P.O.V. { Xin Yan }
After the first day of class she decided to use her future knowledge to get a treasure which would help her cheat a lot.
Her cheat is a separate space where if you add items with Qi the amount of Qi becomes more. Right now it is only at 1.1 which comes from adding a bit of her recourse.
The treasure she goes after is a herb which is called the 'Earthly Flower Herb' which can make your body harder.
She isn't going to eat it but to add it in her space which should increase the Qi by a lot. She found the location because it was mentioned in the novel.
She would have gone earlier but the herb is guarded by a Peak Formation Realm beast.
After searching a while she finally found a cave matching the description of the novel.
'Just like the novel said this cave does give a creepy vibe'. She thinks and the slaps her face with both hands and says . 'I am a golden Core cultivator, I can survive some cave with a Peak Formation Realm beast'. While looking up at the sky with a smug smile.
'First i need to keep at the right side of the cave and find a hole'.
After finding the hole she jumps down and arrives in beautiful cave with a glowing flower in the middle on a patch of dirt.
While thinking of the beast hiding under the flower Xin Yan couldn't help bu sigh at the luck of the MC. The beast which had a much higher cultivation got injured because it failed to breakthrough the Golden Core.
'No need to sigh now, the herb is now mine'.
Xin Yan wants to take the herb but knows that the beast can also be a threat to her.
'it is better to walk there then the beast would probably jump at me and then I need to also jump while firing my bow'.
And just like she predicted the beast would try to get her from the ground and when she pierced it with her bow in the it is as good as dead.
it is her first time killing but luckily the memories from the previous host help her neutralize the disgust. When she tries to take the herb she feels another presence and says.
"Show yourself." She says while looking at the hole. After saying that she sees a person in black mantel and a fox mask and realizes that it is the person she bumped into.
"What do you want." she says in her most clod tone which isn't that intimidating. Xin Yan knows that in this world if you have something precious you must also have the ability to protect it or you may just disappear.
"Nothing, I just saw you and became curious. Don't worry I have no interest in that herb". Says the fox mask man. And although she doesn't trust him she lets down her guard a bit but makes a line on the floor with her Qi and says.
"If you really aren't interested in the herb don't cross this line". And goes to pick up the herb. When she is putting the herb in her space ring the fox man says.
"My name Jing Li, whats yours". Thinking it isn't smart to give her real name she makes a fake one.
"Luo Xiurong."
"You know it isn't good to give out a fake name miss Yan".
Hearing her name she instantly takes out a arrow and puts it on her bow and says in a threatening tone.
"How do you know my name".
"I am quite hurt you already forgot my name." Says the fox mask man while taking his mask of and making a obviously fake hurt expression.
Seeing the face made her surprised because she recognized the face. Xin Yan recognized the face not only because the both take beastiology but also because he is the younger brother of the playboy young master that is trying to force her.
the previous body owner had on good impression of him because he once helped her with dealing with his younger brother.
What surprised her is that from her memories and the rumors he always appeared to be a cold person who only cared about his clan and cultivation.
And seeing someone with a face like that and such and expression gave her virgin otaku self a feeling that this was a anime he nose would be spurting with blood.
In the end she apologized even though she did nothing wrong.
"I'm sorry. I just didn't expect someone like you to be here".
"No problem, I was also chancing my voice so it is normal you didn't recognize me". said Jing Li while giving a happy which makes him look like a puppy.
Hearing this Xin Yan wants to punch him but seeing his smile she abandons her anger and instead asks.
"What are you doing here."
"Well I had some business here. I was ready but seeing miss Yan here I became curious and followed you here."
Hearing this she became quite disappointed, she thought he would have some big secret but she understands that's just her otaku side taking over.
She has no business here anymore so she goes to the hole to go back but just when she wants to fly back up. Just when she was about to go a hand grabs her wrist and she hears.
"Miss Yan before you go. I haven't made a friend in the academy and I actually followed you here because I though that maybe we could become friends."
Hearing such words she is baffled because if he wanted almost everyone in the academy would want to be his friend even if it is just to suck up to him.
But seeing his pitiful expression she couldn't say no and gave him her Wechat account.
P.O.V. { Jing LI }
After seeing that black dot and getting closer to it he realized that it was the person who bumped into him before and his classmate called Xin Yan.
Before he didn't realize it but this girl gave him a terrifying feeling.
He understands that the only reason he feels this is because after getting his physique he also got the instinct of which souls he can eat.
While strong people gave him a feeling like a sleeping bear which wasn't scary. She gave him the feeling of a bear ready to utterly destroy his enemy's.
But just like the terrifying feeling she gave him this sense of opportunity. Like her body was made of treasure's.
He know has the options to turn away and try to avoid this girl in the future or try to make friends with her.
Trusting his instincts he knows that option one would be hard because his stupid brother is in the enemy category. And his instincts tell him that just his brother being her enemy will bring him also misfortune.
