Chapter 2: Chapter 1 (Edited)
It was very cold and It was also raining heavily outside. I just finished reading the novel that I started reading yesterday. To be completely honest, I'm quite disappointed with it...The main character is such a scum!
I sighed as I prepared my things for school. I also have to pass my research paper today, but, luckily I've already finished it last night before reading the novel.
I was holding the door knob while my other hand was carrying an umbrella "Mom, I'll go now!"
"Okay sweetie. Don't you want to have some breakfast first before leaving?.." Mom said as she slowly walked towards me from the kitchen.
I shook my head while smiling a bit "No need mom, I'll be late if I stayed a bit longer".
"Okay. Then be careful and have fun okay?" mom said while smiling as she gently pats my head. My mom is such a warm person and for some reason I want to stay longer but I would really be late now.
I nodded as I smiled back "Okay mom, thank you" I hugged my mom tightly before leaving. How long has it been since the last time I hugged her like this? I also don't quite remember but my mom hugged me back and gently gave a kiss on top of my head.
"You go now sweetie" I nodded and left.
As I was walking down on the road, I am on my way to the bus station, I could feel the rain getting stronger and stronger. There are also loud noises of thunder in the sky.
I felt kinda panicked thinking that my research paper would get wet so I started running. After running for a while, I can finally see the bus station in my vision so I smiled and ran faster despite being tired for running after a while.
Suddenly, while I was running a lightning struck me. Before I could even feel the pain, I couldn't see anything but black.
I felt regret leaving the house...What if I just stayed a little longer to eat breakfast with my mom? Will this happen to me? Haha...Atleast I yave her a hug for one last time right? Hm....I guess this really is my death then...
Before I could even fall deeper into the darkness, my vision slowly turned brighter and brighter until I could see my surroundings which is white and there is also something like a smoke...No was it clouds? It feels like I'm barefoot and stepping on a smooth cold tile.
I was very puzzled. Didn't I die? Then where am I? I was deep in thoughts when suddenly there's a voice of a mighty old guy behind my back.
"Worry not, you are not dead yet...Well you're already dead but not totally dead"
I turned around to see where the voice is coming from. I see an old yet kinda muscular man with white beard and hair like a lion.
"Who are you?..And where am I?" I asked the old man but he laughed.
"I am god! Well to be precise- I am the God of the world where you used to live!" Oh...Turns out god is real then...All these time, I was an Atheist...Well nevermind- atleast, now I know he exist.
"Well uhm God? You said that I'm not dead nor I was I alive? What do you mean by that?" God scratched his head and coughed.
"Well you see...Last night We were having a banquet and We kinda you know showed the worlds that We're handling and that other stupid god accidentally tapped the place where you are so yeah..." I was so shocked when I heard that. I also got mad from what he said.
"So I died because of your carelessness?" I don't care if he's a God, I was an Atheist by the way. It feels like my death was very worthless that I'm so angry.
"Erm uhm...Sorry about that. I must admit it was indeed our fault but don't worry! That god that I was talking to you about earlier was thinking of a compensation. He will let you reborn into one of the worlds that he's handling!"
I became more angry when I heard that "Do you think I'm that easy?? How about my mother back on Earth?! She's all alone now! Can't you just let me go back or something?!"
God looked down guiltily and sighed "If I could, I would do it right at this moment but i cant. Even if I myself is a god, there are still some rules we must follow. Once a human died, you cannot bring him nor her back into that world he/she used to live or else it would cause chaos in the world's order".
I kind of understand but I also couldn't, how about my mom?? God looked at me and noticed what I'm worried about "Don't worry, I promise you that I'll give your mother a great life and won't make her life miserable"
I looked up to God and asked "Will you really do that for me?" God nodded and smiled at me "I will and I promise".
After God told me that, I should be mentally prepared. he said that he'll give me a blessing before I leave. I'm still thinking about my mom back on Earth so I really never got the time to ask him about what it was. I guess I'll just find it out myself.
