can repay them in the future. Also may you always take care of your husband cause he still can't move on how he got dumped by his idol. You know what Lester, Im glad Lemy doesn't choose you. Cause if you were the one she choose maybe Lemy should be the one's who got pregnant and ruined her dreams. May you stay strong and live, happily, ever, after." Then drinks the wine and drops the glass on the floor.
"Ooppss... Sorry to break the glasses, well I still remembered I am one of the lucky guest and everything in expense was on the bride. Thank you, Good bye and good night."
Everyone was shocked. Because the truth is Nizsha attended the beginning 'til the last part of the wedding. She just can't reveal herself first cause the wedding was one of her target on a social experiment. She live the crowd smiling and make the bride rages like fire and defame her husband.
