Chapter 4: Legacy
"How can this happen". I was shocked to the core, they were fine just last night. There's no way this is an accident.
After their funeral I was sat in my room. Scarlet came and said to me "master you haven't eaten anything since then, please have something".
"Scarlet tell me the truth. Was it really an accident"
" I have to tell you something and i was thinking of waiting a little bit more, but i think it's time. Your mother was not just a normal human, she was a sorceress and I am one too". She suddenly generated light from her hand and I was surprised after hearing and watching that.
" She use to be sorceress, she was actually more then 150 years old. Long ago a demon named Blesmo came and attacked our clan. He has his own dimension a pocket dimension in which he is immortal and unkillable. That is until every member of clan band together and entered his dimension and while some people were distracting him your mother went to the core of his dimension and changed the nature of his power and cut his connection. But he was still quite strong and your mother was only survivor but she got cursed. Although she do got the ownership of that pocket dimension but because of the curse she lost her ability to produce an offspring and also start loosing her ability to wield magic." she paused.
"Magic in science term is ability to channel different energies and using them according to their will, your mother found me some time ago after observing my talent in magic and I became her disciple. After sometime your mother met your father and actually fall in love with him. And later found a way to have you. Their are many people behind them for their research, It can be the court of owls, League of shadows or someone else".
After this she dragged me to a room with some magic runes laid on and then took out a key and gave it to me. " Now its my duty to give you your legacy and followed you throughout your life as your servant". She start chanting some spell and then kissed my hand and after that kissed me. some sort of rune formed on my hand then on her neck to the place where her heart is.
"Now we are connected through life and death and I am willing to follow you throughout your whole life. Use the key and took what is rightfully yours".
A energy pass threw my hand and suddenly a door appeared. Scarlet and I entered that door and environment seems like it is both night and day together. It seems like desert in some place and vegetation in some place. After walking we found a castle in the middle.
" As you can see this open because of your connection with your mother, in this pocket dimension nothing can happen to you and time flows different here then outside 100:1". After that we returned to our house.
" Scarlet when is our will going to be announced. If possible I want to add something to it. Mention that I have an elder brother who is in coma". She looked surprised. " Don't worry you will understand everything".
4 years passed since that day. Justice league already existed and some new members joined them and also many heroes have sidekicks who started appearing with them. Our company expanded and we took parts in many thing from Medicals, Medical equipment, material science, robotics to Construction, weapon manufacturing and aerospace.
I also discovered many thing about my spider powers like having normal things wall crawling, enhanced acrobatics, minor night vision, enhanced spider sense and venom blast. I also made some new things like a new Ai/UI BT 727 which monitors everything in our company, a compact life support system pod that Doc oc used for medical purposes, various long distance surgical robots using Doc oc knowledge. Web fluids for myself and using that i produce a permanent silk which does not melts a for clothing purpose to make garments and sports wear and opened a new sports and garments clothing branch. Created acid webbing formula without webbing for materials department, a new stronger cement formula for construction and also using that to make our new headquarters in New York and Metropolis.
