Chapter 3: There is only you and...me

Rose and Isa lived in the same countryside village and eventually became friends when they went to school together.

Luna didn't want to talk to anyone yet she knew that if she didn't answer her phone, Rose would come eventually to her apartment and she didn't want that, not now, because she was clueless about all the changes in the novel this time.

" Why did it take you so long to answer the phone? How was the first day at university? Sorry I was so busy and that is why I didn't join you, but I trust that you have been okay. " Rose asked a lot of questions like usual.

Luna sighed quietly then answered her:" It was not that good, I had some high expectations I guess"

" What do you mean? This one of the best universities in the entire country, Glario university is a dream for all the students and here you say that you didn't like it, you have always been this way, nothing impresses you, you are hopeless!"

" Maybe I am Rose, maybe I am!"

" Enough of your nonsense, did you unpack your baggage, if not leave it till tomorrow I will help you with it" Rose offered

" We both know that you are going to sit in my bed while you paint your nails, and I am going to do all the work, I prefer doing it right now " Luna declined her offer because she didn't want her to be here and see Liam.

She eventually didn't unpack anything, she just slept without notice, exhausted and in need of sleep.

The clock indicated eleven at night. She had already fallen asleep hours ago only to wake up to this annoying noise, the sound of music almost deafening her ears.

'Who is causing so much inconvenience at this late hour at night? ' She thought.

She wiped her eyes with her fingertips and then sat on her bed trying to comprehend what was happening.

The sound was coming from her neighbor's apartment.

'Why don't the neighbors say something about what's going on? '

She couldn't go back to sleep now...

Luna got up from her place, after a long time of desperate attempts to sleep to go outside the apartment very angry.

She checked all the apartments around her, the noise was indeed in the apartment next to her, the apartment that Liam Hoover entered earlier.

She hesitated for minutes while she was still standing next to her door, but when the noises didn't stop she just went there very pissed and knocked on the door violently so that he could hear it.

Seconds, Liam opened the door and unlike the last time she saw him, he was annoyed by her presence.

" Why don't you stop this music? I waited for a long time before I came here. This loud music is making it impossible for me to sleep and I really need to sleep now.
