Chapter 1: Prologue:The Entrapment Of An Ancient Fiend

The Castle Of Medina, Kingdom of Medina, Province Of Macedonia 520 B.C...

Thousands of ferocious howls filled the thick night air as vast numbers of troops gathered from both Roman and Greek forces marched their way into the dreaded and heavily fortified territory of Medina, the battles between the beasts from this vile province and the men of mortal fiber were waged seemingly without end as many a man pledged their sons in force to the noble cause of The Ordo Argenteus. An order formed in a bid for mankind to see the end of the horrible creature known collectively as The Father Of Manbeasts. They knew him well as a highly valued General of both their armies as he'd been formerly known as Lyciadias Of Medina, second Prince of the province and son of former Macedonian regional King Myron of Medina and the barbarian-born Lady Maeva of Cypress daughter to former barbarian King Beorhtwulf of Cypress.

The constant barrage of warfare did little to improve the mood of the horrific King Lycidas as he sat upon his throne enraged at the gall of his foes to team up and strike at him at their convenience. At first glance, Lycidas could be seen as a strangely handsome man with long dark locks that appeared black due to his partial Greek heritage and keen grey eyes that seemed as deep and dangerous as the churning of the ocean during a particularly vicious storm. He stood at an impressively towering height, but his body was lean and defined by ridged muscle due to his long years of combat prowess on many a battlefield.

His upper body remained armorless as he fought better without it given his sleek combat abilities and preference for being light on his feet. There was also another reason, his wolfish grin spread across his naturally handsome face which had been covered via a black beard thick and as imposing as the rest of him. His hands were at the ready gripping the steel of his most favored blade a wolf's head crest at the hilt. His pale palm clasped it tightly awaiting the word from his most trusted and highly intelligent sons of the news the supposed new attack brought.

The silver ring fashioned in the shape of a wolf's head matching the crest on his sword remained on his middle right finger as he pondered the events that occurred. The sounds of slaughter were unmistakable as the scent of blood wafted in the air below his castle. Their enemies were quite resourceful breaching the gates and stone walls long put up, due to the paranoid delusions of the previous king of Medina, Lycidas' deranged father, Myron.

Superstition long ruled the lands under the leadership of Myron, who had been plagued by the fears of having a son born on the eve of the blood moon. A son that later came to be called Lycidas Of Medina. How right he had been about the twisted monster who would one day darken the halls of his kingdom and slaughter all who had not the mindset to submit to his domination.

Lycidas did not fear death, he'd had his fair share of it during his lifetime. Slain for the sole purpose of being prevented from obtaining the crown which many had wished to see him wear in place of his mentally deranged father and as opposed to his selfish and cowardly elder brother. How unnerved they were when he made his return as the hellish fiend they grew to fear.

Maeva of Cypress entered the throne room, she was quite a sight with a voluptuous figure barely concealed via the expensive materials used to make her scarlet dress and leather-bound boots. She looked no older than the age of thirty as she stood before her only son and ferocious liege. Her long red locks swayed to her movements as she walked draped over her shoulders and cascading in seemingly slow motion as she came to a stop. There was tension in the air upon her arrival and although she had not said a word, her son could tell right away that there was something on her mind.

Her eyes weary and her hands trembling, she took time to scan the throne room. There wasn't any member of the court in sight nor any of the other armor-bearing children she birthed after that of her son the king of Medina. She had heard the onset of war outside the castle and knew all too well that the mobilized army of mortals would invade the castle if they ever got the upper hand in combat. More sounds of laughter filled the air as Lycidas arose from his seat on the throne and approached her.

His lean muscled body a drawn to the eyes as his long black locks flowed against his exposed pale back and shoulders, his chest was given to battle scars, but not so off-putting as not to be equally appealing to the eye when noticed. A most peculiar scent had caught his attention the moment she entered the throne room and began to radiate off his mother in waves. A deep and unintended feral growl escaped his throat as he reached her sheathing his blade as he pulled her close. Her scent had always intrigued him, the very nature of it calming as he opened his mouth to trail a series of kisses along her pale neck.

She'd been just as cursed as he. The mother that bore the monster from her womb, although he had not always been as such, and nor had she. Her tainted womb bore only monsters ever since she'd rebirthed him, felled from her faith via grief and anguish over the loss of her only son, she had fallen prey to the witches who had driven King Myron into madness over the foretelling of the son born under the blood moon.

"You are trembling,g," said Lycidas as if he'd been amused once she pulled away from him and came into his full view.

Maeva attempted to regain her composure as she sought a way to appease her son. The desire behind his dark and murderous eyes had not been lost on her and there was little she could do to dissuade him as she knew all too well that he never cared for the trivial concerns of mortals nor those he deemed weak in mind. The imposing beast of a man seemed to relish her girlish timidness and circled her as if one would prey when stalking a hunt. His eyes flickered again with heat behind them as she always seemed to increase his excitement whenever he caught wind of her very scent. Lycidas stalked his mother until she came to the center of the throne room attempting despite the circumstances to suppress her nature.

The nostrils of the fiend flared as her scent became more inviting. His mouth opened following his wolfish grin and he followed close behind as she collapsed into the center of the room, an oppressive heat filling her as she moaned and clawed at the very fabric of her formerly expensive garments.

Feverish hands sought to bring comfort to the ache between her thighs as more heat enveloped her causing her to moan outright while writing along the cold stone floor. Her eyes held both shock and hatred as she knew all too well what her traitorous body craved and was less inclined to adhere to it.

It wasn't long before the accursed pull had gotten the better of the fiendish king, who had ripped away his trousers and dropped down on all fours stalking her as the intense growling once more erupted from his throat and she rolled onto her knees whimpering as she clawed away the remains of her undergarments desperate in her attempt to get relief as the unbearable heat set in as it always had. While her mind had been on the war, her body wished to indulge her mate no matter the consequences.

A fate is most cruel set upon her via the monstrous witches who had duped her into their service and bound her to the fiend they had always sought to create. The whimpering increased as Lycidas pounced crawling up behind her and positioning his lean muscular form with his enormous pale appendage leaking in his haste to venture where her warmth desired. The heat that enveloped them both was quite the distraction and refused to be denied. Maeve moaned when she felt the all too familiar intrusion of her only son's cock spreading her insides and driving itself into the slick heat that begged both of their attention.

Lycidas growled, the deep feral sound of a beast in heat as he gripped the stone beneath her body and his fiendish fingernails began to claw at the surface. Feeling little more than the intensity of his need, he began thrusting into the very womb that had given him life so many odd years ago and rebirthed him as the fiend so many feared this day.

This was not by any means the first time he ventured into the territory of the forbidden as far as his mother had been concerned, and it was not to be the last due to the two of them being bound as eternal mates. Maeve moaned as her son's pace increased and her womb welcomed him as the war continued to be waged beyond the castle walls. Unable to hide her nature any longer, her emerald green eyes shifted into an unseemly yellow and she began to give in to the intensity of her lover's desperation.

Lycidas was as strong and domineering in the art of love-making, if one could call it that as he had been on the battlefield and when seated upon the throne. Had his mother not been granted the gifts of his formidable curse after having birthed him, she might not have survived any of their more spirited encounters.

For all of its beastly nature, the curse had served a purpose. It was put in place to not only keep Maeva bound to the will of the twisted beast she brought forth but to mass produce a massive army of hideous monsters twisted from their very conception into the form of humanoid beasts with the appearance of a wolf and the bodies of men fur covered and vicious to all aside from their forbearers. The numbers swelled and the casualties were amassed when the walking abominations burst forth into the world born in packs like that of a natural wolf from their accursed elder brother and whore bound mother's vile acts.

Outside The Castle Walls...

Nicodemus of Medina led his most prominent members of The Ordo Argenteus to the front gates of the very kingdom he had once called home. He had been the favorite in this outcome to challenge his cursed brother and fell him once and for all. It was a difficult task for the determined soldier as he had once loved Lycidas who had always protected and doted on him when they were children. Despite the heavy task at hand, Nicodemus vowed to bring his brother peace which eluded him in life, and was robbed of him after his first death as it were. The men were no fools, they had studied the accordance of the curse and knew full well that Lycidas himself was immortal and as such could never truly be done away with but his numerous bastard children of abomination could be felled with silver blades and decapitation methods.

Maeva herself was also bound to the immortal side of things, but it was from her tainted womb that these abominable monstrosities were birthed, and keeping her away from Lycidas and his impish seed would see an end to their spawns from hell terrorizing the people. In the hopes of appealing to Maeva's sense of humanity, for what little remained, Nicodemus asked for her assistance in putting an end to the pain and suffering that both she and Lycidas had caused.

Nicodemus was shocked by her willingness to agree despite her bond to her son-turned-lover and the fact that she birthed the monsters they were slaying. She had been the one to come up with a means for them to enter the castle and slaughter everyone in sight while she kept Lycidas distracted long enough for them all to breach the castle and take him down.

The heavily focused dark gaze of Nicodemus clad in silver armor of Roman and Greek design focused on the signal that Maeva had left for them to interpret how well the plan was proceeding on her end. When the signal came, he was ready rallying his equally silver-clad troops as they stormed the breach slaughtering any humanoid fiend they found in their path in a bid to get to the throne room. Blood for blood, claw for silver and steel, the constant clashing of combat seemed to echo throughout the kingdom as more and more humans and werebeasts fell due to the battle being waged between them.

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

The Throne Room, The Castle Of Medina, Kingdom of Medina, Province Of Macedonia 540 B.C...

The scent of burned flesh and the cries of mortal and werebeast alike filled the semi-darkened sky as Lycidas continued to have his fill of his mother thrusting his appendage repeatedly into the womb that bore him. His body though nude and pale by all accounts was slick with sweat from his efforts and his mother gripped him tightly needing only his body as her mind attempted to ignore the cries of her other children given to slaughter via her treachery. The mutual growls and groans filled the throne room as the vile act that had seen to the conception of thousands upon thousands of fierce werebeasts had come to an end following the rapid release that filled her womb for the umteenth time as Lycidas grew weak at that moment gasping for breath as his mind attempted to return to its natural state of awareness.

The disoriented king was far too late in his attempt as he caught sight of a wayward soldier attempting to rush him with a spear at the ready only to be thrown into a nearby wall as the vastly more agile king leaped from between his mother's thighs and onto his feet. His claws at the ready he slashed through much of the encroaching members of Nicodemus' order of warriors all clad in silver and brandishing blades equally made of silver. These artifacts had been useless as far as Lycidas had been concerned aside from slightly weakening him. For he had been immortal and alas unable to die.

Sweat slick and as naked as the day he was born, Lycidas remained a steadfast foe in the face of his enemies. He slaughtered half of the warriors that dared to enter his throne room the scent of their blood mixing with those of the children he sired in the wake of their forced entry. They had managed to do away with his vile children but he knew already many more had been conceived that day following his latest coupling via his mate.

"Nicodi," he growled taking into account the lingering scent of his only remaining sibling.

Nicodemus gripped his sword staring down his elder brother in the hopes of getting through this battle without much fuss. He had no intention of dueling the manbeast at all if he could help it as his brother's combat prowess far exceeded his own despite the former being his teacher in life before his subsequent first death and later cursed existence.

"Cus," replied Nicodemus taking note of their surroundings.

Lycidas seemed erratic with all the blood being spilled in his throne room and dripping from his pale sweat slick body. His excitement in every muscle twitch as well as in that of his appendage which had begun to make itself known despite the severity of the situation.

Maeva knew this day would come and dreaded it far more than anything else in the world. Although she had loved Lycidas his twisted paradise was that where every man was extinct and only rabid beasts roamed the world doing as they pleased forever hunting, eating, killing, and breeding as they saw fit. Not a single man woman or child was safe so long as he remained free to impose his will upon the unwilling.

She scrambled to her feet in the wake of the chaos trying her best to ignore the oozing sensation of her son's newly released seed seeping down her thighs as she watched him slaughter many a soldier clad in silver for the vengeance of his defeated children. While Lycidas loathed mankind as a whole, he cared very deeply for those of his blood and creation.

This sentiment is why Nicodemus, his protected younger sibling had survived his onslaught of the kingdom the first time. Even in his horrific state, Lycidas possessed some sort of blood memories of the bond they once shared. He had been the protector and defender of Nicodemus in his youth and had spared him after the fact.

"Have you come for my head at last Nicodi?" asked Lycidas with a wolfish grin. "Not that you could take it if you did."

"I am no kingslayer, but I cannot allow you to terrorize the free world," replied Nicodemus valiantly standing before his brother in defiance of his reign of terror.

"So be, it," growled Lycidas bearing his claws as he attempted to rush his younger brother.

He had not gotten far when the reflected light from a well-timed shield saw him stumbling backward and being rushed by the soldiers who had attacked in force as they pinned him to the ground binding him as quickly as they could via silver chains.

Maeva did her best to look away as Lycidas realized that his mother had been the reason behind the ambush and the chains being used on him. He had no real weakness in silver, but it required a good deal of effort to be rid of them. Effort that would buy much-needed time for the already weary men to find a way to ensure he could hurt no one else.

Lycidas struggled against the bindings killing as many that dared get close enough to him in the process. The bravest of the men carried the fiend out into the courtyard where they continued to hold his bindings. Eyes blazing in fury took in the site of the ruins and the bodies that surrounded them. Blood littered the ground as much as it had when his conquest first began. He continued to struggle against the bindings his fangs and claws evident and slashing through any flesh that dared get close enough to them.

Crimson blood oozed from his mouth and along his naked pale flesh as he glared into the eyes of his weary younger brother. The men placed his writhing form into a thick silver casket binding it with spells and enchantments that went along with four heavy silver locks thick enough to withstand the time frame he'd be placed in the coldest region of the world.

Maeva had not been so fortunate as to escape her fate as she too was sealed away in a casket made of silver five locks to sustain her chains and her twisted fate. Unbeknownst to the soldiers tasked with doing away with her, she'd already been impregnated with the newest army of werebeasts and set to be carried to the furthest corner of the world from her fiendish son and lover.

Nicodemus saw Lycidas being imprisoned in the arctic wastelands of the earth himself, fearing the day when the foolish would tread the land and free the fiend who had lived a thousand lifetimes. With the threats to humanity bound, all knowledge of the father of manbeasts and his mate were erased so as not to tempt any mortal into seeking them out utilizing challenge or assistance to upset the current order of the world.

The Kingdom of Medina was leveled to the ground and sealed away from the eyes of man in a bid to keep the secrets of the past hidden. The Imprisoned Manbeast King remained forgotten as well as his tenancy to seek out a means for bloodshed to be used for sport.
