Chapter 63: Critics' View

The audience has a vocal stance on the film and most of it being recorded on the papers helped the film have a steady supply of curious watchers.

This meant that, unlike most films that would stop before they can reach the million-dollar box offices, 'It Follows' has its place.

Among the eight films released on March 3 and all the other films that are still continuing their run, a film debated by the media would have its advantage.

Theater resources are allocated as it ensures theater companies that ticket sales are guaranteed.

Among their many releases in their theaters, Creed's 'Run Lola Run' and 'It Follows' are still among the ranks of ticket sellers.

The theater reception wasn't just set off by the audience interviews but also by established media and their critics.

"No question that the storytelling here is impressive; the story itself, however, is a bit thin. 3/5." -Toronto Sun.

"Ultimately, rather than sex, what seems threatening here is impending adulthood in all its dimensions, and in its floaty, insubstantial way, It Follows catches some of the mingled excitement and terror of growing up. 3.5/5." -Sydney Morning Herald

"It's a wildly fun conceit ... Director Wilhelm's atmospheric rendering of It Follows gives the film a fanciful, otherworldly feel. 3.5/4." -Associated Press

"Good horror films rely on suspense and tension, and this one has both elements aplenty." -some critic.

"It Follows" is the creepiest movie in years. B+." - Detroit News

"Less a conventional scary horror film than a fitful, disturbing dream, It Follows is all about atmosphere, with an unsettling soundscape and dislocating widescreen imagery." -Globe and Mail

"It's hard not to share Jay's (Jennifer Connelly's character) mounting panic as she watches the thing in its various guises walking slowly toward her wherever she may be, invisible to everyone else and entirely intent on destroying her. 3/4" -Chicago Times

"It's about many things, but dread infuses them all. You won't be grossed out. You'll be creeped out. And that's a lot more satisfying. 4.5/5." -Arizona Republic

-------

At this point in time, Alexander finally cared to read the critics' views on the film as they were more generous with their words.

This Creed version of 'It Follows' is a film that serves as a stopgap for Creed Pictures. It cost 4 million dollars to make and is overall a considerably better version than the original he saw.

His honed insight from watching tons of movies has proven useful once again. All the flaws of the original were gone and empowered to wow the late 80s.

The film like many other horror films of the 2010s is buried under the high-budget productions of that period.

When the film earned about 6 million dollars and won out against Lean on Me, it was a guaranteed winner for Creed Films once again.

March was a low month for box office profits and earning that much meant that it had promised to be another Run Lola Run success.

While the company and crew patted themselves on the back, Alexander was thinking about the implications of the win.

In the 1980s and 1990s, a total of 200 to 400 movies are released. From the 2000s to the 2010s, 500 to 1,000 movies are within the norm.

Since he picked an underrated gem from those competitive 1,000 movies in the future, placing them in the low-output years of the coming 90s is a match made in heaven.

Innovative comedies, romances, and horrors that never showed their light due to superheroes and sequel-ed franchises seem to be the greatest aid for the company.

Aside from the box office hits of every year, Alexander can now fill up the slots for the sluggish theater months.

Run Lola Run and It Follows has already proven its feasibility.

What would be troubling him now is the fact that there are only 12 months a year and cannibalizing his own produced movies against each other. Coupled with having significantly fewer theater availabilities and all those limitations is another point of contention.

"Either way, our chances of standing out and earning profits would be considerably higher." Alexander muttered as he organized all the newspapers that have gathered at old Sullivan's studies. "Picking out from ten thousand movies is a matter of taste and brainpower."

His time as a movie pirate has now upgraded from hacking and posting them to making them on his own and garnering their credit.

-------

After his news recon and study enlightenment, he had to make a trip to his room before he is off to school.

All the while he jogged, cleaned up, readied, and ate breakfast, sexy Jennifer was sleeping in his room.

On the bed, her naked figure was covered by a blanket. It may have been due to the year-long stress and explosion of hormones from a growing body but he literally went crazy on her.

Since the Babysitter seduction, he used her to the fullest and only stopped to get lunch and dinner from downstairs. Even when they were in the bathroom, he willed all his bathroom fantasies on her.

As they planned to get rid of their sweat and cum through the afternoon shower, it is still no use as he just squirted on her all over again.

Her bubbled breasts soaping up his entire body was a delightful experience. It is a shame that they didn't stay for long to avoid being sick from the cold and warmth.

When they dried up and headed for the night, the fun still ensued. Clamping her thighs and feet together, using the area behind her knees, armpits, and elbows. Basically, everything that could be considered tight was used as his rubbing spot.

Jennifer practically bathed in his early teen cums all over again.

Whenever his thing needs recharging, he could stick to Frenching and kissing as he saved up his mouth as a clean area.

By the time that midnight was nearing, he finished up on her pussy. He has creampied on that spot for an unknown number of times that her chances of not being pregnant was nearing zero.

Honestly, he never worried about that fact because he was too preoccupied with turning her screams of passion and caring into lust.

By the eleventh hour, she was repeatedly saying 'I love you' as much as her strength allowed her to.

For him, making her pregnant was too insignificant than making a girl say the special L-word through sex power.

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh.

This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.
