Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Efforts not being rewarded and something unexpected

After canceling the 48th birthday celebration with Rose, Tony began to seek options for a careerchange. After hours of surfing on the internet, there was a website that offered different kind of certification courses to could boost ones resume. Data from prominent magazines were added to make the courses look more accredited and wanted by many wellknown international firms. The first week was to free for anyone to start the course and after a period of time, a monthly subscription was being extracted per creditcard. At the beginning it did not seem as much, because the focus was on getting certified and being hired by a company right away after the certification. Again, time and effort were being sacrificed to gain the status of a professional as commercialized by the website. Starting in january and achieving the certification in june, felt like arriving at the summit after a hard challenging climb. Yet again the expectations of Tony in landing a job on the jobplatform was very high. With great spirit, a profile was created on a wellknown business platform to get noticed by employers. One jobapplication after the other, Tony's skillset and certification, did not seem to fit in the profiles of the offered job applications. One company, an Airline even had him fill several registrationforms in and asking when he was able to start working. They friendly replied the day after, that he was rejected due to the response on one of questions.
