Chapter 2: CH2
In the darkness of the alleyway, a gang of boys were beating up a skinny black and white dog with bright yellow piercing eyes, that filled with glowing hatred at it's beaters but not having enough strength to do anything about it. The boys closed in again for the...what was it now?5?...7?...time. The dog lost count of how many beatings it had in a day let alone a week. Stepping forward again raising all kinds of weapons the dog shuddered passing out from the amount of times its been beaten up, Sapphire yelled out as the boys glanced at her. The boys circled the poor dog as Sapphire bargained.
"Two Thousand pounds if you stay away from the dog." Glared Sapphire. She wanted the dog safe as it looked really hurt.
"Tempting...But no, double it and we have a deal." Bargained the oldest boy in the gang. He knew what the dogs worth was and it wasn't much but the lady clearly wanted the dog so why not? And besides she was wasting her money on a hurt dog when she could get a new and improved one from Petco cheaper.
"Fine here take the money and leave." Sapphire glared at the boys as they left one by one until the oldest was the last one. He glanced back at her then the dog and huffily called out.
"He is wasting away towards nothing, having no use and yet you waisted money to get the ugly beast safe even though he is on the brink of death anyways. Your just wasting money though I appreciate the money for my gang." And with that he left.
Taking a closer look at the dog. Sapphire realised the dog was actually a wolf. She quickly tried to carry the massive wolf and carried him to the vets to check him out and after he was medicated she also took him to the groomers who took him in wearily and groomed him to perfection so no blood spoiled his lovely coat. From that day fourth she kept him clean and healthy and gradually he grew stronger and bigger in size two times as big as when they met. She also brought him as much food possible but careful not to spend too much to save money as they lived in the same alleyway as to the one she first found him in. But one problem was he was still asleep.
