Chapter 14: Against the sword

Feeling the giant presence approaching him, Ryu released Qi from his body creating a red aura around him distorting the surrounding.
He can feel it, the figure emanating strong orthodox qi jumping from tree to tree like he was flying and when the figure arrived the golden Orthodox Qi just intensified more.
The one who arrived was an old man, with a grey beard and grey brows long enough to reach his beard, the old man wore an ascetic robe but slightly more grandeur than normal ones.
"HOHOHO Little demon you have been causing quite the ruckus in my territory"
The old man said, his voice though sounds like an old man it contains vigor and strength, only those capable martial artist have.
"Haha So you are the Kunlun Pinnacle Sword huh" Ryu said.
"HAHAHA I am flattered that even a mere Demonic practitioner knows me, HOHO this old man must be quite famous"
The Kunlun Pinnacle Sword said with his first sentence containing arrogance.
"But I am not just a mere 'Demonic Practitioner' Kunlun Pinnacle sword, I am 'the' Demonic Practitioner that brought down the three of Qinghai's most powerful sect"
Stopping his jolly laughter, the atmosphere became intense, both of them looked intensely at each other, their energy shaping into a blade and clashing to each other, the surrounding area became engulf with two colors, one being red and one being golden, the two collides like a crashing wave crashing through the shore, both of them was ready and all it needed is a signal for both of them to start.
"Let's stop this pointless chatter old man, we are both martial artist, the only way to communicate for us is to exchange swords" 'Or in my case fist'

After the old man finished his word, Ryu dashed at him and used his fist to punch, unsheathing his sword in a thunderously speed the old man managed to block it.
"I AM a martial artist!"
And as Ryu shout, he did a spinning motion using his feet and did a reverse roundhouse kick, the old man step back seeing the Qi-covered feet approaching him, he then took on a stance and outstretch his sword, a gold aura surrounding it and suddenly tendrils of gold blades emerged from the Qi covered sword.
"But a Demonic one"

The golden tendrils chased Ryu in an relentless manner, each of the tendrils sharp enough to cut raw steel while weighing like truck.
It chased and chased him eventually managing to corner him.
All of it attacked Ryu in all four directions.

A dome made of Red Qi encircled Ryu protecting him on all four sides, and then all of the golden tendrils collided, its impact shaking the forest and cracking the ground with the dust covering and flying in all sides. and when Ryu thought he was able to block it all, he saw a silhouette of a man hidden in the dust, suddenly a golden burst of energy emerged from it and directly hit Ryu's dome breaking it and hitting Ryu left arm.
With his barrier protecting him broken, the old man dash at him with his sword coated in gold, but even with his injured arm Ryu still used his arms and launch attacks and attacks to counter the old mans sword.
Sword and fist collided with each, hundreds of blows being traded, blocked, and returned, with their collision a vortex of air was formed around them.
But amongst these thousands of exchanges, a simple sword slash managed to slip through and slash Ryu's left side.
Ryu took a big step back and covered his wounded side.
"tch, You fucking old man"
Ryu thought in frustration, but as martial artist patience is one of the most important things, to lose yourself in anger is nothing but a one-way ticket to destruction.
"Hohoho So how is the Kunlun's Sword?"
"Pretty good, but I haven't shown mine yet"

Ryu shouted with all his might, red qi overflowing from his body, combined from his killing intent. Ryu then flexed his hands wide and squatted, his fitted martial arts robe without sleeves was torn apart and a demon face emerged from his back.

The air blew hard and the gust from his shout disturbed the entire forest, the qi and the killing intent he was releasing then took on a form, it was a humanoid-shaped.
With red skin and pinkish hair floating in the air like gravity have no effect on it, it's demonic smile reaching from ear to ear and it's stature reaching hundreds of meters tall.

The demon looked at the old man like it was his meal, the old man on the other hand felt a great disturbance aimed at his mental strength, it wavered a little but not enough for him to be scared.
"You truly are a demonic brat"
Kunlun pinnacle sword said looking at the terrifying mental disruption technique, if others were to encounter this it would surely drive them insane, even him who have achieve the absolute realm felt a little shaken.
"HAHAHAHA This isn't even final form!!"

"A what now?"
Ryu did a low stance and folded both of his arm, giant amount of red qi surrounded both of the fist enough for it to cause wind gust.

Ryu punched both of them at the same time, and the result was a great beam of red energy destroying everything in its path.
The old man knew that this one is unavoidable since it was traveling at a great speed, so he did a sword block technique.
[Kunlun Divine Sword: Sword Fortress]
Five swords made of golden light manifested behind him, they formed a circular dome around him by slashing in all four directions.
The Red beam was so strong that it obliterated everything even the forest became bald from it, it even broke the old man's dome.
"GHHH!!"
The old man gritted his teeth in pain when one sliver of the beam scratched him, but little did he know that that one sliver of injury will be the cause of his defeat.
"I win old man"
"Nonsense, do you think that measly atta- ARHHHHHH!!"
"HAHAHAHA The [Red Leecher Qi] have already invaded your body."
"Omae Wa Mu"
Ryu then from afar used one of Yuujiro's most iconic attack, his axe kick.
He kicked mightily the air creating a arc shaped red energy flying through at the speed of sound.
"Shindeiru!"
