Chapter 89: Evil Energy/ Arrogant Lady

"Thank god you are fine Miss Hunt. I thought one of my enemies had  attacked you." Mr. Stephen said with a sigh of relief. When he got the news of Angelina's accident he felt a sense of guilt and started to overthink things. He even imagined if he hadn't invited Angelina to his office her life wouldn't be in danger.

Angelina's gaze was on Mr. Stephen's face as she didn't miss a single change in his facial muscles. 

"You must have thought that after having a meeting that day must have brought me bad luck. Am I right or am I right?" Angelina teased him.

Mr. Stephen was stunned after hearing her and thought about the possibility of bringing bad luck. He shook his head at his stupid thought process and said, "I am not that superstitious. But your words put me in self doubt. Now, I am starting to think that I really had brought you bad luck that put your life in danger."
