I also tried to do self-awakening, but it didn't work. In novel they never mentioned how to do it. After some thinking I concluded, if I want to awaken I need a magic awakening stone. My totem vessel can also act as a magic awakening stone. Let's give it a try. After sometime I entered my spiritual world, this time I tried communicating with my totem vessel. After connecting I entered its spiritual world there was nothing in it. After that I returned to my spiritual world. Then I started thinking how will it help in awakening, I tried many thing nothing seem to work. Then out of frustration I started shouting .
"What the hell is wrong with it? 'I just wanna awaken my element' damn it. why doesn't it work?"

The most common are Earth, Water and Light, while Wind and Ice are rarer, Ice is valued more by Wind due to its ability to deal damage and slow monsters.
Fire are valued greatly among Novice-Tier mages as it is one of the three elements that can deal damage and is the 2nd most damaging element for Novice-Tier mages, typically a class of 40 students only have 2-3 students awakening this element.
Lightning Element is the rarest, often hailed as less than 1 in 1000 people will awaken Lightning. It is also the most powerful in Novice-Tier as Black, White and Dimension Magic are still not available for awakening, under normal circumstances, until the Mid-Tier.
In white magic we have 4 types:
Plant magic it entangles the enemy and traps the enemy by making them incapacitated.
Healing magic helps in healing wounds and there is also a saying 'the Parthenon' fairy can bring back the dead to life.
Sprit / physic magic helps in communicating, detecting, pacifying and taming magical beasts, and also to attack and defend the soul. Common elemental magic can't defend against soul based attack, must use specific defensive magic tool or must possess the spirit magic.
Blessing magic, It is basically boosts the power of any element temporarily, it also increases the natural recovery speed of stamina and health, and some people who attained very high mastery in this element can permanently increase power of an element, and it is directly depended on the mastery of the mage the higher the mastery, bigger the boost provided by it. This element is rare and people of this element is highly regarded all over the world.

Undead element or Necromancy, it very popular and commonly seen in Egypt, it helps to summon various weapons of bones and later stages helps to enslave undead and summon horde of undead from hell, and open gates of undead etc.
Shadow element, helps to move, hide, fly, duplicate and make puppets etc. using shadows. We can trap the enemy using shadow nails which is materialization of shadows. We can create domain in which boosts shadow element strength and suppresses other elements. At super tier you can create shadow soldiers or summon them from underworld.
Poison element, with extensive knowledge of poisons one can create deadly poison kills in instant or create medicine for dying person. At initial stage create breath of poison, refine poison, or crate darts of poison for attack. Create devouring wasps and revenge fly's, poison armor –body turns into hulk. Can also cultivate insects for your bidding.
Curse element, induces fear, traps enemies and deal fatal damage to soul, summons demon and devours soul, some may do ritual and summon the demon and make a deal for turn into their form temporarily or permanently. And at panicle some may curse the life of target and manipulate soul and body.
Demon element, can only possessed by people by crushing the demon blood bead, and requires soul sacrifice and immense magic power for using it. only people born with dual or triple innate element can survive the demon element. It give immense strength and merges all element turns you into demon, if you signed contract with any summon beast or undead you will get their characteristics and powers.
In dimensional magic we have 4 types:
All dimensional magic are rare. Listed in rarity among them:
Sound element: it helps to produce disturbing sound, increase the kinetic energy of sound. Send messages, sounds directly to soul. Sound waves comparable to cannon ball, imprints explodes when we want etc. and many other sounds which are extremely harmful to both caster and target. And boosts mental power.
Summoning element: can from contract from other dimensional beasts to help, can from contract with same dimensional beast and keep it in contract space, can summon a horde of beasts from other dimension. Can summon powerful beast from other dimension without contract temporarily, summon powerful without contract permanently.
Space element, can do telekinesis, space compression, space expansion, increase gravity in space, in stop/slow time in space. teleportation, cleave space, establish space and control at will. Void space – anything comes in contact will be torn to pieces.
Chaos/void element: change direction, chaos whirlpool: whirlpool absorbs magic attacks and returns them with 20% increased power. Can create copies of objects out of magic until limit is reached. Yet to find more uses of it. Basically this element has unlimited potential.
