Xanthus's POV:
One of my favorite hobbies always has been night hunting, where I usually won't even let Randall accompany me. The slaughtering sensation of the flesh of animals, their painful gnaws after being pierced by my arrows strangely provides me a bit of comfort whenever I feel under the weather.
To be honest, I am always angry.
Some may define me as a sadist by considering my violent gestures, but just residing in the castle and the atmosphere is more than enough to suffocate me. Being the Crown Prince, I know I am bound to this place for the rest of my life but sometimes the sight of blood or death provides me with a different kind of solace that my soul has been seeking for a long time.
I have asked myself several times…do I feel this way because I am not a human?
