Chapter 20: THE BEGINNING OF A NEW STORY
Ji-young then placed his lips on hers...and Nam-su was in shocked.
Was she dreaming or was Ji-young actually kissing her?
After their lips parted... Ji-young stared at her and then quickly stood up and said, "l-l-l'm s-s-sorry."
Saying that he ran out of the room like flash, leaving Nam-su still in a daze.
Ji-young went to his room, wore his clothes, and quickly came downstairs.
Aunt Bo who was scolding some maids was surprised to see him in his clothes and wearing his shoes.
Aunt Bo, "Ji-young where are you going to dress like that."
Hearing that, Ji-young said in a hurry while wearing his shoes, "I think it's best if I go home...I forgot something, so I'm gonna go.... goodnight Aunt Bo."
Aunt Bo was still surprised that she didn't even know where he ran and left. What had gotten into him so suddenly?
The next morning Nam-su woke up, half asleep....she didn't even sleep well and Ji-young was the cause.
She couldn't help thinking about the kiss she shared with Ji-young....why did he kiss her like that and then ran away?
She had made up her mind to confront him today and he was going to explain everything.
She came downstairs for breakfast, and she ate alone since her mom wasn't home and San-Ra was at her friend's house.
After she ate her breakfast, she went to her balcony once again. She was waiting for Ji-young to come because she had a lot of questions to ask him.
Ji-young came an hour later, and he looked good as usual.
Seeing Ji-young, Aunt Bo said, "Ji-young why did you leave like that yesterday.... don't you know that I was very worried."
Hearing that, Ji-young smiled and since, "I'm sorry Aunt Bo.... it's just that I wanted to go home."
Aunt Bo, "Well that's just a stupid thing to do, it was raining yesterday.... I'm sure that you must've gotten some cold....go upstairs to Nam-su, I'll fetch you some chili soup...it will help your cold."
Ji-young, "Ok Aunt.... thank you." saying that, Ji-young went upstairs reluctantly.
When he got to Nam-su's room, she then walked towards her balcony and saw her on her chair.
She wore a beautiful gown and packed her hair in a cute ponytail.
When Nam-su heard the sound of the door, she looked towards it and saw Ji-young.
Ji-young then came toward her and said, "Good morning princess."
Nam-su, "you still have the guts to call me princess after you left like that."
Ji-young, "I'm sorry.... it's just that I'm still not comfortable staying here."
Hearing that, Nam-su smirked and then said, "Is that the reason....or is it because of the kiss."
Hearing that, Ji-young face turned a little red and so did Nam-su, "Yes about the kiss....I would like to apologize."
Saying that Ji-young bowed to Nam-su and then said, "It was a mistake and I didn't mean to kiss you....I hope you can forgive me."
Hearing that, Nam-su was a little upset...what did he mean by mistake? Can a person kiss a person by mistake...So ridiculous, Nam-su thought.
With that, the matter ended, and they continued with their lesson.
The day passed so fast and Nam-su couldn't stop herself from still thinking about Ji-young.
Although she knew that it was a mistake, well that's what he said. She still couldn't help herself.
That was her first kiss and although it came unexpected, she couldn't help to imagine if it wasn't a mistake.
What if Ji-young had romantic feelings for her but she then slapped that thought out of her mind?
Ji-young already has someone he loves, that girl he talked about the first day they met and she could tell that he loves her deeply.
So there is never a way that he would feel that way for her.
She just has to get over the kiss and act like it never happened. She wasn't going to let a stupid kiss ruin her relationship with Ji-young.
With that, The day went and when Ji-young was done he left but little did They know that This kiss was just the beginning of a new story.
