Deaths in the city
The story starts in a city of India, Gwalior with police investigating a 16 year old boy Jai, wearing a white shirt covered with blood and mud, killed his whole family .....his mother,his father,,, as he is underage ,police are trying to understand his mental state,, the young boy have no signs of regret on his face..... he constantly repeats the words, " Finally i am free from jail.. ".He was in no state to answer the police questions.
The police enquired about the boy from the neighbours.They do not know a lot about his family, as his family don't like to be around people.They shift here merely 2 months ago and this boy never left his house in this whole period. His family have no close relatives,, The police believe that there is something wrong with this whole situation...the head of police asked his staff to bring a therapist for sessions with the boy so they could know more about this boy...till then the boy was kept in a jail,,but still he was repeating the words, " finally i am free from the jail...".
Mr. Ramesh Agarwal, a renowned therapist of Gwalior made his way into this story....
He asked the police officers about some details they enquired about this boy.....he also looked at the boy from outside the jail and then decided to enter the jail, he tried to speak to the boy but the boy paid no attention to him.....he understood that this is a going to be a tough job.. Ramu(Mr. Ramesh as he is called by his colleagues) asked him boy are you mad you are in a jail and you are saying you are free from jail..are you mad.....
This triggered the boy and he said ," it's not a jail as compared to where I have lived how i have lived....He further said, " you don't know what I have been through".
Ramu asked- what you have been through you killed your whole family you are a murderer a psycho killer,nothing more than that....
This angered the boy he slams the jails wall with his hand his hand got wounded but he didn't care he licked the blood from his hand and said, these external wounds are nothing as compared to the internal wounds that i have got....the pain,,, the loneliness in these 16 years i have suffered,no friends, family- chhhaaa(a disgusted sound) that is not a family they are jailers.... they were the real murderers not me..they killed the kid inside me,,,, they killed the passion inside me,,, they killed the life out of me,,, this is what you are seeing infront of you is just a mere body with no feelings,no emotions, nothing at all.
Ramu asked him, tell me the complete story....
The boy become silent again.....Ramu became frustrated and leaves the jail....
Next morning he heard a voice calling him Jai beta(son in Hindi) wake up, Jai beta,, it's already 9 and you are still asleep.he suddenly woke up and realised it was just a dream, he didn't not killed anyone,except for relief a disappointment comes on his face. He woke up and went infront of the mirror and realised that his face is getting a bit asymmetrical, he went downstairs and asked his mother about it but her mother refused and said it's as usual there is no change on his face.He didn't like this habit about his mother,,, he thinks that his mother wants him to be ugly so he cannot make any friends and he run back to his room....he was crying in his bed with pillow on the top of his face...he went infront of the mirror and started to talk to himself as he has no friends,,not because nobody liked him but because of his family. They never allow him to go outside the house.He peeped from the window to the outside world but for no avail as the window is only one sided visible he can see everyone but no one can see him.And all these rules are not applied to his brother, he was allowed to do whatever he wants to do.By the way his brother's name is Neel Avasthi.He (Jai) don't like his brother at all.Neel is 19 years old young boy and everyone likes him.His father,his mother all likes him....and this makes Jai jealous.He doesn't understand why Neel was given such previlage to go outside and he is not allowed.He came to a conclusion that they are not his real family and due to some reasons they are forced to raise Jai and that's why they are feeding him food and not let him starve to death...but these are all theories unless they are proved.....
