Chapter 15: To the Library
Sunlight shone through the window panes of a large yet cozy house as a youth lay on his bed,with dark eye bags under his eyes.
The youth was named Mika.
He was a sudden reincarnator in this world and had just truly woken up yesterday from his blindness.
But certain people couldn't wait to celebrate his recovery and decided to do their humping business all throughout the night,with increased vigour comparable to newly weds!
'Who the hell F*cks all night ,are these people pornstars?',thought Mika with dark eye bags under his eyes.
Leaving him without a single wink of sleep.
Sigh..
Mika sighed as he sat up from his bed and walked towards the washroom to wash his face.
On the way to his washroom,he suddenly turned towards his door as he heard a knock.
Click!
Opening the door with a click he found a small basket full of towels and his new attire for his day along with a note written in big letters,'Good Morning'.
Mika smiled,looking at the note Rebecca had left and closed the door.
Going inside his washroom ,he completed his morning routine of freshening up and came out.
Standing in front of the mirror,Mika stripped down looking at his new body.
He was an inch taller than yesterday,about 5.5 inches and his malnourished musculature had developed as he looked much better.
He had some definations of muscles in the abdomen but they were miniscule compared to the bodybuilders he had seen in his previous life.
'Man!...I hope to get some abs this time'
'I will really look like a model at this rate if I get them in this body'
Sigh...
'But even then what's the point.Ill surely have too leave this body behind if I could get back home.'
'Im sure Maa won't recognise me if go back like this,hehe'chuckled Mika inside his mind.
Mika then moved on to his face.
His face was much more chiseled and defined than yesterday.His cheeks had become a little full as it lost its previous malnourished appearance.
His hair had also grown quite long and whitish as compared to yesterday which was not natural at all.
'Guess,this is what Rebecca ment by speedy recovery through the procedure', thought Mika while pulling his hair.
However the only problem with his some what near perfect physical appearance was his extremely stoic face and and dead pan appearance along with his scrutinizing gaze ,he looked mysterious and mature,both at the same time.
'Guess this runs in the family...',though Mika as he thought his stoic face was quite similar to Philip.
Even when he was inwardly happy and smiling ,all his face was a slight twich on his lips and nothing more.
As if someone was restricing his facial movements!
Shaking his head, Mika finaly wore his new white reneissance shirt and black pants with blackish embroidery on his abdomen along with similar looking high boots.
Combing his hair to the side,Mika looked at his facial features and tried smiling but alas, he couldn't.
"Stupid skill",muttered Mika.
Coming out of his room he came downstairs and walked leisurely towards the dining room where the scenery was similar to yesterday but with some glaring errors involved.
Slightly opening the door,Mika decided to peek as he heard sounds of muffled 'Muuah' s coming out of the room.
Peeking inside through the slightly opened door,he saw his beautiful mother who was cursing his father yesterday was now feeding her husband with a happy expression and kissing him on his cheek after every bite he took,while sitting on his lap, much to Philip's dismay.
She wore an obsidian black ,velvet gown with ample amount of cleavage showing and her hair was tied in a bun.
She had golden black earings on her delicate ears and red lipstick on her soft lips which were magically devoid of pigmentations now.
She looked extremely pretty,as if she was going on a date.
But as soon as Mika cleared his throat and entered the room,Linda became shocked as she blushed and moved away form Philip's lap and sat down near his seat.
Mika just looked away as if nothing happened and sat down beside his mother as silence permeated the room.
Rebecca then came in and served the food after which his mother started her daily dose of love and affection while feeding him,while Phillip started eating in silence.
And coincidentally the Auburn haired demon wasn't present in the room as well.
While Mika chewed on the egg omelette,Linda patted on his soulder and asked.
"What are you going to do today,honey~.Any plans you have for the day?"
"I'm going to visit the library,mother",replied Mika.
"Alright but don't push yourself ok.You are still recovering remember, and take it slow ,alright...",said Linda while kissing his cheek.
Mika smiled as he accepted her kisses,albeit with a fake one but inwardly he enjoyed being kissed by this beautiful woman on the cheek,even more so because it was his mother.
Linda then wiped his face of her lipstick marks and stood up from the table while picking up her hand bag.
Linda then brought forth her cheek infront of his lips and closed her eyes,asking for a kiss.
Mika complied and kissed on the cheek after which she walked towards the door and stood there waiting for Philip.
Philip then stood up from his seat and trudged towards Mika and patted on his shoulder and walked passed him towards his wife.
Linda then held his hands and both of them turned towards Mika and said in a happy tone.
"Bye Mika ! We are going for some work today.Make sure you eat your food and don't push yourself okay!"
"Dont wait for us and have your dinner okay,it might be late for us to come home and don't disturb Rebecca much as well ,Young man".
"Oh, and your tutor will be here by this weekend morning and we will also finalize your 'You know what',okay!",said Linda while winking.
Her husband, Philip,in response to her chattering just nodded at Mika and said,"Take care"
Mika just nodded looking at his parents going on a date.
'Man,that man slid into her DMs and went on a date the next day.'
'He is a real player I tell you', thought Mika while he watched his parents holding hands and kissing while they went out of the room.
Mika just sat there on the table while he chewed the remaining Chicken pieces and after gulping the fruit juice down ,he sighed.
Suddenly a woman popped up from behind his ears and stood there while looking at him.
Mika was frightened for a while but he sighed in relief as he let his guard down.
It was Rebecca!
Rebecca just stood there while looking at him before looking towards the window where he saw the couple getting up on a horse carriage while chatting happyly.
Rebbeca sighed and said in a low tone.
"Mistress was really devasted after you became retarded ,young master"
"Everyone gave up on you,even the master,but she didn't give up and just awaited the day you would wake up"
"Eventually her relationship with Master became distressed as they drifted apart..."
Rebecca paused for while before turning towards him and said with a smile on her face.
"It's thanks to you that their relationship is back on track and Mistress is also happy after you woke up"
Rebecca then bowed at the still chewing Mika and said in a broken voice.
"Thank You Young Master....for waking up ....and being alive"
Mika just looked at the bowing maid before standing up from his seat as he picked her up by her shoulder and patted her while saying.
"Thank you for taking care of me as well ,Reb",said Mika with a smile on his twiching face, albeit a fake one.
Mika then turned around and came out of the dining room, leaving behind a stunned maid as tear drops fell down her delicate cheeks.

'Man!..That was super awkward!'
'Why does she bow every time?You are older than me ,so why?
'And what does it have to do with me waking up anyway?'
'Just hump and produce new babies that's it's,what's new in that?',thought Mika as he came out of the room and strodded upstairs.
But this time he didnt go to his room but the third floor where his mother's office was.
Turning the knob of the door, which was coincidentally open,Mika went inside the room.
As soon as he entered the room, Mika's eyes constricted at the majestic sight of a big library of books filled his vision as the fresh smell of books entered his nostrils.
It's was majestic!
The books filled almost the entire room and the only thing comparable to furniture would be the office desk and the sofa inside the room.
Otherwise it was just three lanes of books.
'That crybaby is big book geek it seems'
Mika strodded towards the first lane of the library and he saw the first lane filled with only romance and adventure books.
Mika picked up a few interesting books, mostly the books with the adventure tag, the names being --'THE SECRET OF TUMBLEGORE' or 'SUCCIBI STEALS MY HEART'
'Wow what an irony of life.I am reading fantasy books in a fantasy world.....umm what were fantasy world's again....ugh..nevermind',thought Mika as he rubbed his forehead due to slight headache.
Coming out of his sudden headache,Mika cringed looking the title of the second book and he realised it was most probably an erotic novel featuring a SUCCUBI.
And he was god dammed right!
But looking at the synopsis,it looked like a good romance story and not something sinister as story depicted a normal man who fell in love with a poor succcbi and how he picks up a sword against other people and saves her and they life happily ever after with 10 children.
"She likes these things it seems ,but well, who am I to judge,"said Mika while keeping the books down.
He then went towards the 2nd lane and saw neatly arranged book which were mainly for the sole purpose of studying and not romance novels.
It had different versions of the same books in three different languages namely the Human ,The Beast and the Elven tongue.
It contained books regarding all subjects like,geo-politics,state affairs, economic reforms and most importantly maps!
Mika was excited to go through all of them but before he could ,certain books wrapped in chains caught his eyes while he peeked to look at the third lane.
Mika moved towards the books and tried tracing his fingers over them before getting electrocuted.
"Ouch",cried Mika while removing his hands.
The books were inevitably books filled with knowledge of the Arcane with different grades going from Low to Advanced all the way up to Saint.
Mika heaved a sigh of relief as he felt glad he had touched the book named--'Low tier Fire Magic'
He felt glad he had touched the low tier book as,if touching lower tier meant getting electrocuted then the advanced grades might have killed him instantly!
Mika decided not to look at them,not before he awakens his mana atleast.
Instead he returned back to the second lane and picked up some maps and books of his liking, sprawled them on the floor as he started reading.

12 hours later.
It was already evening but Mika continued reading all the books with small breaks in between.
He even went down stairs to have his lunch but came upstairs to study again.
He even told Rebbeca,much to her tension,not to make dinner for the night as he was reading books in his mother's library.
However,Rebbeca insisted on atleast taking a sandwich with him for dinner as she didn't want him to keep his stomach empty.
But despite Mika's apprehension,he complied and took up on her offer and had the sandwich for dinner.

It was already midnight now and every one was already asleep but Mika kept on reading and checking out the maps.
Finally he completed the entire library's 2nd lane in 16 hours,much to Mika's shock .
Mika returned back to him room and after killing the magic lamp he laid his head on his pillow while he thought about the last 16 hours.
He thought about how fast he had read atleast 1500 books in 16 hours as the library was insanely huge!
He was stunned as to how much information he could store inside his brain or how fast he could read!
He felt he had gained some ability or something!
But after seeing no new notifications on his status about a new skill,he could only blame his increased G+ intelligence.
'Wow!,if just a minor increase in intelligence can give me something similar to photographic memory then what will happen if it becomes S ranked?
'Can I crush soda cans by looking at them or can I disintegrate objects ?
Doesn't that make me a superhuman but ... Sigh....it should be common in this world...how can I be such an idiot!',thought Mika.
Shaking his head ,to remove unnecessary thoughts he decided to go through all the information he had accumulated in the last 16 hours.
