Chapter 145: [141] "World Awakened Academy"

The plane doors opened and Jiwoo got off. The first thing he saw was another Rolls-Royce waiting with a man dressed in a suit standing in front of the car.

The man bowed and saluted. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Jiwoo."

Jiwoo returned the greeting and the man opened the car door for him. Jiwoo got in and then the man opened the passenger door for Wilford, closed it and took the pilot's seat. He started the car and together they drove away from the airport.

The car stopped at the gates of the World Academy, and Jiwoo and Wilford got out. The four guards at the gate frowned at first upon seeing them, but they quickly remembered that they had an important guest and reacted accordingly. They bowed and greeted the group.

Jiwoo returned the greeting and followed Wilford into the academy. As they toured the facilities, they met some students who looked at him, recognizing him.

Wilford stopped in front of an office and said, "This is the principal's office."

"Thank you," Jiwoo said, and Wilford opened the door for him before leaving and closing it behind him.

Jiwoo saw Garrith, who stood up and walked over to shake his hand and greet him. "It's a pleasure to have you here," Garrith said.

Jiwoo bowed and responded. "The pleasure is mine".

Garrith frowned and thought. 'He is very humble...'. Then, he pointed to a seat and said. "Let's sit down and talk," as he shared a look with Jiwoo and the cats next to him.

"Thank you," Jiwoo commented as he took his seat. Garrith sat on the seat across from Jiwoo, crossing one leg over the other.

Jiwoo also crossed one leg over the other, and his aura completely changed, radiating confidence and calm.

This change surprised Garrith, Kayden, and Kartein, while Ares just smiled.

Kayden smiled upon seeing this change, while Kartein sighed with a slight smile.

'This attitude cannot be seen in an ordinary Awakened young man, you can tell he is special,' Garrith thought.

The two had a brief conversation that didn't last long.

Jiwoo left the office and walked out of the building, accompanied by his cat.

As he left, many guards and students watched him. Jiwoo took off his suit jacket and held it in her forearm, loosening the tie a little, and began walking towards where she had been told his room was. His presence did not go unnoticed in the academy.

As he walked towards his room, he was interrupted by a young man with short brown hair and blue eyes.

"You are Kayden Break's disciple, right?" the young man asked authoritatively.

Jiwoo frowned and replied. "Yeah".

"Let's fight," the young man said proudly.

Jiwoo frowned, but he nodded and responded. "Alright".

The students began to surround them, forming a circle, while the guards observed the situation without intervening.

The young man sighed contemptuously and said. "As arrogant as they say, do you know that your brother killed my father?"

Jiwoo looked at him unfazed, which only angered the young man even more.

and. "My name is John Roy, and my father, Harper Roy, died at the hands of your brother. So you will pay me back," he said, as a dark green aura began to envelop him.

Before he could react, Jiwoo entered his guard and, in the blink of an eye, connected his fist into John's stomach, sending him flying and crashing into the nearby structure. The force of the blow generated a shock wave of wind and dust that made the hair and clothing of those present ripple.

Kayden smiled devilishly along with Ares, while Kartein shook his head in disagreement.

Jiwoo stood up determinedly, surprising everyone present, and muttered. "What was his name?"

The students' faces turned grim and surprised by Jiwoo's incredible speed, as did the guards, who watched the destruction caused with amazement and concern.

Jiwoo silently observed the crowd, who looked at him with surprise on their faces. He remembered Ares' words: "Show no mercy, if someone challenges you, attack them the moment you feel the slightest danger." Then he remembered Kayden's words: "You're always ready to fight, you never know what can happen." His words echoed in his mind as he assessed the situation.

The crowd parted in one place, allowing three people to pass through. On the right, a woman with red hair and pink eyes, with two small blue horns. To the left, a tall man with long white hair that fell in two braids to his chest. In the middle of them, a woman with a noble and calm attitude, with long white hair and blue eyes.

Leah looked at Jiwoo, who didn't have a speck of dust on him and seemed completely unconcerned. Then, she turned her gaze towards John, who was embedded in the wall, and asked. "You are Kayden Break's disciple?"

Jiwoo nodded and responded. "Yes, and who are you?"

Jiwoo's words caused everyone present to frown, including Leah. However, she kept herself under control and responded. "My name is Leah Eresby and I am the president of the student council."

Jiwoo frowned and muttered. "Student council?"

"We enforce the rules," Leah responded.

"I haven't broken any rules. Why are you here then?" Jiwoo replied without understanding the situation.

Leah frowned again as she realized Jiwoo's true doubts and responded. "Did they explain the rules of this academy to you?"

Jiwoo shook his head and responded. "Not yet, my brother just told me that you could fight anywhere in this institution."

Leah's face turned grim, as did those present, and she said. "You are kidding, right?"

"Do you think I would joke with my brother's words?" Jiwoo said seriously.

"I'm afraid to tell you that that's not true, what your brother told you," Leah said.

Jiwoo frowned.

"It is forbidden to use your powers outside of the Combat Coliseum, and you can only fight if you make a formal challenge," Leah commented.

Jiwoo understood and said. "I understand, I apologize."

His apology surprised everyone, including Leah.

"But he was the one who attacked me first. If someone had told me that you couldn't fight here, we would have gone to the Colosseum to fight," Jiwoo commented.

After a moment of silence, and receiving no response from anyone, Jiwoo took off his tie and placed it over his suit jacket that he had on his forearm. Then, he asked again. "Do you have anything else to tell me or can I leave?"

"No, I have nothing more to tell you. You can leave," Leah commented.

Jiwoo looked at Leah and said. "I will remember your name. Should I meet with you if I have any questions?"

"Yes, I'll be happy to provide you with any information you need," Leah replied calmly.

"Thank you, Leah Eresby," Jiwoo responded gratefully before turning to head towards his room. The students moved aside unconsciously, opening the way for him.

The red-haired girl next to Leah let out a whisper. "It's magnificent..." she said as she slowly slid her tongue across her lips.

"His attitude is far beyond my imagination, that confidence he just showed..." Leah commented with amazement in her tone of voice.

"What will we do with him?" asked the tall man, with braids in his hair.

Leah was silent for a moment before answering. "I have to keep an eye on him, he worries me that he might use his brother again."

"It must have been a lie, right?" the red haired girl asked.

Leah answered uncertainly, "I don't know, but he said he wouldn't play with his brother's words, so we have to consider that he meant it. And you also know the personality of his brother and his teacher."

No one responded, creating an awkward silence. Leah exchanged glances with John and then one of the guards before saying determinedly. "Take him to the infirmary, and when he wakes up, let me know so I can answer for breaking the rules."

Leah turned and walked away, followed by her two companions.

….

Jiwoo walked away, with each step getting further away, as he nervously thought, 'Was what I did right?'

And she began to remember the classes in which Ares had taught her how to act arrogantly, the precise words to unnerve and enrage his enemy, as well as how to maintain an arrogant attitude.

{It's okay, you acted like I taught you,} Ares said telepathically, reassuring Jiwoo.

Jiwoo looked at Kayden, Kartein, and Ares, and a proud smile formed on her face. All his worries vanished and a feeling of happiness washed over him.

"Jiwoo," several voices were heard accompanied by rapidly approaching footsteps.

Jiwoo turned around and saw Wooin, Jisuk, and Subin running towards him. A smile appeared on his face and, upon meeting each other, the four of them hugged each other.

"I arrived," Jiwoo said.

"Yes, you came," Wooin, Subin and Jisuk responded in unison.

Wooin, Subin, and Jisuk helped Jiwoo get to his room, and later, together with Gangseok, they decided to go out to explore the place. During their exploration, they met Arthur, who kindly guided them to see all the places.

Meanwhile, Sucheon stayed in his room training.

At night, Jiwoo had a meaningful conversation with Inhyuk and Seongha about his trip.

….

[Director's office]

Garrith was sitting in the head chair in front of his desk, surrounded by stacks of papers, when he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," Garrith said as a formally dressed man entered. He bowed and reported. "Mr. Jiwoo fought a student in an illegal place."

Garrith sighed and responded. "It doesn't matter, I already assumed these things were going to happen."

The man frowned, but nodded and left.

Garrith settled into his chair and considered. 'Not even a day can I be calm, but hey, at the end of the day, he is that man's disciple, it will be difficult to make him not fight.'
