While I was taking the elevator to the 48th floor where my room was, those words Leo said kept ringing in my mind, causing me to lean my head against the mirror inside, forehead pressed upon the cool surface, pondering over what had happened.

'Will you stay with me, Adel?'

'So that we would never ever part.'

'So that I wouldn't have to burn anyone to ashes.'

Every word, every sentence, they kept echoing, before I realized it, my fist had already pounded on the mirror, as my brimming feelings were on the edge of being overflown.
